"Are you sure she won't mind" Scott asked for the like 50th time since Skylar picked him up "Scott my mom offered to speak to Melissa, she wouldn't have done that if she didn't want to." The hybrid sighed as they walked into school "I really hope this works." He sighed as they came to a stop at her locker "me too McCall, me too."

Grace walked up to the McCall house and knocked on the front door, after a few seconds Melissa slowly opened the door "Grace, thank you for coming." Melissa said with a tired smile "not a problem Melissa."
Melissa opened the door wider and then took a step back, Grace cleared her throat "I have to be verbally invited inside." Melissa looked at her for a second before nodding softly "come in."
Grace walked through the threshold and into the living room "so Sky told me that you have been having some trouble accepting all of this." Grace started as she followed Melissa to the living room.
"My entire life I thought vampires and werewolves were just stories and now there is a vampire in my home and my son is a werewolf." Melissa sighed as she sat down "How did you deal with this when you found out about Skylar?"
Grace cleared her throat awkwardly before she started "Well I was born a werewolf, everyone in my family was, so when Skylar was born I already knew what to do." Melissa looked at her shocked for a second before thinking through her answer
"so your a vampire but you were born a werewolf and your daughter is a werewolf too?" She asked
"I was born a werewolf yes, but in the type of wolf the Lockwoods are the gene lies dormant in a person until they take a human life, which is what Skylar and I both did and so we both turned into a real wolf on the moon." Grace explained and Melissa nodded
"Does Scott turn into a wolf too?" Melissa asked and grace shook her head "no scott is a shapeshifter, but we're werewolves." "I don't get it, Scott's dad and I are both human, how the hell did he get a gene?" Melissa asked and grace thought for a minute
"he was bitten, not turned by a gene, shapeshifters can be bitten by an alpha but with our kind one or both of the parents have to have the gene." Grace explained and Melissa sat there taking everything in "so who gave Skylar the gene? You or your ex?" She finally asked and grace chuckled softly "that's a complicated story, you sure you want to know?" Melissa nodded so Grace started talking
"Skylars father is named Klaus Mikaelson, he was born a werewolf but was tuned into a vampire before he activated his gene, the first time he killed someone after he turned into a vampire that's when he activated his gene, 1000 years later he moved to the town I was living in and tried to kill someone I cared about, after about a year and a half I fell in love with him and started dating him and we'll Skylar happened but we broke up and me and sky moved here." Grace gave her the short answer.
And Melissa nodded "wow that's a lot." Grace nodded "if you have anymore questions I'll be happy to answer them." Melissa nodded and started flooding Grace with even more questions.

Skylar texted Scott asking where he was so she could talk to him, he texted her back telling her to come to the animal clinic, when she walked inside she heard Issac, Scott and Denton talking about issacs dog "he's not getting better is he?" Issac asked and there was a moment of silence "is it cancer?" The teen wolf asked.
"osteosarcoma." Deaton replied and then the room fell quiet again, Skylar stepped into the door way and watched Issac take his dogs pain "you can't heal him but you can take his pain." Deaton explained and Skylar cleared my throat "I can heal him, if you want." She offered and he looked at her skeptically "I'm a witch Lahey it's what we do." Skylar shrugged and after a minute he nodded.
"Deaton do you have some sage?" Skylar asked and he nodded, when he came back the hybrid lit the sage and had Issac hold it above his dog, she put her hands between the dog and the sage and began the spell "meum reditus tui salutem. meum reditus tui salutem. meum reditus tui salutem." Skylar repeated
Skylar could feel the spell working and they watched as the dog slowly perked up until it sat up and wagged its tail. Issac laughed and smiled before he started to pet the dog "thanks." he smiled "no problem." Skylar smiled back.
"They're leaving tonight." Issac told Skylar after Scott and Deaton left "Okay? Why are you telling me?" She asked as she hoped up on the steal table"I'm not telling you I'm asking you, I'm asking for your advice." He explained and she looked at him like he was crazy "from me? why?"
"Because I trust you, you always seem like you want to do the right thing." He explained "Issac I usually have zero idea what I'm doing." Skylar said with a light laugh
"what are you doing right now?" He asked and she sighed softly "I'm not going anywhere, if that's what you mean. I have to many people here who need me."
Issac licked his lips before talking again "Well I guess that makes me lucky because I don't have anyone so..." he trailed off and Skylar put her hand on his arm
"you have me." She said with a small smile "if you ever need a place to crash, if you want to get away from Derek but not leave, you can stay with us." Issac and Skylar looked at each other for a second before she cleared her throat.
"Well I have to go get ready for tonight so." Skylar trailed off and he nodded "I'll see you around." She walked out to her car and sat in the parking lot for a minute before sighing and driving home

