❛❛ Becky Lynch falls in love with Charlotte Flair's younger sister. Charlotte is highly overprotective especially after her sister's recent breakup with Paige, but she soon gives in after a lot of begging from Becky. ❜❜

"WHAT, YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME, ASH?" The young woman chuckled as her older sister teased her about the latest gossip she was trying to let her in on. The eldest sibling rolled her eyes and continued to shake her head from her position across the table. "Fine," The youngest laughed, "I'll change the topic." She tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear absentmindedly as she softly lifted her tea cup closer to her lips, waiting for her sister to add on to the conversation. "At least speak to me!" She whined.

For the first time ever, Harley found herself on a temporary vacation with her older sister. They were given the bare minimum of days needed for them to rest, catch up with their family and friends outside of their careers, and sight see in the latest stop on the Road to WrestleMania.

"Now why would I do that?" Her older sister jokingly complained, her left eyebrow raising in response to the question being asked. On rare occasions that these athletes do get a vacation, the older sibling wished nothing but to be inside a ring right now, avoiding the next conversation that she knew was about to surface. She tore the paper across the top of a sugar packet off and slowly began to pour the sweetener out onto the plate in front of her in utter boredom. Maybe one of her girlfriends would text her and ask if she could meet up with them, Charlotte could act as if it was an emergency and get out of this tiny café as quickly as possible.

"Because this is the only time we ever get to talk to each other outside of work." Harley readjusted her sunglasses that sat on the top of her head, noticing that they were beginning to slip off. She loved her sister more than words could possibly say, but it can be very easy to grow annoyed with Charlotte in a given amount of time because of how possessive she is with her. Specifically when it comes to moments like these when they're speaking personally, she can act quite childish and immature. "I've missed you, like, a lot."

While being extremely overprotective over her little sister, it has been very difficult for Charlotte to adapt to her new life on Monday Night Raw without her, as she was drafted to Smackdown Live. The only way she could possibly look out for Harley now is by watching her on TV, but of course that wouldn't help. It's been hard on the both of them, texting each other daily wasn't providing the same experience that they were used to when they were together.

"I've missed you too." Charlotte sighed, almost out of exhaustion because she was tired of pretending that everything was fine and that she knew something that her sister wasn't telling her. During an outing with all of her girlfriends a few weeks ago, she found out that her sister had been going on spontaneous dates with her best friend ever since the superstar shakeup three months ago. "And that is totally not true, by the way!" Charlotte mentioned while pointing a finger, "You have a phone, you can call me and speak to me anytime you want."

Harley's eyes opened wide in reaction to her sister's response, "I could say the same about you!" She argued, crossing her arms across her chest and leaning backwards into her chair, "You haven't been returning any of my calls. What's up with you, Ashley Fliehr?"

Charlotte sighed, allowing her eyes to fall to the displaced sugar on the porcelain plate, decorated with blue petals and little birds, she scratched at one with her nail. She tore at the corner of her bottom lip, unsure of how to answer that question properly. She used to speak with her sister every single day without failure for at least an hour if possible, now she can barely hold a conversation with her for less than five minutes. The blonde had opened her mouth to speak, but she couldn't find the words.

"You know that you can tell me anything right?" Harley was having a difficult time trying to see where her sister's head was at. She was looking into her eyes, but she couldn't see what was behind them. "What's wrong, Ash?" The youngest Flair reaches across the table and takes her sister's hands into her own.

By dodging her sister's quick attempt of comfort, The Queen pulled her fingers away, uneasy, shaking her head. "I can't just talk you-" She searches to find the right words, but nothing was coming to the surface. Charlotte took a deep breath and tried again. "I can't just talk to you and pretend like nothing is happening. It's not that easy to pick up the phone and call you once you find out that your little sister is-" she bit at the inside of her cheek until she tasted an unpleasant metallic liquid, "-dating your best friend."

Completely shocked and embarrassed, the young woman slowly removed her hands from atop of the table and placed them in her lap as she cowered. Charlotte picked up her water bottle and took a long swig, to do all that she could to remove the taste from her mouth.

Harley's joyful expression had faded so fast, she barely had any time to comprehend what was happening before she felt her sister eyeing her down, she was waiting for an explanation. Running her hands over her face, she asked, "How did you find out?" She was worried about how Charlotte came across the information. She could have heard it from a shitty rumour account online or over drinks at a party with some of her friends from Smackdown Live.

