The sound of ticking woke me up.
Not celestial birds like I wanted, fucking ticking.
"What the-?" I mumbled lifting me head up from my pillow. My hair covered my eyes and I flicked it away. "What is that noise!" I yelled out to nobody. I let my head fall again and groaned, that's when the curtains opened and the sun came flowing in. "WHAT THE FU-" I couldn't finish my sentence.
"SWEAR JAR!" The door busted open, revealing Ashton holding a nerf gun. I couldn't help but scream and hide myself under the covers, noticing that hunter wasn't on his side of the bed . My motherly instincts kicked in and I sat up.
Wrong choice, as I sat up Ashton immediately started firing at me. My hands went up to cover my face.
"StOP yOu dIckHeaD !!"
"Double swear Mrs. Palacios!"
Ashton stopped shooting so my hands droped. I glared at him as he strolled from the door to my bed. He gave me a big smile and got close to my face. Anxiety was building up in my stomach and I could feel the air temperature rising.
He was about five inches from my face when he stopped. Ashton stared at me intently, green eyes going from my lips to my eyes. I sucked in a breath and my head started spinning when he came closer.
"good morning sleepy head." And then he walked out.
What a fucking tease. I groaned and got up out of bed. I didn't want to but my hunger made me.
After breakfast, we decided we would go out somewhere. Bug of course had the last word. I also found out that they had installed automatic curtains to open while I was gone.
"What's it gonna be big boy?" Ashton said
"Aquarium or Zoo?" I chimed in.
Hunter pretended to be thoughtful, he held his hand to his chin making a thinking face. I couldn't help but giggle at my little kid.
"You know I strongly dislike ocean creatures baby." I told him with a puppy dog face
"bUt I wanna see an octopus! And guess what, there's a new tunnel" Ashton whined
Hunter stared at both of us intently, green irises bouncing between both of us. He suddenly stood and hugged me.
"I love you mommy-" he started. My heart swelled and I knew we were going to the zoo. "pero yo quiero a ver a fishy" Ashton let out a loud laugh.
Or not.
He looked up at me and giggled. "You don have to gib me a cookie today, I know you don't like the sea cweatures" then he let go of me and grabbed Ashton's hand.
Ashton smirked at me and I huffed but my smile on my face was evident.
"aqUarIum it is !" ash said grabbing his keyes. Hunter was at the door already, yelling at us to hurry up.

Two hours later I was standing in front of this tunnel thing that I refuse to go into.
"C'mon azul!! It's nothing" Ashton urged, holding hunters hand.
I let out a sarcastic laugh "Oh sure! Just a fu-"
"Sweah jar" hunter said
"Freaking, you didn't let me finish. frEakiNg glass wall above me that has sharks on the other side!" I said exasperated. "I'll wait here, thanks." And crossed my arms.
They looked at each other for a few seconds, then back at me.
"Fine" they said simultaneously. "Scaredy cat" said Ashton in a sing songy voice. I rolled me eyes but I let a smile take over my face.
"Dammit you two." I huffed walking towards them and into the tunnel.
"yAaay! Mommy is coming!" Hunter said, dimples popping. "you said a bad word, but it's okay becwas you're coming." He then lead the way through the horrific tunnel.
After the very horrifying tunnel, we kept strolling around the aquarium.
"Niall called. Just checked up." Ashton said as we looked at the jellyfish. W stood next to each other, bug in the middle of us holding Ashton's left hand and my right one. "We FaceTimed actually,"
"Yup, uncle Niall show me how he play his gwuitar. He said he show me to play like him" hunter said looking up at me. "He said we should go see him and then we have a boys night out" bug said while letting go of our hands to make his little fists for the last part.
Ashton chuckled at him then looked at me, "do you think we should go, since you're back. For the week?" He said.
"Where is he at right now?" I asked him.
"Lake Tahoe, he said he'd rent a cabin for us. It'd be fun" He shrugged. "There's snow still, bug will have fun."
Hunter had gone to the glass of the stingrays. I walked over to him.
"Baby, do you wanna go to uncle Niall's for a week? Va ver nieve !" He turned his head like a flash and started jumping.
"Si si si ! I never been to snow in my whooole life" He said spreading his arms out to enunciate his words, then clapping his hands together. Well, you've only been alive for four years buddy. I laughed at my baby.
Ashton spoke from behind me. "Alright kiddo, vamos a el nevada !" in his bad spanish. I snorted and turned to him "No hables español, practice first, you sound horrible."

