Shawn's Pov:
"We took you guys because everyone was an easy target that night"he said.
I looked at the ground.
"But I wanted you before that night I wanted you the day I met you Shawn"he said.
I looked up at him.
"When was that?"I asked.
"When we were kids"he replied.
Then I remembered.
(Flashback a couple years ago)
I was running through a field trying to catch a butterfly. When my bullies caught me. They pushed and kicked me. I fell to the ground tears running down my face. Then I heard screams and their cries. Then I heard running. I kept my face hidden in the ground.
"Hey they are gone you can look up"a male voice said.
I looked up. He saw what the boy carved into my skin. The word FAG in big bold letters. The boy was handsome. His blue eyes looking into mine. His blonde hair glowing in the sun. He held out his hand. I took it and he pulled me up. I looked up at him. He smiled at me I giggled. From that day me and the blonde hair boy were friends. He never once told me his name. But we had each other and that was enough for us. The day though he left. Things got worse. I was bullied kicked around. To the point where I almost killed myself.
(End of flashback)
I looked at Jackson. He pulled up my sleeve and touched my scar lightly. I felt the tears rolling down my face.
"You were him weren't you"I asked softly.
"Yeah I was I thought of you everyday Shawn. I thought of how I failed to protect you. I failed and I just wish I was there to protect you everyday" he said.
That's when I did the unexpected.
I kissed him.