"It doesn't matter how I found out, Harley!" When Charlotte was upset, the entire atmosphere would change. Anyone within a 10 mile radius would be able to feel her anger. "What matters is that you didn't tell me!" She ran her tongue over her lips, thinking of what to say next after holding in her thoughts for so long. "Are you sure you're even ready for a relationship right now? After everything that you and Paige went through?" The sound of disappointment was apparent in her tone.

Harley stayed silent for a few seconds, processing all of the words being thrown at her. She felt terrible. "I didn't want to tell you right away because I knew you would overreact. I do think I'm ready for a relationship, I'm completely fine," She lied, "Becky has been there for me and has helped me through a lot. She makes me really happy." Now, she was telling the truth.

The young woman's previous relationship with former WWE superstar, Paige - Charlotte's best friend at the time - didn't end up the way they both had envisioned. Charlotte can admit that the two of them did work, they complemented each other so well. Everyone praised how they were destined for greatness and it was a huge upset for everyone in the locker room once they had heard about the two breaking up.

Harley was heartbroken. There was a long period of time where no one but Charlotte and Becky would see or hear from her because she isolated herself from everyone and everything, she almost put her job with WWE at stake.

Charlotte couldn't just let her little sister run off with her best friend again, she refused to let her get hurt... again. "The breakup was roughly less than four months ago and you're telling me that you're okay? That's bullshit, Harley." This was only filler conversation that Charlotte was using to allow Harley to provide information. Charlotte wasn't going to make any progress - this she knew, but didn't want to admit - with her sister without first acknowledging how she really felt about the situation. Both sisters are in the wrong, neither one of them wanting to truly recognize it.

The younger sister felt her phone vibrate from the space between her tee-shirt and her yoga pants, the designated place for where she puts her phone when she doesn't have pockets. "Yes, Ashley! I've fine!" She almost shouted, nervously glancing around the café, hoping that she wasn't drawing any attention to herself and her sister. "I'm okay, trust me." Briefly, she shot her head down towards her phone that was now within her grasp. It was Becky.

Hey you. Are we meeting for lunch?

Charlotte nodded her head, trying really hard not to slap her sister's phone right out of her hands. She knew exactly who it was and quite frankly, she was not in the mood to speak with her or her sister right now. She impatiently waited for her sister's thumbs to stop sliding across the screen.

Trouble with Char, not sure.

"Listen, Ashley," Harley started, "I know you're mad, but..." She stared out the window at the pigeons on the other side of the street where their rental car had been parked. "I think I really like Becky, and I think I have for a really long time. It's not something new-"

Shit. Do you need me?

With the roll of her eyes, Charlotte dramatically threw her napkin down and pushed herself out from the table in order to stand up and leave, "And I'm just supposed to know this automatically, right?" The barista shook her head as well. Subconsciously, the quiet woman found herself eavesdropping. "You never think about what affect your actions are going to have on me! I'm leaving."

I'm almost at the café.

"Wait, Ashley!" Harley, called out to her sister, stretching her arm out in front of her only to have her fingers brush the flannel fabric that hung from Charlotte's waist. Harley wasn't paying enough attention to her phone to notice Becky's message.

As Charlotte stormed off in pursuit of the exit, her eyes focused on one of the cars parked near the door and it appeared to be way too familiar. She watched as a woman shut the driver's door closed and twirled the car keys on her index finger. Her fiery orange hair was enough to cause anyone to look in her direction. To no surprise, it was Becky Lynch.

"Hell," Charlotte cursed as she stopped in her tracks and placed her hands on her hips in defeat, looking anxiously around the coffee shop, "Is there a back exit to this place?"

Before the barista could point the blonde towards the door, Becky entered the café with her hands raised in defence. Everyone around the three women began to catch wind of the situation and were all eager to know what was going on. "Char, can we please talk about this?" The Irish woman felt ashamed with herself, but managed to keep her composure. She couldn't risk losing her cool or bursting out into tears or anything of the sort with so many people around and so many instant cameras within their fingertips.

"That's not happening." The Flair stated simply with a breath, "Move." She stepped past her best friend, placed a twenty dollar bill down on the counter in front of the barista, and left the building.

