After getting a call from Caroline to meet at her house, Mallory entered the Forbes residence to find Tyler sitting in the living room. Once seeing the girl, Tyler immediately stood up, "What the hell are you doing here?" She asked Tyler, angrily glaring at the male hybrid.

"I came to apologize," He responded.

"Apologize?" Mallory exclaimed loudly an angry look on her face, "You bit me! I could've died. I think we're way past apologies by now, Tyler."

"That's the problem, Mal!" Tyler argued, "Klaus told me to do it and I said no. And then...just happened anyway. Like, it was completely out of my control."

Just then, Caroline entered the room, causing Mallory to turn to her with a betrayed look, "That's why Tyler and I had my mom call him," She informed her friend, just as Bill Forbes walked into the room.

"Hello, Mallory," Bill greeted Mallory, who frowned in confusion.

Mallory continued to frown, glancing between Tyler and Caroline, "What the hell is he doing here?" She asked, venom laced in her tone.

To say the least, Mallory hated Bill after what he did to Caroline. She might not have showed the Mystic Gang a lot, but she cared for each and every one of them deeply, especially Caroline. She wanted nothing more than to rip Bill's throat out at that moment, but she knew she couldn't. For Caroline's sake, of course.

"Caroline and I thought, since he can resist compulsion, maybe he could teach me to resist the sire bound." Tyler explained and Mallory turned to Caroline, who nodded her head in confirmation.

Mallory sighed deeply, just before turning to face Bill, an uneasy look on her face, "Can you help him?" She questioned Bill curiously.

"I'm gonna try." Bill responded in calm tone, nodding his head slightly.

"But why though?" Mallory asked him, "You hate vampires."

"Because he made a mistake and now he wants to make good," Bill informed her, but his eyes were fixed on his daughter, "And I understand that."

_____

In the Lockwood Cellar, Bill was chaining Tyler up while Caroline and Mallory stood beside them, "How do you know, this is gonna work?" Caroline asked her father concerned, watching him chain up Tyler.

"It's a process. It took decades, to train myself to resist compulsion. Brain's like a muscle. The more you use it, the more it can do," Bill explained to the girls and Mallory shifted uncomfortably as he noticed how worried and nervous Tyler looked, "A sire bond, at its core, is about one thing... gratitude. If you believe you owe Klaus your life, ask yourself why."

"I was cursed. Every full moon I had to change into a wolf. It was torture. Klaus took that away." Tyler responded in a calm tone with all honesty.

"He freed you from your pain and now you feel indebted to him. To break the sire bound you gotta make yourself turn. Own your pain then you'll owe Klaus nothing and you will be free." Bill explained, glancing over at Caroline.

"But how can he turn?" Caroline asked Bill confused, "It's not a full moon."

"He doesn't need one," Mallory suddenly spoke up, causing the whole group to turn to him, "Your father's right, Care. Tyler's a hybrid, which means he can turn at will now."

"Yeah, but I don't know how to just start," Tyler replied, but it was clearly said just to stall.

"You're making excuses." Bill complained.

"You don't understand!" Tyler exclaimed as Bill tightened the chains around Tyler's torso, "When I turn, I break every bone in my body."

"You asked for my help. This is the only way," Bill reminded him, "How badly do you want your freedom?"

Tyler considered what Bill had said and turned to look at Mallory, who gave him an encouraging look.

"Okay." Tyler finally responded, nodding his head slightly.

"Okay." Bill replied, patting Tyler on the back before going over to the stand with Caroline and Mallory.

Tyler walked back near the wall, tugging at his chains to make they were secure before he concentrated. Suddenly, he started to transform, causing Mallory to tense up, concerned as to how it would all go.

Meanwhile later, Tyler was still turning, his bones breaking. Panting for breath as he knelt on the ground on all fours, Tyler looked up at Bill with a pleading look, "I can't. I can't."

"Try harder." Bill demanded in a stern tone, causing Mallory to turn to him with an annoyed look.

"God, can't he just rest for one damn second?" She complained loudly and Caroline nodded her head in agreement, taking Mallory's side.