We got home after stopping for ice cream, I had to carry hunter to our room since he had fallen asleep in the car. I layed him down on our bed and took of his shoes, covered him with his favorite blanket, then i sat on our bed next to him. I admired his little face. His slightly light skin- even though mine was fairly tanned- and long curly eyelashes like mine, his curly brown hair that was like his dads.
I looked at my son. The one that I raised. And I found so much of harry. His nose, his hair, his dimple, his eyes. But I also saw myself in him too. His lips, his eyelashes, his character, his spanish.
A sad smile placed itself on my face. I kissed his forehead, got up and grabbed my phone, pairing it to our small Bluetooth speaker to play some soft piano for him. He loves music, and Mozart makes kids smart. What can I say, I'm a mother.
I chuckled to myself. And turned the knob to the door.
"Mommy?" I heard his small voice call
"Yes baby?"
"Can you take a nap with me, and cuddle ?" his locks popped up from under his blanket. I nodded and called out to Ashton.
"WE'RE TAKING A NAP, DON't BOTHeR US !" then I went and layed down on our bed. He slept on the right side, funny because harry would sleep on that side too. I pushed harry out of my head and brought my little boy closer to me.
He rested his head on my chest and I ran my hands through his soft hair until I heard his breathing slow and his body relax into mine. Then I fell asleep too.

I was 16 when I met him. He was going to turn 17.
My mother worked for his family, she cleaned their home.
They lived in a huge house. My eyes filled with awe the first time I saw their home. Coming from a middle class family, I had never been to one of these fancy houses. My mother had brought me to help her complete the cleaning.
I wouldn't have gone if I knew he would be there.
I was told to got to the storage room and get some of the liquid soap we needed to clean the carpets of one of the rooms. When I was walking down the hallway in the house I heard voices. They sounded like a bunch of guys hanging out.
I grimaced because I hoped they wouldn't be in my way. I walked quickly to the storage and there they were, 3 guys in the way. All of them good looking, but I couldn't care less. They all stopped talking once they saw me.
The blonde one smiled and extended his hand. "Hey there, me names Niall. Are you lost?" I didn't know what to do so I stared at his hand, then up at him and shook it. Probably looking like a total idiot. The two others stayed silent except for a dark haired one who coughed.
"I'm not actually, my names azul. My mom works here, you know, housekeeping." I said awkwardly. Niall nodded and then dark hair spoke. "What are you doing here?" He asked in a snarky voice. What an asshole, i thought.
"You're in my way." I simply said. "I need to get to that room" I pointed to the door behind him. The third one chuckled but this guy's eyes narrowed. "Watch who you ta-" he was about to say something but Niall cut him off.
"Stop being such a dick calum, let her pass. This isn't even your house, its harry's." I smiled at Niall when he pushed celvin out of the way. I walked passed the three and opened the storage room. I saw the liquid and grabbed it. When i turned I saw the third guy standing at the door.
"Hey" he said
"Hi ?"
"I didn't introduce myself. I'm harry, this is my house, well actually, it's not mine mine. Its my parents' but hopefully you know what I mean by my house. " he rambled.
Cute.
"I'm Azul, and I- I uh need to pass." I told him since he was blocking the doorway with his tall frame. He moved "sure."
I walked passed him and into the hallway again. Niall was chatting with celvin. I walked closer to them and he turned his attention to me.
"You're rosita's daughter aren't you?" He asked. I nodded and he made a fist "I called it, see harry! It's the lady that helps me with my spanish." He then looked at me with a gleam in his eye. "Oh my god, do you speak spanish?" I nodded and he jumped. "Ok now you'll be my teacher, that way I learn spanish, and I have an excuse to tell your mom to bring you." He winked at me. I giggled. "Whatever you say" I liked Niall.
I waved at him when I walked away. He waved back at me. I saw from behind him harry, who was smirking and eyeing me, and celvin, who was glaring at me with a small smile at the corners of his lips.
That's the day I met him for the first time. I met Niall that day. And i met calum.
Did i know that he was going to be my future baby daddy? Hell no.
It was only the beginning.
