At Finn and Rachel's wedding, Finn had told Bas and I that he wouldn't mind looking after Blaine for us so we could go on a date or do whatever. However, we asked if he would like to take Brittany too and he said 'yes' so he is going to be in for more challenging things than he expected, probably.
"You ready to go see uncle Finn and auntie Rachel?" I coo at Blaine as I changed his nappy.
"Ah" he squeals happily.
"How do you think Brittany's going to react?" Sebastian asks me as he packs a bag together for Blaine.
"I think she'll cry" I tell him as I got Blaine dressed into a grey and white long sleeve Mickey Mouse dungarees and some grey and white Mickey Mouse socks.
"She probably will but I think that she might not, I mean she knows who they both are, I just think she'll be a bit scared"
"Hmm probably, I suppose we'll find out when we get there" I smile at him as I pick Blaine up.
"That's true"
"A baba" Blaine stops us as he points to his crib.
"You can't go back to bed, silly" I chuckle.
"Ehh" he whines as he carried on pointing to something in his crib.
"You want this, bud?" Bas pulls out one of his little teddies that he has in there.
"Ah, you wanted a teddy, that was random" we head downstairs and made sure we had enough in the bag for Blaine. Santana soon shows up and Brittany was wearing a pink and grey Minnie Mouse dungarees with some pink and grey 'I love Minnie' socks.
"I wouldn't be surprised if we even packed the same stuff in their bags, but I suppose we won't know until Finn or Rachel opens them" I chuckle.
"Come on then kiddos" Bas says. We load the car up and head down to Finn and Rachel's place.
"What do you think Britt's gonna do?" I ask San.
"Cry" she shrugs.
"Really?"
"Yeah, it's a definite" she says.
"She used to be ok with staying with me or Bas, maybe even the grandparents, does she know where we're going?"
"I know, I don't know what it is, but yeah she knows where we're going" we soon reach Finn and Rachel's house and bundle out of the car.
"Hey guys" Rachel greets us and I swear I saw a little baby bump. We all looked at each other but didn't say a thing.
"What's wrong?" She asks.
"Nothing, we're a little worried about Brittany" San speaks up as we head inside.
"Oh, why?"
"We don't know how she's going to react"
"Well, you can stay a for a few minutes if you want?" Rachel suggests.
"No, because it will only make things worse so we'll head out now" we try and say bye to the kids but Brittany starts crying.
"I'll be back in a little while, ok?" San hugs and kisses her.
"Buh buh" Blaine waved at us as he sat in Finn's arms.
"Blaine's ready for us to go" Sebastian chuckles.
"If she doesn't stop within an hour or so, call me and I'll come pick her up" San says.
"She'll be fine" Rachel picks her up and Brittany continued to sob as we left.
*Finn's PoV*
They soon left and Brittany was sobbing her eyes out.
"It's ok sweetie, why don't we go see what's there to play with, we brought some toys for you both" I rub her back up and down as we wandered into the living room. I set Blaine down and he wanders off to the toy box whilst Brittany sat in Rachel's lap.
"Ah" Blaine squeals as he came over to me and showed me a toy.
"What'd you got, bud?" I coo as he passed it to me but he just babbled away.
"Brittany, sweetheart, it's ok, mummy will be back very soon, ok?" Rachel tells her.
"No, wan' mummy" she sobs before kicking off.
"Ok, just leave her, she'll come play when she wants to play" I tell Rach as I help her out by taking Brittany from her and placing her in the kitchen for now where she can have her tantrum.
"Ok bud, it's just us" I say as I sat with Blaine and he came and sat on my lap. Rachel soon joined in and we just sit and play with Blaine and soon Brittany had calmed down and came and joined us.
"Do you feel better after all that?" Rachel asks her.
"Uh huh" she sniffles.
"Ok"
"Wook" Britt shows us one of her toys.
"Yeah, watch, you have to do this" I show her.
"Woah" she got all excited. We play with the kids for a bit until I got up and started making lunch.
"Ah" Blaine whines for me as he followed me.
"It's ok bud, I'm just in the kitchen" I tell him. I finish making lunch before placing Blaine in his highchair and Rachel does the same to Brittany. I cut up Blaine's lunch as Sebastian was telling me how Blaine has a thing for shoving mouthfuls into his mouth so we had to watch him very carefully as well as watching him closely as he also has a thing for climbing things and running around on them.
"Here we are babe" I say to Rach as I place hers in front of her.
"Thanks" we eat our lunch and made sure Blaine wasn't shoving mouthful of food into his mouth.
"Is it good, Britt?" I ask her.
"Uh huh" she smiles at me.
"Dwink 'ease" she asks.
"Of course" I say as I get up and rummage through her bag that San had brought over so I thought I'd rummage through Blaine's as well incase he wanted a drink and both both were very similar to each other's that I couldn't help but chuckle a little.
"Honey? What's so funny?" I hear Rachel call out.
"Urm, Blaine's and Britt's bag are almost the exact same" I tell her as I came through with two sippy cups.
"Really?" She chuckles.
