Previously:
As the elevator began to move it dramatically stopped. “Caitlyn what button did you hit?”
She looked at me like I was nuts “Wait, I didn’t push anything but the button that has a 1 on it.”
I flew over to the buttons and kept hitting the door open button. Panic soon to take over me, the elevator was stuck. I quickly hit the emergency button to let them know we were stuck. “Don’t worry everything is going to be fine.” I informed Caitlyn as I turned to her.
I could have sworn I was looking at a ghost Caitlyn completion has turned completely pale. “Emma we have a bigger problem than that, my water just broke.”

Reality set in when I saw Caitlyn sit on the ground holding her stomach as she tried her hardest with the contractions that were coming quickly now.
“Emma push the call button and tell them I’m in labor and to hurry it up.” She suggested while pointing at the button.
Pushing myself off the floor where I was trying to comfort Caitlyn I walked as quickly as I could in the elevator and pushed the call button.
“Hello ma’am we have called the fire department and they are sending people right over.” The person came over on the speaker.
“Sir I must inform you that my sister here has went into labor.” I practically yelled.
“Ma’am call down the fire department has just arrived and I will call an ambulance.” He replied back calmly.
I turned around to see Caitlyn taking deep breaths and starting to sweat “Emma please call Kyle.” She demanded as she slid her phone over to me.
I held it up trying to get service but it was a fail. “Caitlyn I can’t get a signal.” I informed her.
She reached for my hand as she felt another contraction coming. Screaming out in pain she hollered “Please try!”
“I am Caitlyn I am. I promise.” I took a deep breath with her as she squeezed my hand turning it red.
“Ladies this is Chief Lawson of the Fire Department, are you two okay? We are trying our best to fix the elevator as quick as possible.”
Trying my best to response loud enough for him to hear me “Sir my sister is in labor and her contractions are about 10 minutes apart, I have no call service and can’t reach her husband. Can you please call him for me?”
“Yes ma’am what is his number?”
Caitlyn turned her head and began to shout out the number. “555-8249, his name is Kyle, just please don’t tell him I’m in labor he will flip just tell him I’m stuck in the elevator.”
I looked at Caitlyn “Why won’t you tell him, you may have this baby in the elevator and then imagine him when he finds out.”
“You and I both know how werewolves are, he may become angry and transform in public where he’s at, he may pass out, and I just don’t know at the moment what he’s doing. She explained.
“I could have them call Tyler and tell him but not let Kyle know.” I offered.
“Kyle would know something is up.” She reminded me.
About 5 minutes later Chief Lawson came over the speaker “I have called Kyle for you all and he said he would be here very soon.”
“Thank you” Caitlyn shouted out as another contraction began.
I looked at Caitlyn who looked like she was about to pass out. “Emma I can’t do this! It hurts so badly!” She screamed
I pretty sure the whole store hears her yelling. “I know it hurts but try not to think of the pain just think of the little boy you will soon have.” I tried to encourage her.
“Don’t have sex, ignore what I said. Cause this right here hurts like hell.” She tried to laugh but failed when she had another contraction.
This baby is soon to be arriving where the hell is someone? “Ma’am they said it would be approximately 5 more minutes how are you two doing.”
“How am I doing? How do you think I’m doing I’m in pain damn it.” Caitlyn shouted.
I couldn’t help but laugh at her only Caitlyn would so something like that. “Your husband has just arrived Ma’am.”
“Cut the ma’am thing my name is Caitlyn damn it.” She once again shouted.
Only going into labor would take the sweet Caitlyn and turn her into a cussing machine. “Emma he’s coming I can’t wait any longer.” She yelled.
“Oh yes you can!” I quickly said.
Blood and myself don’t go well together, there is no way I can deliver a baby. “Quick Emma look and see if you see the head.”
I looked around to see if she honestly did not mean me. “Are you nuts? First you can’t have the baby here and second if I see blood I’m gone.”
I saw Caitlyn leggings lying over in the corner and quickly I grabbed them incase for some reason I would need them. Only Caitlyn would wear a dress in winter and add leggings to keep her warm.
Taking my good time Caitlyn was getting inpatient “Good God here.” She cried as she flew up her dress.
Hesitating for a second I looked and sighed in relief, no head was seen. “Your good no head yet.”
“Maybe I should start pushing.” She questioned.
“No that is a bad idea.”
The emergency lights in the elevator went off and soon the actual lights came on signally the elevator was almost done. “Caitlyn maybe you should put your underwear on I doubt Kyle would want other males looking at you down there.”
“Who gives a flying rats ass what he thinks, I’m the one in pain and going through hell who cares.” She screeched at me.
Throwing my hands up in defense I apologized. “Okay sorry I didn’t mean anything by it.”
I heard the elevator make a noise and soon began to move. “Caitlyn I need to push!”