"We're dong this my way, Mallory," Bill responded coldly, "If you can't handle it, you should go. Take Caroline with you."

"What, no--" Mallory began to argue, but was cut off by Tyler.

"He's right, Mal," Tyler encouraged her, causing Mallory to frown, "Just go."

"What?! No!" Mallory argued, "Tyler!"

"Go, Mallory!" Tyler told her sternly, causing Mallory to let out a sigh in defeat.

She was hesitant at first, just before turning to Caroline, "Fine, let's go, Caroline," She told her friend quietly, just before the duo left the Lockwood Cellar.

After making it into the woods, Mallory's phone rang and after taking it out of her pocket to see that it was Damon calling her, she immediately answered, "What is it?" She answered rudely.

"Klaus knows where the coffins are," Damon informed Mallory, whose eyes widened in shock, "I need your help getting them all out in time."

"There's no need," Mallory responded.

"What do you mean, Mal?" Damon asked his sister in confusion.

"Let him have four of the coffins, we just need to get the locked one out in time and we'll be good. That's the only one that matters." She explained and Damon couldn't help but feel as though she was right, "Listen, I'm close to the witch house. I'm going to get the locked coffin out. And I know exactly where to hide it." She paused, letting out a sigh, "And I have a little plan in mind to give ourselves one last hurrah before he gets his coffins."

Mallory smirked, just before hanging up the phone and speeding in the direction of the witch house.

_____

At the witch house, Damon and Mallory both entered the room with the coffins together. The candles around the room were lit everywhere and the coffins were invisible, which informed Mallory on its own that Klaus was near.

Mallory stopped where she was and Damon dd the same when he was heard footsteps. Soon after, Klaus entered, causing Mallory to roll her eyes, "What took you so long?" Klaus questioned, a smirk on his face as he began to walk toward Damon, "Hiding behind your witchy friends. And in squalor, no less."

Suddenly, the lit candles around them flared up and the male hybrid yelled out in pain as he began to endure a pain infliction spell caused by all of the dead witches that resided in the house.

Mallory stared down at Klaus with an amused look on her face, "Insulting a bunch of dead witches...not your smartest idea, Klaus." She remarked, just before Damon added in.

"You know, I made the exact same mistake the first time I came in here." Damon commented, causing Mallory to smile and shake her head.

Klaus let out a loud laugh, beginning to recover from the pain being inflicted on him by the dead witches, "Well, you know the funny thing about witches is that no matter if they are living or dead, they care deeply about their own," He informed the two vampires, groaning in pain before continuing, "A hundred dead witches have a thousand living descendants--"He was cut off by himself screaming out in pain, just before he continued once more, "And I have no problem killing every last one of them if I don't get my coffins back!" He yelled out as he got back in his feet, "As we speak, our Hybrid friend is prepared to end the Bennett line."

The spirits whispered among themselves and inflicted a little more to Klaus, just before the candles went back to normal. The whispering stopped and Damon looked around shocked while Mallory just rolled her eyes.

"Well, that's a pity," She muttered under her breath as she turned to Klaus, who walked over to stand right in front of her.

"Now," he demanded before turning away from her to speak to all of the dead witches that resided there, "Please...Show me the coffins." He ordered and a few moments later, the coffins appeared, "Here we are."

Klaus' eyes widened in shock as he found there to be three coffins instead of four, "Where's the fourth?" He questioned, knowing exactly who was in that fourth locked coffin, "Show me!" Klaus yelled out, but got no answer from the spirits.

"Well, here's the thing," Damon started, a small smirk on his face, "They can't. It's not here."

"What did you do?" Klaus questioned and made him way towards Damon.

Damon slowly backed away before Klaus could get to him, "Well, Bonnie gave me the heads up. I mean, Mal and I didn't have enough time to get all four, but we did have time to get one."

Klaus lowly growled at him as he walked even closer to Damon, "I will tear you from limb from limb. And only then, when you are a writhing mass of blood and flesh, will I rip your heart from your chest as your dear sister Mallory watches." He threatened him lowly.

