They were walking near the river when out of nowhere, a basket floated by. The couple ran to the river bank and picked up the basket. There, a baby lay. There was also a note.
'This is Reyna. We want nothing to do with her. Do whatever you please with her. Drown her for all we care. We don't need nor want her,' the note said.
So the couple adopted the child and went home, not knowing who the baby truly belonged to.
