We've lived next door to eachother our whole lives but she never seemed to notice me y/f/n y/l/n the girl of my dreams had no clue I even existed
I heard music blasting I opened my curtain looking out my window seeing her dancing around in her room she was everything I could ever want and more she was perfect but she would never go for someone like me she always seemed to date the sporty athletic guys aka the complete opposite of me I sing with my friends for a living i realized I was staring when we locked eyes she winked at me and smirked closing her curtains
My alarm went off pulling me out of my gaze it read 7:45 I quickly got dressed school starts in 15 mins I grabbed a granola bar and headed out hopping in my car I seen y/n come out as I pulled out of my driveway she smiled at me I met up with Kevin and Devin at my locker "what you so happy bout?" Kev asked "nothing" I said tryna hide my smile dev punched my shoulder "come on what happened y/n finally catch your weird ass spying on her" he joked I rolled my eyes "actually yes and she winked at me" I smirked they looked at me like bitch please "okay whatever you say" kev laughed "I'm being fr" I said
We were walking down the hall the bell for first period was about to ring dev and kev were infront of me y/n was walking past with her lil friend group I turned back to look at her and she bit her lip at me my soul almost jumped out my body I tapped Dev
"bro did you see that?" "See what?" "Nigga she just but her lip at me" "I think he on sum today kev Bc y/n the baddest girl here why tf would she be looking at yo ass" "ur just mad Bc u tried wit her and she ain't want you" I laughed he rolled his eyes "man whatever I'll catch y'all at lunch" he said running off to his class

I was running late to lunch I had to finish a math test I quickly turned a corner hitting into someone them dropping all of their stuff I realized it was y/n I quickly helped her pick up everything I looked at her she was so cute "I'm so sorry I should've been w-" she cut me off "it's okay I'm good your um Daniel right?" She asked how tf does she know my name "uhh yeah" I said nervous asf we've never talked before "you heading to lunch?" She asked I nodded she smirked "me too walk with me" she said I followed not saying anything the way she swayed her hips as she walked I couldn't help but glance at her butt "my ass is not the way to lunch" she said I whistled looking around tryna act like I wasn't paying attention she didn't even look back i was confused how did she even know
"So do you not speak?" She asked lowkey with an attitude still kinda walking ahead of me "yea....I...it's just....I...ummm...uhh" I couldn't even talk right she giggled "okay boy next door I'll see you later" she chuckled walking over to her table I was speechless kev yanked me down into my seat "bro wtf were you doing with y/n" he asked "none of ur business" I said he smacked his lips "wow okay" "it was nun she dropped her books I helped her she caught me looking at her ass" I shrugged "wait she caught you" Dev laughed I rolled my eyes "yeah and she knows my name and that I live next door to her" I said "well no shit nigga you be creeping" kev joked
I shoved him annoyed they always tryna pick on me bout something dev's phone dinged "that's my dad we got a studio sesh later" he said I sighed "I ha-" I felt someone brush up against me walking past I turned and y/n had walked past and winked at me again "wtf" dev said "see I told you" I said god wtf does she want from me I don't like this game she is playing with my mind

Y/N POV
There was just something about him I couldn't put my finger on he was always around but never said much but he was cute asf but he didn't seem to realize it
School was over I was walking out of the building from my after school student council when I seen the rain coming down hard I sighed running to my car holding my bag over my head to give myself some protection I pulled out my keys frantically unlocking my car getting in pulling the door shut I put the key into the ignition I turned it trying to start my car but it wouldn't I tried one last time and heard my engine bust
I slammed my hands onto the wheel of all days for my car to break down it picks the one where it's pouring fucking rain outside "you've got to be kidding me" I said pissed off I had just got my hair done and now I'm stranded here