“No, we are almost there, just wait. I wouldn’t know what to do even if you did push.” I honestly told her.
“Remind me to never let you go in the medical field.” She half joked with me as I felt my hand get the life squeezed out of it.
I heard the ding of the elevator giving me a sense of relief. I made my way to the door to jet out and let the paramedics take over but she gripped my hand tighter.
“Please Emma don’t leave me.” She plead as if she was about to die.
“Okay.”
The doors open and in rushed about four EMT followed by Kyle who looked as if he actually knew what was going on. I really rather not be here when she pushed which I hoped she could make it to the hospital to have a proper birth.
I tried to pull my hand free but failed. “No don’t go.” She begged again.
“I’m going to let Kyle come hold your hand.” I told her, as Kyle walked over to me.
She nodded her head as she quickly took his hand. “We believe we can make it to the hospital just in time if that’s what you two want.” One of the EMT said.
“What ever you think is best. “ Kyle said.
Walking my way out of the elevator I spotted Tyler over to the side talking to someone. I waited until he was done to address him. They had Caitlyn loaded up and ready to go in about 2 minutes. I promise her I would have Tyler bring me to the hospital as soon as we left here.
I notice the store had been cleared out and only people who were here to help were only allowed in. When the guy walked away from Tyler I made my way to him.
He placed his hands on my cheeks “You look pale, how are you doing?”
“Better now, I don’t think I could have delivered a baby.” I honestly informed him.
He kissed my forehead “Believe me I don’t think you could either.” He told me with a smirk.
“And to think I wanted to be a doctor, oh well.” I joked with him.
Staring at me I saw his eyes change to a darker brown “You can be my doctor anytime you want.” He winked at me.
All of a sudden everything me and Caitlyn talked about started to come back to my head. What am I going to do? Maybe I should just ask him, but what if he doesn’t want to have sex with me and then I’d just embarrass myself.
Trying to get my attention Tyler was snapping his fingers in front of my face. “Earth to Emma, are ready to go?”
Smiling at him the best I could “Sure thing.”
As we made our way to the door the guy Tyler was talking to earlier stopped us. “Here is my card remember just tell you sister anything she needs we will give to her for free.”
Plastering on a smile Tyler shook hands with the man “Thank you, and have a nice day.”
“You’re very welcome.” The unknown man replied back.
Hand in hand we walked to Tyler’s car. Being the gentleman he is, he held open my door and allowed me to get in. As soon as he got into the car we were on our way to the hospital. Knowing deep down I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Tyler I decided to give him the answer he has been waiting for.
“Yes.” I quickly said.
“Yes?” He questioned confused.
Turning to look at him while he was driving I couldn’t help but smile. “Yes, I will marry you.”
Taking his eyes of the road he looked over at me “You will?”
“Would I lie to you about something this important? I decided that I was being stupid, actually Caitlyn pointed it out, but she was right I have been being stupid. I love you and you love me. You’ve told me time and time again that you won’t leave and I believe you so now I’m letting you know I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”
He started to shake his head as he laughed. “Here I was trying to plan a romantic proposal and you say yes after being trapped in an elevator with my pregnant sister. Don’t get me wrong I loved that you said yes but now I can’t kiss you because I’m driving.”
Stretching over, I planted a quick kiss on his cheek. “You’ll have a chance real soon.” I told him as we passed the Hospital in 1 mile sign.
After Tyler found a place to park, he quickly got out of the car came to my side and help me get quickly out. He quickly pushed me to the car and smacked his lips to mine. As soon as the kiss started I could tell this one felt different from the others.
It had more passion to it. I felt his tongue run along the bottom of my lip soon finding its way into my mouth. I wrapped my arms around his neck, but soon pulled away so I could breathe. Looking around the parking garage not a soul was insight.
Tyler stood there patiently for me to caught my breathe. He had a smirk on his face like he wanted to laugh at me but kept it to himself.
“You okay now?” He questioned.
“Yeah, you just took my off guard is all.” I said as my face began to heat up.
This caused his laugh to break lose. “My bad, but I must say you are a good kisser, by the way here.” He finished as he kissed my hand.
He pulled a black box out of his jacket pocket and produced a ring. Taking my left hand he slipped it on. “I had other plans for us tonight but since you already said yes I’ll take you out to celebrate.”
Looking at the ring I couldn’t help but feel a tear escape my eye. “It’s beautiful.” I managed to choke out.
Grabbing my hand Tyler led us to the elevator in the parking garage. “Do you mind if we take the stairs, I’m not too thrilled to get on an elevator right now.”
“Anything for you.” He told me. Pausing for a moment Tyler looked at me “I love you Emma Davis, and will always love you.”
“As well as I love you Tyler Price.” I informed him with a quick kiss.
“Forever.” I whispered.
