"Hey look it's Alex Martinez," someone said, making my heart skip a beat.My head shot up, nearly giving me whiplash. A split second later I realized that the boy was pointing to the TV in the hotel lobby.
"Alex Martinez is back home in Los Angeles. Yesterday, her close friend, Jake Prescott, posted a vlog on his YouTube channel showing the singer surprising him and his friends. Earlier today, Alex posted a picture on her Instagram saying that she would be releasing new music soon. She also told her fans to be prepared for her to reappear in Jakes vlogs." the reporter says.
She really was gone.
I shook my head. I needed to forget about her. But I couldn't get her out of my head. My instagram feed was filled with her pictures.Her name trending across social media platforms. Magazines had her on their front covers. Everywhere I turned, I saw her. She had surrounded my life. Inside and out.

I scrolled through the trending searches before clicking on her Instagram. I went as far back as I could so I could see all her old pictures.
I felt even worse about what had happened. She probably hated me. Me being stupid, I continued to look through her pictures. I couldn't get enough of her beautiful face. I had her. And now I lost her.

As shitty as this book is, I'm really proud of it because I was absolute crap at writing. I have several story drafts saved that are 10x worse than this. This is one of my favorite works. The plot line is absolute madness and goes all over the place but I love stories like that. Plot twists are my favorite. Thank you so much again and I'll c u in the next chappie ❤.
