Alex POV

------*-------*-------*------

It has been a week since Jenna was in the hospital, and king Jace has warmed up to me more.  I was currently in the training field, while Jenna was with her mother. No one would train with me as they still weren't sure that I could be trusted.

"What is he doing here?" One of the younger trainers asked. "He is a rogue! He can't be trusted!"

"Shut it, Greg." King Jace  sighed rubbing his temples. "I don't have the time for this today. If you are not happy about it go have your period somewhere else."

This comment caused everyone else to snicker.

"Now that I have finished dealing with that. Who is willing to train with Alex?" King Jace asked

Nobody spoke up or even looked at me. My wolf growled at this. 'Just because I was Ryan's son and a rouge doesn't mean I am evil!" He hissed.

I just ignored him as I looked at all of the wolves that I was meant to be training with. I heard Jace hiss and sigh.

"Fine since no one is brave enough I will just have to do it myself! The rest of you pair up and practice attacking and defense."

As soon as he had finished everyone paired up and began.

"So...Alex? What do you know? What are your strengths?" King Jace asked.

"Um...I don't know." I said scratching my head. "I guess I am good at tracking."

He nodded his head as he thought.  "Yes, but how much training  have you been given?"

"Um only basic training. My mother wouldn't let me train to much. Kept saying along the lines of I wouldn't need it."

"Okay, then I think it is best for me to test you first."

I gulped.

"Ow!" I hissed as King Jace pushed me into the dirt....again!

"You need to learn to ignore distractions."  King Jace said.

"But all I said was the others have already gone then you flipped me over and tackled me face first into the dirt!"

This just caused him to laugh.  "Well, your fighting in wolf form has improved. But we still haven't tested your wolf form. Maybe-"

"Alpha!" Greg the trainer from before called running in from the forest.

"Greg? What is wrong?" King Jace asked.

"Rogues...on...eastern...boarder..." Greg gasped.

This comment caused me to freeze. Rogues? It couldn't be my mother. Could it?
