(Thursday, June 27)
I was woken up by soft knocks on the door. I wasn't used to be waken up so softly so I figured out that I wasn't home because Felix would just walk in and jump on me. But quickly I set the link that I was in Chan's home.
"Luna", I heard a voice from behind the door say.
"Yeah", I said as I stretched my back after sitting upright.
"You awake?" he asked in a soft tone.
"Yeah."
"Breakfast's ready", he said, behind the closed door.
"Ow alright. I'll freshen up and I'll come downstairs in a sec", I said back to him as I left the bed.
"Okey", and I heard his footsteps soften as he walked further away from the door.
I quickly walked to the bathroom and did whatever I had to, to not look like a mess. I quickly changed into my own clothing and walked downstairs to be greeted with with the sweet scent of pancakes, my favourite.
"Good morning!" Chan said, breathing heavily while he was running after Lucas who was holding Chan's phone.
"Good morning to you too", I said with a smile, because Chan couldn't get his hands on his own phone. "Where's Hannah?"
"Already in the kitchen, she's waiting for us- LUCAS GIVE ME MY PHONE!" he screamed as Lucas just kept on running to the kitchen now finally able to take his phone, making me laugh.
I walked behind them to the kitchen and saw the table was already set. Everybody took their place and the only empty seat was in front of Chan, so that's where I sat.
"Good morning", Hannah, who was seated next to Chan, said with a big smile on her face.
"Good morning", I said back to her, returning the smile.
She just smiled and took a pancake on her plate and started eating on which Chan also took one followed by Lucas. So I ended up taking one too.
After eating and cleaning up Chan and me were seated in the living room, whilst Lucas was playing with his ukulele in a corner. Hannah went straight upstairs probably watching a movie.
"What did you say to Hannah yesterday? She seemed really happy today", Chan said while quirking up an eyebrow.
"I told her that we'll do a girls night, just the two of us. She's a little sad because your parents are never home. She says she loves both you and Lucas but she can't tell you everything because you're a guy. She wants to open up about it to her mom, but she never has time apparently and to make her feel better I told her we could do a girls night at my place this Saturday. She looked really happy about my suggestion and her smile was too precious", I said.
"Thank you", he said while looking down.
"For what?" I asked.
"For caring about Hannah. I know it's the hardest for her since mom was the only girl she could communicate with but she is never home. She doesn't really tell me about her feelings and as far as I know she doesn't really have a lot of friends that she's close with. She keeps everything inside and sometimes I have to dig a grave to find out how she feels. I'm just happy that she can rely on you. That's what I'm thankful about", he said giving me a small smile while Lucas's ukulele sounds were being heard on the background.
"Oh, well I'm happy that I'm able to help. I'll do this with her whenever I can. I have a request though", I said to him.
"And that is?" he asked.
"When Hannah is at my place, can Felix stay here. It's just so that she can feel comfortable in the house without worrying that anyone will see her", I said to him but before he could answer Lucas came running to him.
"My ukulele's cord broke!" he said with a whine.
"Let me see", Chan said as Lucas showed his ukulele. "Hmm, look in the first drawer there should be some extra cords. Bring them to me and I'll fix it for you."
Lucas ran out of the door, probably to the drawer, and came back with a small bag with cords and everything inside. He gave it to Chan and he started playing with the cords and tried to replace the broken one.
My eyes moved swiftly from his hands to his face. I mustn't be the only person that found him attractive. His face features could attract any human being. He stood out, he had something special. Something loveable. Something that made you just like him.
"All done", he said and gave the ukulele back to Lucas. "What?"
"Nothing", I said turning my gaze away from him after realising that I was just lost in thoughts while looking at him.
"Anyways, you were saying."
"Yes, can Felix sleep over here when Hannah stays over at my place?" I asked him.
"Sure, that should be no problem", he said as he leaned forward placing his elbow on his knees.
"I think I should head home. I don't trust Felix alone at home", I said.
"I'll drop you off, let me take my keys", he said, already standing up.
"No no, you really don't have to. I'll call Felix. You already did enough for me", I said as I took out phone out of my back pocket.
"No need for that while my car is here." He said still walking away to get his keys.
"You really don't have to. Look I'm already calling Felix", I said as I tried to find Felix's name in my phone to call him.
But before I could even find Felix's name Chan suddenly just snatched the phone out of my hand. "Sad that I have your phone now."
I just sat there, looking at him wide eyed. Without hesitation I stood up and ran after him. "Give me my phone back."
"No", he said while laughing loudly, running through the house trying to get away from me.
"Chan, come on. Give it back!" I said while running after him.
"Come and get it then", he said while waving the phone in the air while running to the stairs.
"Stop acting like a child come on. We're grown people!", I said while running after him to the stairs.
He was about to go up the stairs but he turned around with his full body to see if I was right behind him and I was just quick enough to grab his shirt before he could run back up and pulled him back but soon I realised that that wasn't a good idea. He slowly lost his balance and his body was slowly coming closer to mine, but I wasn't quick enough to help.
Instead of him reaching out his hands to support himself, he pulled me closer and turned in such a way that he landed on the ground with my head against his chest and his arms firmly around my shoulder.
I could feel his heart beating a bit faster, probably out of fear cause I was going through the exact same only I wasn't just scared but also embarrassed like hell.
"You okey?" he asked while tapping my shoulder lightly.
"Mhm", I said not daring to raise my head because I probably looked like a tomato now.
He unwrapped his arms from around my shoulder and just put his hands on my shoulder and raised my upper body a bit.
