Need no introductions, they say?
Well I find that rather lame
My name is Gray
And I'm pretty damn gay
People ask how I knew
Can I ask how did you?
I found the clue
To be my attraction to people like you
Do you dig my honesty?
Most people rather my comedy
But who wants comedy when going for equality?
Maybe I should have started this with an apology
Either way I'm sorry
Sorry for starting this party
Hate to make it so darkly
But I'll just blame it on society
That's what we always blame it on
Thats the gay phenomenon
We'd hate to say it came from mom
Or god forbid, us the spawn
Society has a million names for us
But let's be honest we just want to love
So can we stop making it so tough
Let's finally say enough
This poem is wrapping up
So I have one more thing to judge
Please don't hunt us for blood
After all, we just want to be loved
