I Wish

I wish to have equal rights
I wish to be able to love who I love
I wish to be able to say my sexuality without judgement
I wish coming out wasn't something I had to do
I wish abandonment wasn't a worry when saying who I love
I wish I didn't have to hide who I am
I wish people would not quote the Bible at me
I wish people would stop saying I need to wait till I'm older to "decide" on my sexuality
I wish people knew sexuality is not a choice
I wish people would stop treating me like I'm any different from them
I wish people would treat me like I'm human