"Yeah, if they need a change, get a nappy out of both bags and just look" I say to her as I passed Brittany her pink sippy cup and placed Blaine's blue sippy cup on his tray.
"Ah" Blaine squeals before picking up his cup and drinking from it. We soon cleaned the kids and the highchairs up before letting them out to play again.
"Rach, I'll clean up, you go sit down and relax and preferably watch Blaine" I kiss her.
"Are you sure?" She asks.
"Absolutely" I watch as she walked into the living room and immediately went to play with the kids, I smiled to myself, thinking how such a wonderful mum she will be one day. I clean the kitchen up, making sure things were put away and the highchairs were folded and put away for now until dinner so no children were tripping over them.
"Who's ready for a nappy change?" I happily cheer as I walked into the living room.
"Ah" Blaine happily squeals, although he probably didn't quite understand what a 'nappy change' was.
"Ok, you, let's change your nappy" I say as I picked him up and threw him in the air whilst Rachel went and got nappies.
"I see what you mean" she chuckles as I lay Blaine down as she passed me a nappy, that was when I realised I didn't know how to change a nappy quite yet.
"Urr, Rach, a little help?" I ask her.
"Of course you don't know how to change a nappy" she chuckles as she came over and helped me.
"There we are bud, uncle Finn knows how to change a nappy" I tell Blaine but he just laughs as he rolled over and helped himself up.
"Bye" I joke.
"Britt, sweetie, shall we change your nappy now?" Rachel coos.
"No, mummy" she whines.
"We don't know how long mummy's going to be sweetheart and we don't want you sitting in that the whole time" I try and reassure her.
"Wan' mummy" she cries and Rachel and I just look at each other.
"I'll call her and see how long they're going to be"
"You gonna stay with uncle Finn whilst I put Blaine down for a nap?" Rachel asks her.
"Tay" she sniffles as she took my hand once I held it out for her.
"Come on sweetie, let's see if we can call mummy" I sit down on the sofa and place her on my lap and put my phone on speaker. I have a word with San and she said they'll probably be another 15-20 minutes, we still didn't want Brittany to sit in a dirty nappy but San told us to just leave it as much as its heartbreaking to do so, we didn't want to force her.
"Is he fussing?" I ask Rachel as she came back down with Blaine.
"No, I can't put the crib up"
"Alright, let's go" we all head upstairs and I set Blaine's portable crib up that had a changing table on it.
Rachel lays him in it with his three cloths and a blanket.
We say night to him before heading back down and sitting with Brittany. We soon passed her, her cloths and wrapped her in a blanket before she fell asleep, cuddled into my side.
"Bless her" Rachel coos as she took some photos.
"I literally do not want to move" I whisper as I didn't quite know how long she had been out for. The door soon goes and she stirs a little so Rachel went and answered it.
"She's sleeping" I hear Rachel tell them.
"Oh ok" they come in and they all coo at her.
"Is Blaine down?" I ask Finn.
"Yeah, he's down"
"I'll see if I can change her" San says as she carefully removes the blanket. She then picks her up and quickly puts her to her shoulder before taking her into the bathroom.
*Kurt's PoV*
"Was Blaine ok?" I ask Finn.
"He was absolutely fine, he was babbling away and everything" he says.
"Well, thanks for looking after them both"
"No problem, anytime" Santana soon comes out with Brittany still asleep.
"She's got a bit of a rash, I don't understand why she won't let anybody change her, she used to before" San sighs as she sat down with Britt in her lap. We have a discussion about it and we still couldn't figure out why so San said she'll speak to Brittany about it later at home. The kids soon woke up and Blaine went straight to Finn as soon as I brought him down.
"Ok, can we please now address the elephant in the room?" Sebastian asks. Finn and Rachel look at each other and smile.
"Sure, so we found out about 3 months ago, that Rachel is pregnant" Finn announces.
"That's brilliant you guys" we congratulate them.
"Baby?" Brittany asks as she points to Rachel's stomach.
"That's right" Rachel coos.
"You're gonna have a little cousin"
"Do you want a boy or a girl?"
"We don't mind, as long as it's happy and healthy" we soon order a pizza in and have dinner round Finn and Rachel's before getting the kids into their pyjamas. Blaine wore a blue and white Winnie the Pooh pyjama set and Brittany wore the pink and grey Winnie the Pooh set.
"Ok, say bye to uncle Finn and auntie Rachel" we tell the kids.
"Buh buh" Blaine waves at them.
"Bye sweetie" we say bye and thank you for looking after the kids before putting them in their pink and blue cardigans and giving them their pink and blue dummies.
We say bye to Santana and Brittany and get into our separate cars before heading home. Blaine babbled half way home and then went quiet so we assumed he fell asleep.
"He's out" Sebastian chuckles as he carefully gets him out of his seat. We take him upstairs and take his cardigan off before making sure his nappy wasn't dirty. We place him in his crib with his blanket and cloths before kissing him night and leaving the room. We soon get ready for bed ourselves and tucked under the duvet.
"Today was a great day, I'm glad we did it" Sebastian sighs happily.
"Me too" we kiss each other night before finally falling asleep.
