Since the TVC launch is set in a few days, the collaboration team gets more busy specially in the CAA office. Victor allowed Laura to report to CAA once in a while to ensure a launch that will be better than the first one.
Currently, the collaboration team is busy in the MGOC boardroom, preparing for the final presentation of the TVC before its launch. Victor invited Daniel and Allona so that they could have the first glance of the finish product. The two girls wait in the President’s room while Daniel remains in his room finishing some documents that needs to be signed.
“Are you excited Allie?” Laura asked
“Mas kinakabahan po ako kesa excited sis. Mas kinakabahan pa ako ngayon kesa nung araw na nagshoot kami” Allona replied
“I have to commend Mau for a good job” Victor replied
“Magaling naman talaga si Mau, yung TVC nyo nga ni Daniel ang ganda ng pagkakagawa. Hindi pa kayo in good terms ni Daniel nung ginawa nyo yun. What more ngayon na in-love ang mga models nya” Laura said
“I hope hindi obvious na awkward kami ni Daniel sa isa’t-isa” Allona said
“Makikita mo mamaya, walang awkwardness instead look of love ang nakita ko eh” Victor teases which makes Allona’s face turns red.
When abruptly Daniel came in with a visitor “Kuya, look who drops by” he said and everyone throw a gaze on the woman Daniel is with.
“Stella, what a nice surprise, what brought you here” Victor said and his excitement is very obvious.
“Hello Victor Monteiro, I am so glad to see you again” Stella said and happily wraps her arms around Victor. “How are you Mr. President?” Stella asked while Victor saw how sharp his wife is looking at him.
Victor gently pushes Stella to reach for Laura’s hand before he replied “I’m good. By the way Stella, I would like you to meet my wife Laura” Victor said while Stella’s left arm remains around Victor’s waist
“Laura? Laura of Costa Advertising Agency?” Stella asked
“If you are referring to Laura Navarro who works as the Executive Director of CAA, that was I. But I don’t work full-time with them anymore.” Laura replied.
“Nice to finally meet you Laura, I heard so much about you” Stella said and extended her hand to Laura for a hand shake while Victor discreetly removes Stella’s arm around him
“Nice to meet you too Stella, my name is Laura Navarro-Monteiro. You may call me Laura and I hope everything that you heard about me is not as bad as how I heard them” Laura said when she accepted the handshake and Stella just smile at her.
“Stella, I would also like you to meet my wife, Allona” Daniel said
“Nag-asawa ka na rin Daniel? Hindi ko yata nabalitaan” Stella said. “Hello Allona, nice to meet you” she told Allona and extended her hand to her for a hand shake too which Allona acccepted
“Hello Stella, nice to meet you” Allona replied smiling
“Grabe nag-asawa na pala ang favorite kong Monteiro brothers, wala man lang natira para sa akin” Stella kidded obviously the girls did not like what she uttered
“I have an eight month old son, he is also a Monteiro, gusto mo ba syang hintayin?” Laura said
“Palabiro ka pala Laura, exactly opposite of what I heard about you” Stella said
“Oftentimes you should not believe everything that you hear Stella” Laura replied and Stella just smiles at her.
“Anyway, nakakaistorbo ba ako Mr. President?” Stella asked while she puts back her left arms around Victor and her right hand at his chest.
“We have a TVC presentation in thirty minutes Stella” Victor replied and slowly removes Stella’s arm around him.
“Is that the TVC for VictoRi Whisky?” Stella asked
“Yes” Victor replied
“Great, yan talaga ang ipinunta ko dito. I only need fifteen minutes of your time. I have a business offer for you” Stella said
“Can we set that some other time Stella?” Victor asked
“Eto naman fifteen minutes lang, tapos kung interested ka, let’s set a meeting to discuss it further” Stella said and put her arms around Victor’s arm and rested her head on his shoulder. “Sige na Victor please, for old time sake” she further said.
