A close friend of Queen drummer Roger Taylor, Ella Burke is a 26-year-old doctor, struggling to learn about HIV/AIDS. In 1990, after not seeing Roger or the other Queen members for three years, Ella learns of lead singer Freddie Mercury's secret: he has AIDS and his life is slipping away.
