🌞 How did you discover Wattpad?
N: Well, my friends mentioned it to me. They said it was better than Quotev and naturally I had to go check out a website which is supposedly better than Quotev. (Btw, it is lol)
🌞 What is the meaning behind your username?
N: Hehehehe I have a slight (okay, huge) Nico di Angelo obsession, and I felt my username should reflect that.
🌞 What inspired you to start writing in general?
N: That one's a long story. At one point in time, I became kind of obsessed with crossing over into fictional worlds. After a while, I realized that I could create characters based on me and have them do whatever the heck I wanted to do in the fictional world. So that's why I started writing :P
🌞 You won our Mini Contest. How do you feel?
N: Oh my gods. When I saw the notif, I lit screamed for a while to my friend on the phone and threw a small party with Lara. I was in a state of disbelief and complete happiness, because I honestly did not think that my question would win, but mostly just really really happy high
🌞 Was it hard to think of your unique question?
N: Well, tbh, I kind of came up with it on the spot, so no not really haha. (I'm not bragging, it's the truth ^~^)
🌞 What is your book called? What genre is it? What is it about (in 2-3 lines)?
N: My book is called The Knight's Tale.
It's a Fantasy book, a twist on the legend of King Arthur in which a boy somehow gets spirited into Camelot and is forced to live out Sir Lancelot's story.

🌞 Is it completed? How often do you update?
N: It is not completed yet, unfortunately. At the moment, it is on a hiatus until the end of March, like most of my other books as I am currently focused on the ONC, but after that, I hope to do weekly updates for it :P
🌞 How did you come up with the book title? What other title might you choose?
N: Honestly, the title was just a spur of the moment thing. My exact thought process was, "Oh! Sir Lancelot! Let's call it The Knight's Tale!"
If I had to choose a different title, it would probably be something Camelot-related or a one word title. I wouldn't change the title, though. I think it fits the book quite well ^~^
🌞 Why did you pick the legend of King Arthur among all the other myths and legends? And where did you get that plot twist idea?
N: Well, it was based on a JustWriteIt prompt in which we had to take a myth or legend and put our own twist. I was considering something Greek but my friend suggested the legend of King Arthur, and honestly his suggestion was just amazing, so I went along with it. The plot twist idea? Every story I write has plot twists in it. It's just a matter of me and Lara's brains I guess :P
🌞 How important is research to you when writing a book? What kind of research did you do, and how long did you spend researching before beginning this book?
N: Wow.....research. Uh, I don't really do much research on books that I write, tbh. I just flipped through a book of King Arthur legends that I had at home and yeah
🌞 Do you work with some outline, or just write?
N: Hmm......I usually only have an outline somewhere near the end of a book, when I'm sure of what I wanna write
🌞 When you write chapters for this book are you listening to music, are you sitting in silence or laughing like crazy?
N: I listen to music. And laugh. And talk to myself and Lara :P
🌞 Is anything in this book based on real life experiences? (personalities, ideals, goals, situations etc)
N: Yes :) but mostly just characters. There's a character based on me. And some of the chapters are partly based on real life experiences translated into fantasy events.
🌞 What was the hardest scene to write? Why?
N: The hardest scene.......well, it hasn't exactly been written yet, but I'm stuck on it. The part where Lance finds out what Guinevere cursed him with. That one's kind of rough around the edges, so that's why it's not published yet.
🌞 What was your favorite chapter or part to write and why?
N: Oh my gods. Definitely the scene where Lance meets Vivianne. It was so funny to write, and I love Vivianne's reactions to Lance's words!
🌞 How have you selected the names of your characters like Adrian, Zach, Viviane, Lance Elliote?
N: Adrian and Zach were from a one-shot I wrote long ago. Vivianne's just a name I really like, lol. Lance Elliot is actually a pun on Lancelot, so yeah
🌞 What is your favorite and least favorite character? Why?
