Jennie's POV
"Jennie!"
I looked up from my keys to see Jimin standing out on my front lawn with a nice smile, not a cocky, proud, fuck boy smirk, but a genuine nice smile.
What's going on?
"What do you want?" I blankly asked.
"Just a nice friendly conversation," he smiled, charmingly.
What?
Jimin? The biggest jerk I know wants a civil conversation? Is he okay?
"Why?" I finally showed some emotion and furrowed my eyebrows up at him.
"I'm done with being on your bad side, I wanna show you what a good guy I am," he shrugged, he seemed true to his words.
"Uh okay?"
"Lisa wouldn't be happy to know I'm even talking to you, so I don't-"
"Relax, I won't try to steal you," he laughed. "I just want to be friendly."
Something's very off and fishy, I don't like it.
"Cool?" I was still confused.
"Please, let's just sit here and talk things out, let's talk about the weather, what music you like, what movie make you cry," he practically begged.
Sounds like he wants to get to know me on a personal level.
What do you think about Riverdale? Do you like it?" And like that, I was gone.
At the mention of favorite series, Riverdale, I sat my ass down on my porch next to Jimin and indulged myself into a deep conversation about the series.
My mind was shut off and my mouth was on auto-pilot, I forgot I was talking to the guy who picked on Lisa because we were dating, I forgot he used to cat call me all the time, I forgot how he was a massive jerk, I forgot how much Lisa dislikes him and I forgot about how he has a massive creepy 'crush' on me.
It wasn't until I saw a very familiar car pull up on my driveway.
"Shit," I muttered as I trained my eyes on my girlfriend's car.
"What's wrong?" I could feel Jimin's eyes on me.
I watched as my girlfriend exited her car, with food, yeah I'm fucked.
"What the fuck?" Her voice boomed out as her eyes were squinted in anger.
I stood up immediately walking closer to her, but she held up her hand signalling me to freeze and shut up.
"Are you serious?" She spat at me, cutting me off. "No, you don't understand-"
"No fuck it, have fun with Jimin, I'll just go," she hissed, hurt was written all over her face and it made my heart scrunch in guilt and sadness.
"Lisa, you're not hearing me out! Let me talk please!" I was desperate, I need her to stay.
"Here's your fucking food you asked for," she chucked them on my front lawn and stormed off to her car.
"No! Lisa!" I started to run after her, but she raced off.
I felt the pain hit me right in my chest, my throat tightened and my chest felt heavy.
Bam's words rung through my head and it made me even more sad.
"...it may not seem like it, but her heart is fragile."
"Jennie, I didn't know I would cause trouble, I'm so sorry-"
"Go home Jimin," I said sharply, feeling like I'm about to burst into tears.
"If you want to talk about it-"
"The only person I want to talk about my feelings with, isn't so happy with me, leave please," I calmly said.
I heard him utter a disappointed and quiet 'okay' as he walked off.
In a quick second I was in my bed scolding myself and half blaming Lisa, she was quick to judge the situation! She didn't even hear me out! She's causing heart ache for both of us just cause she walked off without hearing me out! I shouldn't be hurt over this, she should be hurt.
She is though, she's hurt because she saw me with the guy who she had a rough time with, a guy who picked on her only because she started to court me, a guy who likes me. I should've of never sat down with him.
I can't be mad at her, especially remembering what Bam said.
"I'm asking you to just please take your time with Lisa."
He knew her short patience in heartbreak, and I pushed it, I caused her a great amount of pain. I have to fix this.