The entire room fell silent and Harley felt as if it was eating her alive, she couldn't believe what had just transpired. Becky's arms fell down by her sides in defeat and she sighed. "Well that didn't go as planned." She anxiously ran her hands through her hair as she paced a few steps forward and backward. "What happened?"

"She already knew." Harley announced in a huff as she got up out of her chair to follow her sister. "I feel like shit for not telling her sooner." She managed to mutter before turning away from the Irish woman.

Becky cursed under her breath as she watched her girlfriend walk out of the café. She smiled awkwardly at the customers who were still standing around and waiting to see if anything else will happen. "Nothing to see here, everyone! Continue on with your day."

As Harley crossed the street, she could see her sister getting into the rental car. She rushed over and managed to get in the passengers side before Charlotte could pull out of the parking spot. "Ashley, please talk to me!"

"Why should I?" Charlotte nearly shouted, tears shielding her vision almost instantly. "Why should I talk to you when you have no respect for me?" Becky jogged over to the car, knocking softly on the window for Harley to unlock the door. "I don't want to talk to her either."

The Irish woman filed into the back of the car and shuffled into the middle seat in order to see both of the women's faces. "Char, we planned on sitting down and speaking with you... This wasn't supposed to happen like this."

"Well it happened." The blonde sniffled hard, trying to erase any trace of her crying. She was trying to blink back a few tears as hard as she could. "Did it not register in your head that your last girlfriend was my best friend, and now you're doing the exact same thing again?

"You never cared to spend any time with me unless it was with Paige... And you said that Becky was there for you after the breakup," She sniffled, "I was always there for you, but you never noticed. I tried to comfort you and help you feel loved, but you didn't care. You were worried about getting her back as far as I was concerned, but to my surprise, you were screwing my best friend."

Charlotte loves her little sister more than anything in the world and it would break her to know that they were growing further apart again, just like what happened during her last relationship. Taking a deep breath, the blonde speaks again, "When you and Paige broke things off, that basically cut any ties I had with her, even as a wrestling partner... And I don't want to do the same with Rebecca, too."

Harley swallowed hard and mentally punched herself in the arm. She knew Charlotte was right and she knew that she should have realized this a long time ago.

"Charlotte, you're never going to lose me." Becky placed a hand on her best friend's shoulder. "I know how protective you are of Harley, but don't worry, I'm always going to have her back even when you're not there. I love her, Charlotte."

"Ashley, I'm so fucking sorry." The Flair sister apologized as tears streamed down her face. This time when she reached out for her sister's hand, Charlotte took it. "And I know just an apology isn't enough. I really hurt you and I never noticed what I was doing. I should have been more careful. You don't have to forgive me right now, but just know that I'm really sorry for making you feel that way."

A silence filled the car as the two sisters stared at each other, unsure of what to say next. Both of their eyes were red and filled with tears. Charlotte tried to breathe to stop from crying, but as she did, she let out a sob and Harley instantly reached over to the driver's seat and embraced her older sister in a hug. Becky couldn't help but smile that the two of them.

"I love you." Charlotte mumbled into her sister's shoulder, barely audible to the Irish woman sitting in the backseat. Harley whispered the same words back and the two held each other for a few moments longer before pulling apart and wiping away their tears. "But next time," Charlotte started, a smug smile stretching across her lips, "Don't wait to tell me."

The three laughed.

AUTHOR'S NOTE
I owe you, the biggest apology, Twinkel52. I've had this in my drafts for so long and I hadn't written your username down as to who the request was from, so ultimately I forgot and put it on the shelf. I searched through every chapter of this story multiple times, trying to find where you requested this imagine and it never occurred to me to check my private messages, which was where you asked me. I am so sorry, I feel like such a horrible person for promising you something and never going through with it until now.

It's been over a year, I feel terrible. I don't even know if you're still on Wattpad. You said on your profile that your new account is @Doomfly-Hiveling, but when I clicked the name, there wasn't an account there...

Also, I hope you don't mind that I added a name in for the main character because I was having a hard time keeping up with the "y/n" and was getting confused with pronouns. It wasn't sounding good, so she needed a name.

So if you ever come back on here and see this, know that I'm sorry and I hope you can forgive me! Always feel free to request anything else. I'm really sorry.