She walked up next to Scott and sat on the bench "Your not in your cheer uniform?" He asked and she shook her head "I'm benched until next season." She explained and he nodded they both looked back at the field until Skylar spoke up "why the hell is Stiles on the field?" Skylar asked and Scott smiled "he's playing." She looked at him with a mix of shock and happiness "oh this won't end well." She sighed.
Skylar sat on the bench anxiously bouncing her knee as the game started, Scott and Skylar both sat in a tense silence until her phone rang making them both jump
"sorry." She mumbled and pulled her phone out of her pocket "oh for the love of god." She sighed "I'll be back." She told scott before answering the phone "give me a second." Skylar told the person at the other end.
She walked past the crowd to the parking lot and then raised the phone to her ear "I was wondering when you were going to call." She snapped down the phone and they sighed "I need your help little wolf."
"So I've heard repeatedly. What is this threat so great the all mighty Klaus Mikaelson can't fix it?"
He let out a sigh that was mixed with annoyance and frustration "A coven of rather pesky witches, Hayley is missing and..." he started but paused "Klaus if you expect me to help you I require honesty." "Mikael is alive." He told her and she froze "what?" She asked slowly
"me and Elijah have been having dreams of Mikael, we think he is trying to come back before the other side collapses." He explained
"your not the only ones who have been dreaming of him, Esther too." "So come to New Orleans, help us get rid of them and protect my daughter." At that last sentence she grimaced "no." She snapped "Skylar." He snapped angrily.
"Niklaus, Kol and Marcel are the only ones who help me with my problems why do expect me to drop everything to fix your problems if you can't be bothered to so much as raise a finger to help me?" Skylar asked then hung up.
Skylar whipped away a tear she didn't realize had fallen, "you ok?" Issac asked as he walked up to her "fucking amazing." She snapped at him and then walked back to the game.
They watch stiles continue to miss shots and get tackled to the point where it was physically painful to watch until someone ran up and sat next to Skylar "You came to play?" Scott asked and Issac smirked "I came to win."
Issac got on the field and started knocking people down so coach would have to play Scott until Gerard had Jackson scratch Issac so he would be out of the game.
A stretcher came out and took Issac away and Scott ran up to Skylar "go with Isaac, make sure nothing happens to him." He told her and she went to argue with him but he ran away causing her to growl in frustration and then turn back inside to find the tall wolf.
When Skylar found them they were in the boys locker room with Gerard about to cut Issac in half with a sword. When Issac saw Skylar he shot her a quick smile that turned into a smirk before she raised her hand and caused the sword to go flying and embed its self in the wall.
Scott and Skylar took care of the hunters but when they all looked around they noticed Gerard was gone "where is he?" Scott asked, Skylars phone buzzed and she grabbed it "Scott, 30 seconds." Skylar told him and he ran as fast as he could to the field to stop Jackson.
Skylar turned to the wolf in front of her "Are you ok?" She asked and he nodded. Skylar used her magic to heal him from Jackson's venom and then they ran to the field, as we got there all the field lights turned off and everyone stared screaming and running.
Issac grabbed Skylars hand and interlaced their fingers as they looked through the dark for Jackson or scott.
Melissa ran up to the teens and told them someone was hurt on the field causing Issac and Skylar to run up there, Skylar flicked her wrist and all the lights turned on again. When the lights came back on they all saw Jackson lying in the middle of the field.
Melissa came up and tried to find a pulse but she shook her head "he's not breathing, no pulse." Scott, Issac and Skylar looked at his hands before Scott spoke up "he did this to himself."
Melissa pulled up his shirt to reveal claw marks on his stomach. She started trying to do CPR but it was pointless, Sheriff Stilinski pushed through the crowd and started looking around until he called out "where the hell is stiles? Where is my son?"
AN — honestly i love Skyssac so far and Klaus and Skylar finally talked thank god.
