5 AM.
My least favorite part of the day. Every single morning it's the same old routine. I struggle to get out of bed only to miserably look at myself in the mirror and point out every single flaw plastered on my face and body. It's not something I can really help.
Today is different though. This morning I'm feeling a bit out of place. I guess I feel happy. I don't stand in the mirror long enough to find something wrong. The only noise filling the room is from the light rain hitting my bedroom window. And as miserable as it looks outside, today I woke up and I feel like I can breathe.
Today is the day I've been waiting almost ten months for. My best friend Michael, and his three best mates Ashton, Luke, and Calum, come home from tour.
It's not something you hear everyday really. One minute you're in school with your best friends as happy as ever and the next minute, they're in a band touring the world and on their way to superstardom. Miles and miles away.
But here I am. Still getting up for school every single morning, feeling sad. That's the way it's been for the past ten months.
