When you got home, Jake was sitting at the table, reading over a script that he had been sent. He seemed pretty enthralled but you knew that your news would be better than any script. You locked the door behind you, then sat across from him, staring at him until he finally took his eyes off the paper then looked at you. "Have a good day?" He asked. You nodded.
"I have some news, Jake." You told him. He just hummed and his eyes went back down to the page. He used his pen to jot down a little note where he left off then finally gave you attention. "I went to the Doctor."
"Is everything okay?" He asked, immediately growing concern.
"Everything's great." You assured. "But I wanted to tell you that ... remember the conversation we had a few months ago about having kids?"
"Yes?" He said, eyebrows raising, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
"I stopped taking my birth control two months ago and I'm ovulating again so - so we should try. We can try. Right now."
Jake threw the pen and papers down, jumped up from his chair and helped you get to your feet. "Right now," He purred into your ear and you both eagerly made your way to the bedroom.
