My head was underwater, I was drowning. And when I went up to gasp for air, you pulled me back down. And while it felt exciting at first, it was lot more painful, but still, I loved every second of it.
This love was everything to me. A rose that bloomed, and a fire that burned bright. Before you, I felt numb, just a soulless body walking the Earth with no reason to live. You gave me that reason. You took my demons and made them yours. And I almost lost you because of it.
I wish with all of my heart that you stayed. I wish with all of my heart that you told me why you left. I wish, with all of my heart and with all that's in me, that I loved you enough for you to never leave.
Because you were everything I had, and everything I needed. And now that you're gone, I have everything but reason. The memories you left behind will forever be tattooed on my mind, and the scars we share will always remain on my body, heart and soul.