N: My favourite character? Definitely Lance, hands down. Least fav? I hate Guinevere. I don't hate her in the original version, I just really hate her in my book. She cursed my baby Lance T_T
🌞 Which character in the book do you think is most like you? Why?
N: The character most like me is definitely Adrian. (By now, you can probs guess which character was based off me) Adrian's genderfluid, obsessed with Nico di Angelo, and a short Dom. Definitely me.
🌞 Which character in the book would you most like to be? Why?
N: Definitely Lance! He's so confident and sure of himself, and has this air around him that makes him really likable and the favourite of many people
🌞 If you could be best friends with one of your characters, who would you choose and why?
N: Honestly, I'm sure most people would want to be BFFs with Lance, but I would actually like to be best friends with Vivianne. She's sassy, strong, takes no shit from anyone and yet somehow patient while delivering funny comebacks to Lance's flirtations. She would be my perfect partner in crime. Vivianne is not someone you wanna mess with, and that's why I would want to have her as my BFF. We'd make a gr8 team :)
🌞 What do you think, would Lance Elliot like to get interviewed too?
N: Are you kidding? Lance LIVES for attention. Of course he would love to get interviewed, and he would probably flirt with the interviewer and audience while he's at it :D
🌞 What do you think would happen if your favorite characters knew that they were fictional and met you?
N: Hello my question, we meet again lol. Honestly, they would have really different reactions. Vivianne would immediately ask me if I was conspirating with the system. Lance would dramatically question his existence, suddenly gush that he was famous and that people were actually reading about him, and then proceed to ask me to make his character just a little more handsome. Arthur would shrug and carry on with life. Merlin would say that he always knew that there was a greater force controlling what they did. Guinevere and Morgan would start planning my demise. Adrian and Zach would just shrug and carry on with life, not caring that they were fictional. Adrian would probs fangirl with me about Nico di Angelo for a while though.
🌞 If you could take out a character from a book, who would you want to get rid of? Keep in mind getting rid of a character could change the story completely.
N: Honestly? I'd get rid of Zach. He's the least important character of my book. Sorry, Zach
🌞 If you should write this same story from another person's point of view, who would you choose?
N: Hard question. No one's really in the entire book except for Lance. I guess I would choose Vivianne. Instead of her sister being the pen, she would be the pen instead and everything else would be the same except written in her POV
🌞 Who would you cast as the main characters of a movie adaptation of your book?
N: Okay, REALLY hard question. I can't answer this one, since I'm not really well versed with actors and actresses. I would need to find someone who not only looks like the characters, but can bring elements like Lance's charm, Vivianne's sick-of-all-your-shit attitude, King Arthur's sunniness and Guinevere's hidden maliciousness to life
🌞 Which places in the book would you most like to visit?
N: There's only really two main places in the book- Adrian's house and King Arthur's castle. I would prefer King Arthur's castle, since Camelot sounds pretty cool :P
🌞 What would be the first thing you would do in the world you created in your own book?
N: Stare at Vivianne's chest just to see what Lance is so excited about ;) I am not sorry.
🌞 Share a favorite quote from the book. Why did this quote stand out?
N: Most of the best lines would be found in Chapter 2, "AAH! I'M A BRUNETTE!" I have a lot of funny quotes there, plus Lance's priorities make for great lines, lol. The best line is easily the chapter title or "Nice boobs." It pretty much sums up Lance's entire character
🌞 Can you remember one comment from a reader that made you really happy?
N: Honestly, I can't choose! So many people have left amazhang comments on my book, and they all brightened my day. I appreciate every single comment my readers leave on TKT, so I can't decide!
🌞 Why do you think people should read your book?
N: Why should people read my book? Hmm.....how do I say this without adding in too much self-promotion? Well, I would say that TKT's characters are interesting and funny. The plot is also a fairly original twist on an old legend, hopefully leaving the readers wanting more, I guess?
