minho has been in his studio all day to the point where it didn't even seem like you were both living under the same roof.
you were in bed listening to 'break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored' when a sudden idea came to mind.
you thought about doing the breakup prank on minho considering that he had pulled a bunch of pranks on you before.
you stepped out of your shared bedroom and walked to his studio room.
you knocked on the door before opening it and slowly peeked your head in.
he turned his head towards you and gestures you to come in.
minho: "c'mhere", he said as he patted his lap for you to sit on.
you made your way to his lap and carefully sat down.
he trapped you between his arms before moving his eyes back to his computer screen to continue working.
you saw the dark circles under his eyes as you heard him sigh.
you could clearly see how exhausted and tired he was due to the overflowing amount of work he had left to do.
y/n: "when will you be done?", you asked with pleading eyes.
yes you wanted to prank him, but you also wanted to do it so that he would have his attention on something other than work.
minho: "i don't know baby. i still have a little recording left to do", he said sighing.
y/n: "i have to talk to you", you said getting into character.
his head turned to you but his eyes were still fixed on the screen.
minho: "later babe, i'm still busy."
y/n: "it's important."
minho: "everything you say to me is important, just not now babe. i don't want you to repeat everything over and over just because i can't focus on what your saying." he said kissing your temple. "later baby, i promise."
you pretended to sigh as you stood up from his lap, walking away so that you could slam the studio door in order to add more fuel to the fire.
he wanted to run after you but he realised how much work he had left and sighed as he continued.

you've been lying in bed for a while now.
just when you were about to forget about doing the prank and go to sleep, you felt someone crawl onto the bed.
just by the presence, you knew it was minho.
looks like your doing the prank after all...
you turned to look at him trying to look as tired and as bored as possible.
he immediately wrapped his arm around your waist.
minho: "hey." his voice was really raspy from fatigue. he burried his face into your neck.
y/n: "min, i need to talk to you", you said trying not to smile from the tickling sensation your neck is feeling because of his hair.
he hummed in response.
minho: "go ahead."
there was a moment of silence before you blurted it out.
y/n: "i think we need..."
minho: "hmm?" he hummed against your neck.
y/n: "i think we need a break."
he chuckled as he lifted his head from your neck and leaned on his hands.
minho: "right." he nodded with a light smirk.
y/n: "i'm being serious." you said trying to convince him.
minho: "mhmm." he shuts his eyes for a moment before leaning in to kiss your temple.
you moved away and looked down pretending to play with your fingers.
he then used his fingers to remove strands of hair you had in front of your face away.
minho: "cut to the chase babe. what do you wanna talk about?"
y/n: "i wanted to tell you that" you said giving him quite a stern look.
minho: "no, you're kidding", he said with the smile still on his face.
you looked down once again and shook your head.
minho: "babe?", he said sitting up as he was getting worried.
y/n: "lets break up", you said in a serious tone and an expressionless face.
minho: "stop joking around."
y/n: "i'm not, seriously."
minho: "babe-", he became speechless. "why now?", he asks eagerly.
y/n: "we always argue and-"
minho: "since when do we argue?", he stood up as his tone started raising a little.
y/n: "i-i don't know. you're always busy with work and when your not your playing video games.this might be beneficial for the both of us. you get to fully dedicate yourself to your work and not have to worry about me."
it was either that you were a good actor, or your words hit hard, because tears started forming in your eyes.
his face softened as he heard you speak so seriously.
minho: "baby no", he inhaled deeply. "i love you so much... i'll spend more time with you but please, y-you can't."
y/n: "it's for the better minho."
minho: "no it isn't. i know for a fact that I can't live without you. you're what's best for me. please give me another chance." his voice weakens as you saw tears also start to form in his eyes.
you felt so bad but at the same time you wanted to continue.
y/n: "i don't think i can do this anymore."
you looked up to see minho with a tear rolling down his cheek and him wiping it away almost immediately.
minho: "i'll cancel everything, but please just stay with me", he pleaded as he stood up from the bed to pick up his phone.
y/n: "what are you doing?", you whispered as you saw him dial a number.
you saw the contact he was calling saved as "JYP."
y/n: "minho no", you said as you lightly tugged at his arm and he looked at you with his weakened eyes.
minho: "i'll cancel everything, just let me talk to my boss."
the moment you saw him in that state, your heart sank to the bottom of your chest.
y/n: "baby no", you said as you stepped closer and snaked your arms around his neck.
he brought his head down to lean on your shoulder as you stroked his back.
y/n: "babe, stop crying, i'm so sorry."
with all his might he hugged you tightly, wrapping his big arms around you, never wanting let you go.
you hugged him back as you stroked his back.
y/n: "i was just messing with you," you said against his soft hair.
his sniffles slowly started to calm down as he lifted his head up.
his hand was in front of his face as he was using it to wipe away his tears.
minho: "y-you're so m-mean. w-what h-have i ever done to y-you?", he said weakly.
y/n: "i'm sorry", you laughed. you're always pulling pranks on me too, you know."
minho: "t-this was w-way to mean", he said sounding like an actual baby.
y/n: "i'm sorry", you said in an attempt to bring him back to your arms as he waddled to your shared bed, plopping his body down.
y/n: "babeee", you called as you made your way to him, but he covered his face with a pillow.
y/n: "come on babe", you said as you tried to remove the pillow, but his grip was too tight.
y/n: "what can i do to make you forgive me?"
he removed one hand from the pillow and patted the empty spot next to him.
you walked around the bed and sat beside him.
he pulled out his hand and you scooted towards him so that the two of you could cuddle.
y/n: "am I forgiven yet?", you asked
minho: "one more thing."
y/n: "and that is?"
minho: "you owe me hugs and kisses for the rest of your life."
y/n: "believe me when i say that's really not an issue."
minho: "then let's start now", he says leaning over to kiss you sweetly.
