Today instead of going straight to lunch I decided to go to the library and fill out some college applications, something I've been holding back on doing for a while. I applied to a couple of local colleges in Louisiana and then I did an application for the university of Phoenix just for the fun of it but I doubt I go there. Once I was done I sent them all off and headed to the cafeteria to enjoy, or try to enjoy, the rest of my lunch
"Noel! There you go" Ben's extra ass said out loud as I walked over to the table and sat down
"Why do you have to do that every time you see me?"
"Cause he's stupid as fuck" Elena replied while she was hugged up on Kd
"Where you been lil girl?" Boomer asked me and I made a face
"None of your business. You ain't my daddy"
As soon as I responded back to him a French fry flew into my face. I smacked my lips and threw it back but he dodged it and hit a very pregnant Jamie. Her belly was very noticeable now and she wore her pregnancy like it was a trophy. When the French fry hit her she glared at me then walked over to where Ben sat
"Ben can we talk?"
He turned to look back at her, giving her the meanest look possible
"Back yo ass far away from me"
"You never gave me a chance to explain myse-"
"You heard what the man said. Move bitch" Kd butted in, obviously getting annoyed at Jamie already. She glared at him and Elena threw her hand up
"Don't even open your mouth to him cause I fight bout mines. And unborns can get it too"
"Is there a problem over here?" Another voice asked. I looked and saw Daejah walking over to the table . She glanced over at me and rolled her eyes
"If it is Whatchu gone do?" Elena asked Daejah
"I mean wassup with it? I been wanting to fight a couple of bitches at this table for a while"
"Get this girl far away from me and I'm not playing" I told baby joe, who sat beside me with his face in his phone. He looked up to see who I was talking about and shook his head once he saw Daejah
"Daejah don't come over here with this shit. You already know you'on need to be over here when you already got yo' ass beat twice"
"Baby joe don't play" Daejah told him with a straight face
"Ain nobody playin. You already know noel wanna beat yo ass again and you over here tryin her"
"Why? Cause she mad that Kentrell locked up. Bitch ass got what he deserved for putting his hands on a female" Jamie responded and Baby joe got up, walking over to them
"Forreal, move" he pushed both of them upside the head tryina get them to leave but they wouldn't. Instead Daejah placed her hands on the table and leaned across it to look me in my face
"Oh shit" boomer mumbled. I could see out the corner of my eye Elena was putting her hair up like she was getting ready to fight but I just sat there and exchanged looks with Daejah. On the outside I may have looked chill but on the inside my blood was boiling. She might wanna Chill out before I end up killing her
"You mad about Kentrell? Maybe now he'll stop putting his hands on females"
I bit my cheeks and bawled up my fist. I tried to control myself but once a smirk came across her face I lost it. I reached across the table, grabbing her by the shirt, and started punching her in the face.
"Oh hell no!" Jamie yelled as she tried to run up to the table but baby joe yanked her back and pushed her a little
"Sitcho pregnant ass down"
The more I continued to hit Daejah the harder my punches were. This was the second time I fought this girl and so was over it. My vision was getting blurry as I threw punches and as soon as the first tear dropped I grew even angrier
"Noel chill out! Chill!" I could hear Ben say as he pulled me off of her.
"No! Let me go!" I yelled while I tried to get him to let go of me but he wouldn't
"She leaking already that's enough"
"Let me go Ben!"
He let me go and I looked at Daejah who was being helped off of the table by the SRO. Her lip was bleeding and one of her eyes was starting to swell up. Practically the whole cafeteria was crowded around the table watching and recording with their phones, making comments about the whole thing
"Young lady I need you to come with me" the officer said as he grabbed ahold of my arm but I yanked it away
"I can walk by my damn self" I snapped back before following him out of the cafeteria while the nurse came too Daejah's aide

"How long you got out?" Kentrell asked as I laid in bed on the phone with him. When he called I told him about my fight with Daejah and how I was now suspended yet again
"I can't go back until next week"
He sighed
"After this ion need you fighting nomo in school. Handle that shit anywhere else except in school cause ion need you to get kicked out when you so close to graduation"
"But Kentrell I-"
"No buts. You heard what I said Ight?"
"Okay"
You have sixty seconds left
"Did you find out when you're getting released yet?"
"Nah. Not yet"
I huffed and he chuckled
"Calm down we both know ima be out soon"
"I know but it's been long enough Kentrell I miss you like crazy"
"I miss you too but you know just know when I get out it's gone only be about us"
"And that's a fact. Now ima let you go so you can go back to having fun with your jail buddies" I told him with a laugh and he smacked his lips
"Shut up. That's why you ain got no friends witcho lonely ass"
"Bye Kentrell!" I said to him while rolling my eyes and he was now laughing "I love you baby"
"I love you too. Now stay outta trouble"
"Okay daddy"
Kentrell started laughing again and soon after the phone went dead. I sighed and laid my phone beside me
"So you still out here fighting these lil girls?" Dana asked as she walked into the room while eating pineapple slices. She sat on my bed and I frowned up my face
"And you still out here pregnant?"
She stuck her finger and I grabbed her fork to take one of the pineapples out of the can and ate it
"Besides I only fought the same girl from the game"
"Who is this lil girl?"
"Kentrell's ex. Her name is Daejah"
Dana rose her eyebrow "how she look"
"Kinda slim, brownskin, real pretty-"
"She gotta pregnant best friend?"
"Yeah. You know her?"
"I work with that bitch at the corner store. She talk about her ex all the time and his new girlfriend but I ain knew it was you and Kentrell. Well now I know and next time ima-"
"You ain't doing nothing" I quickly cut her off "you not fighting while you carrying my nephew"
I placed my hand on her belly and she rolled her eyes
"Y'all get on my nerves about this boy"
"Well it's the first boy in the family so.."
"Should've known it was gone be a boy. All Deion produce is boys" she told me while biting a pineapple slice. I quickly sat up and wore a shocked expression
"Trey's brother Deion?"
Dana nodded
"Oh hell" I muttered.
Dana and Deion used to mess around while we were living in Arizona for some years. We all told them they might as well get together but they both were too focused on being some hoes. Now I guess Deion ended up slipping up because now Dana's pregnant with his 3rd son.
"Does he know?"
"Yeah. I actually told him back when we went to Arizona for thanksgiving"
"So you knew then?"
She nodded "Yeah. I found out right before I left. I didn't tell momma though until I came back on your birthday"
"Wow..."
"Trey found out when I went to his house to tell Deion so I'm surprised he didn't say anything to you"
"Let's not get on that specific person right now" I told her as I laid back down and she laughed
"I heard about him and Madison. So that tells me that you don't give a fuck about him going missing do you"
"Not at all. He can go rot in the ground for all I care" I bluntly told her with a shrug.
"I mean I can't blame you for feeling like that. That was really fucked up but let's just hope the boy is somewhere alive and safe" Dana responded with a laugh as she hopped off of the bed and walked out of the room