"Still want Felix to come pick you up?" he asked with a smug smile as he saw that my face was red.
"I think I'm good", I said while standing up and running up the stairs. "I'm gonna grab something from the room", I said trying to escape the moment.
Why me? Why always me? Everything was going so great till now and this had to happen. I quickly walked to the room and closed the door behind me. I walked to the mirror and saw my burning red face. Get a grip on yourself Luna.
There wasn't anything that I had to take, I just ran away from him not wanting to confront him with what just happened.
I walked to Hannah's room to say goodbye to her and went downstairs, trying not to think about before. But the moment I saw him I could feel the embarrassment but I tried not to show it.
"You ready?" He said as he swirled the keys in his hands.
"Yeah", I said back and both of us went to the car to drive to my place.
"Thanks for the ride", I said in a silent voice as I unbuckled my seatbelt.
"No problem", he said.
I opened the door but before I could step out he took me by the wrist and stopped me. "Wait."
I looked at his way waiting for him to finish what he was about to say. "Yes?"
He placed his hand in his pocket and took out something. When I looked closely I saw that it was my phone. "Your phone."
"Right, thank you", I said as I took my phone and went out of the car.
"Don't forgot, tomorrow at one. I'll come pick you up for the dance practice", he said.
"Okey. Just send me a text when you're on the way", I said and waved him a goodbye.
I walked to the door and knocked on it hoping that this time someone would open it. The door opened and I was greeted with a smiley Felix. Seemed suspicious but I tried to ignore it.
I turned around and gave Chan one last glance and closed the door behind me and from the window I could see that he left.
"Why are you so smiley?" I said to Felix as I walked to the living room. But when I walked in I saw Tiffany sitting on the couch, smiling even brighter than Felix. "Why is Tiffany here and why is she smiling even brighter than Felix?"
"We have to tell you something", Felix said as he placed himself next to Tiffany.
I sat down on the couch next to it and faced them. "Please don't tell me you guys are a thing", I said looking disgusted.
"Ew no", both of them said at the same time.
"But it's probably gonna leave the same reaction as to the one you have now", Tiffany said.
"You guys are scaring me. What did you do?" I said.
"Where did you sleep last night?" Tiffany asked.
"At Chan's place?" I said more questionable than a statement.
"And you think it was coincidence?" Felix said.
At first I didn't get what they were trying to say but soon I realised where this was going. "You-"
"You should thank us", Felix said in defence.
"My own best friend and my own little brother teamed up and put me through embarrassment and let me stay at Chan's house, on purpose. By not picking up their phones?" I said giving them a death glare. I breathed in and out to calm myself down, but the amount of furiousness in me was probably unlimited. "I give you guys five seconds to run."
"One...", I closed my eyes
No one ran yet, they were probably trying to figure out what I just said.
"Two...", I opened my eyes again and I glared at them.
"Three..."
"Four..."
"Five", I slowly stood up.
With a blink of the eye they literally shot up and started running. Tiffany to the door and Felix upstairs.
Felix was my victim. Stairs were never a good option, I was faster than him when it came down to going up the stairs.
I literally snatched him by the shirt before he could even take the second step on the stairs and pulled him back.
I held him from his ear and dragged him back to the living room pushing him on the couch. I gave him a death glare yet again and looked at how he was looking at me, I could tell that he was terrified.
"Felix Felix Felix. Such a big mistake of you to do me dirty like this", I said shaking my head.
"W-what about Tiffany, she is the one that planned all of this", he said while pointing outside, where Tiffany ran to.
"She's gone. Her turn will come soon. Now tell me. Was it necessary to put me through this?" I said as I sat down right in front of him on the coffee table.
"I, uhh. You see, uhh. Tiffany thought that uhh-"
"Stop stuttering and tell me."
"Tiffany thought it would bring the two of you together", he said and put his hands in front of him in defence.
"And you, after all this time of knowing and doing nothing for it, decided to help Tiffany and make me sleep at his place?" I asked him.
"It-it worked though." he said.
"Felix, what's up you sound so scared."
"Wouldn't you if I almost threatened you!" he said looking more terrified.
"Hmm, I don't call this threatening. To make it up, you'll have to do things for me", I said crossing my legs. "You once decided to help now you'll have to keep helping."
"Please keep me out of this, it was a one time thing", he said.
"Too late. First thing you'll do for me: bring me to Tiffany", I said as I stood up to take my jacket, trying to keep myself from laughing. Normally I was never this serious and it was funny to see how Felix was so scared, even though I was partly just playing.
"Why are you talking so serious!" Felix said a bit loud.
"Now now, we don't want to get me mad do we? Take the keys and bring me to Tiffany", I said as I tried to hold in my laughter even more. Yes I was furious but seeing Felix scared like this made me want to laugh so badly.
Felix took the keys and left the house with me to the car. We drove to Tiffany's place and Felix stopped right in front of her house. "You wait inside the car, it won't take long."
"Don't kill her, you love her right?" Felix said.
"Felix I'm not a murderer, I'm just pissed. Now wait here", I said losing all the sassiness I had.
"Why do you sound so different now?" Felix said totally confused.
"Come on I was just messing with you", I said as I closed the car door.
I walked to the door and knocked on it in the hope that it was Tiffany who opened the door and not her parents.
The door opened and to my luck it was Tiffany who opened the door and looked at me with wide eyes.
"Surprise", I said with a smirk and an eyebrow up. "Did you really think you could escape?"