"Sorry. Same rules apply." Mallory spoke up, walking over to the group with her arms crossed, "You know, leverage and all. I know you want your family back. But something tells us you want what's in that coffin a hell of a lot more." She smirked at them, just before she began to walk away.

________

At the Salvatore Boarding House, Mallory and Damon were standing in the front of the fireplace when Stefan walked in, "Oh, the two you are still alive. I assume, that means Klaus didn't get his coffins."

"Don't look so happy, brother," Mallory spoke up as she turned to face him, "We were only able to get one of them out in time. The locked one."

"Probably a good choice." Stefan nodded his head.

"Yeah. You know, if you're banking on Bonnie's momma to open it, you're screwed. She doesn't have any powers." Damon informed Stefan, who didn't seem bothered.

"Nah, doesn't surprise me. Its been that kind of night." Stefan replied and Mallory couldn't help but feel as though there was something up with the way Stefan was talking to Damon.

"Is Elena okay?" Damon asked, only to have Stefan suddenly turn around and punch Damon in the face.

"Oof," Mallory commented, letting out a large, amused laugh, "I can't say you didn't deserve that, Damon."

"I take it you two had a heart-to-heart," Damon commented, recovering from the hit before turning to Mallory, "And I take it you don't want to talk about it. So why don't we talk about what Mallory did instead?"

Before Stefan could ask Damon to elaborate, he turned to Mallory, who held up a silver dagger, one she had taken out of Elijah's heart before Klaus arrived at the witch house.

"What did you do?" Stefan asked Mallory, furrowing his eyebrows in confusion.

Mallory smirked in satisfaction, "Oh, brother. I just did the thing that will save all of our lives." She commented, "After the note I left dear Elijah, he'll be on our side within no time."

Meanwhile later, Mallory was sitting at the fireplace in the living room, a glass of bourbon in her hand. Just then, there was a knock on the front door, Tyler standing on her doorstep, "Hey," he greeted her quietly, his hands dug into the pockets of his jackets.

"Hey," Mallory replied, opening the door wider before backing up, which allowed Tyler to enter, "What are you doing here?"

"I'm leaving town for a little while," Tyler informed her, causing Mallory's eyes to widen in shock.

"What?" She exclaimed, a concerned look on her face.

"I'm leaving town to break the sirebond. I'm going to continue turning so that I'll be free." He explained to her, walking closer to Mallory, "It may be hell turning and breaking every bone in my body, but I'm willing to do it if it mean I can be with you again and not have to worry about hurting you because of this stupid sirebond."

"Let me come with you," Mallory replied quickly, "I can help you chain yourself up, I can--"

Tyler cupped Mallory's face with his hands, forcing her to look him in the eyes, "I can't let you do that, Mal," he told her quietly, "This place is your home and where you belong. There's no way I'm going to let you to leave with me when you finally found a place to call home after all these years. I'll come back soon, I promise you. And then we can be together again. But for now, we need to take a break."

Not wanting to argue, Mallory nodded her head, tears welled in her eyes, "I love you," She whispered to him softly, trying her hardest not to cry.

"I love you too, Mallory," Tyler responded, "More than you know."

Mallory leaned forward, softly pressing her lips against Tyler's. The couple began to kiss, just before Tyler sped away, knowing there was no way he could say the word, "Goodbye" to Mallory without breaking.

After Tyler left, Mallory began to cry, no matter how hard she tried to stop herself. Mallory walked back over to the fire, lifting up her glass. She gulped down the drink before pouring herself another. Becoming so filled with rage, Mallory screamed out in anger as she threw her glass of bourbon into the fire, the flames becoming larger.

AN: I purposely had Mallory and Tyler go on a break while he left town bc Mallory is going to GET AROUND A WHOLE LOT.

You're probably wondering what I mean and it will be explained in due time. There's one that's obvious (😉😉) but there's two others you won't expect at all but she gets with them for a reason. (She uses sex to gain intel) Ik it probably sounds weird, but you'll understand once it happens😂