I groaned getting out I pulled everything I needed out of my trunk shoving it in my bag I zipped up my coat and pulled on my hood I had a 30 min walk home from here and all my friends already had left for work I put in my headphones staring my walk it hadn't even been 10 mins and I had stepped in 3 puddles soaking my socks and shoes "Bow, bitch, kick yo' door, uh Mission, find the stash spot, Make 'em hit the floor, uh I say hold yo' hands high, Don't make me let it blow" was all I heard by NBA YoungBoy from my headphones before I seen a familiar car pull up next to me and honk
I stopped and turned confused pulling back my hood so I could see who it was the window of the car rolled down revealing my fine ass neighbor that never seemed to want to talk to me and I was soaking wet "hey umm you need a ride?" He asked I bit my lip containing myself from saying something that might make him runaway like he always does "yeah if it's not any trouble" I said "of course not hurry get in" he said getting out wit an umbrella giving me his jacket running to the passenger side helping me get in running back to get in the drivers
We sped off I sat quietly not saying anything just listening to the music he played in his car which happened to be my kind of music he seemed tense like he wanted to say something but I didn't know him that well so hell what do I know
The song changed it was nothing I ever heard before like I new the beat but something was different it sounded amazing I usually listened to hood shit like rap and all at but this was like r&b and it was fucking amazing I couldn't help but ask "what's the name of this song?" I asked "it's um medicine by queen naija" he said I looked at him confused Bc these were definitely not the words of the song I know that song by heart "who sang it?" I asked "uh me...well actually me and my friends" he said scratching his neck nervously I smiled I think I've fallen in love
"Well y'all sound amazing it's cute you can sing sad I can only listen to it this once tho" I said "I could um send you the link if you want" he said I smiled "that'd be great" I said
DANI POV
I don't even know how I was acting so cool when she was literally sitting here telling me she loves that I sing the song changed again and she frowned "awee go back I wanna here it again" she said I replayed it I felt her staring at me I kept my eyes on the road "so....do you always stare into my room?" She asked I knew she was smirking I could feel it I coughed "what?" I asked "mhmm I be seeing you I just don't say nun" she chuckled I stopped at a red light "my bad you just fine asf I'll um stop tho" I said she leaned over the armrest turning down the music putting her hand on my thigh I tensed
"I never said you had to stop" she smirked the light turned green and I sped off she moved her hand giggling god this girl idk what tricks she has up her sleeve but she better stop playing wit me I pulled up into my driveway i got out "thanks for the ride text me sometime" she said handing me a note "I'll be waiting for you by the window" she said biting her finger smirking walking over to her house
I went into my house drying off I never would have thought in a million years y/n would be into me I ran upstairs to my room I started dancing jumping around my room I stopped remembering she could probably see me through the window I quickly closed it I sent her the links to my music
It was around 5 now I had been home for a good 2 hours the studio sesh wasn't mandatory plus dev and kev always brought girls over anyways and that just wasn't my scene today there was a knock on my room door nobody in my house knocks plus I thought I was home alone so um wtf "come in" I said and in walked y/n I sat up quickly "hey what's up" I said "ur brother let me in I came to uh return your jacket sorry to intrude" she chuckled lowkey nervous why tf would she be nervous around me with what she pulled in the car I thanked her for brining my jacket she went to leave but I pulled her back
"stay" I said "there's that cute voice again" she smiled and nodded agreeing to stay I sat on my bed I pulled her onto my lap "oh your getting bold now huh" she laughed she put my arms around her waist and cuddled into me "don't be scared I swear I don't bite" she smirked I got comfortable too rubbing on her thighs she bit her lip once again
The movie was honestly boring and killing my whole vibe so I turned it off "hey I was wat-" I cut her off kissing her she kissed me back she let go smiling at me "definitely wasn't expecting that" she laughed "look I've liked you for a while y/n I just didn't think you'd go for someone like me" I confessed she pouted "I always thought you hated me" she said "what no never your the girl of my dreams" I said she smirked "oh really" she said turning so she was sitting in my lap directly facing me she leaned in close
"Well let me make those dreams come true" she said crashing her lips into mine