“If that’s the case, please excuse us Mr. President. Sa boardroom na lang kami maghihintay while you talk business with your visitor” Laura said
“Saglit lang naman ‘to Ri, you don’t have to leave” Victor said
“Wala naman kaming alam ni Allona sa mga business-business na yan. I think my time will be more useful if I check on the collaboration team on their preparation” Laura said. “Let’s go Allona. Excuse us Stella” she said and walks to the door Victor choose not the stop her since he already knows his wife’s sudden change of mood.
“Thank you Laura, fifteen minutes lang naman and then Victor is all yours” Stella said
“Don’t worry Stella, you can make it thirty. A few minutes delay would not hurt the collaboration team anyway. And I am confident that in that thirty minutes, my husband is still mine” Laura said before she stepped out of the room and Allona and Daniel followed her after they excuse themselves.
“Are you alright sister-in-law?” Daniel worriedly asked and pulls Laura going to his room. “Dun tayo sa room ko at baka kung ano ang mangyari sa preparation ng collaboration team kung dun ka tatambay with that kind of mood” he further said
“I am not Ok, but do I have a choice?” Laura replied when they finally settle in Daniel’s office. “Sino ba yang Stella na yan at parang linta kung makapulupot sa asawa ko” she asked
“Friend sya ni Kuya, magkabarkada sila nung college, kaya ganyan sya kakomportable kay Kuya” Daniel replied
“Pwes ako hindi komportable sa pagpulupot nya sa asawa ko” Laura said
“Ganyan naman sila talaga kahit nung college pa, wala namang malisya yun” Daniel said
“Hon, hayaan na lang muna natin si Laura on what she feelings right now. You don’t need to calm her, baka mas magalit yan” Allona whispered and Daniel nodded.
When suddenly someone knocks at the door “Come in” Daniel said. Allona froze at her spot when she sees Sabrina enters the room carrying a box which seems like a piece of cake
“Hi” Sabrina said. “Hello Allie, Hi Laura, I did not know that you are here” she greeted and the ladies just smile at her
“Do you need anything Sabrina?” Daniel asked
“Sa restaurant sa baba kasi ako naglunch and nakita ko na available yung cheesecake nila so I grab a slice for you since very seldom na available ‘to sa kanila. Di ba favorite mo ‘to” Sabrina said and handed the small box to Daniel which the later awkwardly accepted
“Thank you Sab” Daniel said
“I’ll go ahead, ibinigay ko lang naman yan sa iyo” Sabrina replied
“Alright, thanks again” Daniel said
“I’ll go ahead Laura and Allie, nice to see you again” Sabrina said and the ladies just nod at her.
“Who wants cheesescake?” Daniel asked
“Dun na lang kaya tayo sa boardroom sis. Hayaan na muna natin i-enjoy ni Daniel yung cheesecake nya, favorite nya yun eh” Allona sarcastically said
“Teka lang, nagagalit ka ba?” Daniel asked
“Hindi, bakit naman ako magagalit, kung nakipaghalikan ka kay Sabrina sa harap ko malamang magalit ako eh hindi naman so wala akong dapat ikagalit. Pero nabubwisit ako at obvious naman na hindi ako natutuwa na tinanggap mo yung binili nyang cheesecake para sa iyo” Allona ranted
“It will be impolite if I did not accept” Daniel said trying to defend himself though he could not stand the sharp look from Allona.
“Impolite your face Daniel Theodore” Allona said. “Tara na sis, hayaan na nating i-enjoy ni Daniel yung cheesecake na bigay ng favorite Area Manager nya” she said
“Favorite Area Manager? Saan naman galing yun” Daniel asked
“Ewan ko sa’yo, wag mo akong kausapin at bwisit na bwisit ako sa iyo” Allona said while Laura remains silent dealing with her own frustration on her husband
“Anong bang ginawa ko?” Daniel asked
“Anong ginawa mo? Nagtatanong ka pa, magsabi ka nga ng tutoo, alam na ba ni Sabrina na nagkabalikan na tayo?” Allona asked
“Do I have to tell her that? She is just a friend and I don’t have the obligation to tell her everything about my personal life” Daniel said
“Kairita ka talaga” Allona said. “Tara na nga sa labas Laura, ayokong makipag-usap dito sa bayaw mo” she further said and both Laura and her leave Daniel’s office very annoyed.
