My feelings,
Used to be scattered across the floor,
Like roses with no water, left to die.
But ever since I met you,
I began to slowly pick up these feelings one by one,
Willing myself to evaluate and understand each and every one.
Now I am finally able to cry.
It feels so good,
To feel the water seeping in my stems once again and now, I am a bouquet of roses, Slowly gaining back their color.
And instead of wondering if I'll get my humanity back, I can now know that Its a when I get my humanity back, I can be my best self for the world, myself, and for him. But all the while hoping that with the pain of numbness I will never again suffer.
