[A/N: Hello. It's currently February 21, 2022 writing this note. I started this book in 2018, so it's a little embarrassing and cringe. But hey, this is the first book I ever got to finish. I'm alright with you guys sorta clowning my old writing but still be nice! I do still check back on my wattpad and I've seen a few not-so-nice comments. Have fun, be respectful and please enjoy my super bad writing lol ]
School was coming up tomorrow, and (Name) couldn't be bothered to hang up her uniform and arrange her bag. She was just out of it. All the training and the studying and the hanging out with friends gave her stress.
So much stress that it fused with her exhaustion and just piled on her like a big sack of rocks that she was forced to carry on her back. But she had to.
Does she have to do it right now? Maybe later.
She groaned and wiggled in her bed, dragging the sheets with her as she hung loosely on the side of it. Her arms were touching the floor as her legs were still on the bed. Being upside down made her head hurt. Maybe that could be an excuse to not go to class tomorrow.
Even for a half day? Please?
"Hi honey!" a sudden slamming of a door made her fall off of her bed. She was pretty sure her head was cracked. "Mina." she called out in a monotone voice. Mina scoffed and put her hands on her hips as she saw her room. It was a mess. Papers here and there, dumbbells scattered about, take out piled on the coffee table, even the girl was a mess.
"Did you not clean your room again?" she walked closer to (Name) as she still lay on the floor, her shirt revealing half of her tummy, never bothering to fix herself.
"I think the word you're looking for is "forget"." she raised up her hands to do air quotes, immediately retreating her arms back to her sides. Mina shook her head and held her by the arm. "Alright, that's enough being lazy. You're cleaning you're room right now or you won't have any of the ice cream cake I bought for you."
(Name) quickly shot up and cleaned her room in a flash, the thought of eating the soft, cold dessert being her only motivation, even going the extra mile to hang up her uniform and arrange the contents of her bag.
"Done. Now gimme!" Launching herself towards her best friend, Mina shrieked and fell down with a loud thud. "Wait a minute! It's in my room. I can't just bring it here without chilling it again."
Both girls got up and dusted themselves before venturing out to her room. She opened the door to her adorable and colorful room, making a beeline towards the small fridge in the corner. (Name) excitedly bounced in her place, and snatched the treats from her friend's hands, devouring it in a second.
"I'm starting to think you love food more than me." Mina crossed her arms and pouted at her friend. "Whaaattt?? No....." she leaned to the side peeking inside her fridge to look for more, but alas there was none left.
"Hmm." Mina rolled her eyes playfully and pulled her best friend in for a hug. "Hey, you remember that announcement All Might mentioned last week, right?". "What, that thing about showing your improvements in a sparring match?" (Name) pulled away from her hug to look at Mina's smiling face.
"The one where you need a partner to trai- You need a partner, don't you?" (Name) deadpanned and stared at Mina's sweating face. "Yeeesss?"
"Sorry, Todo-kun and I are already paired up." She got up and proceeded to walk back to her room. Mina wailed and latched herself onto (Name)'s leg, the latter having no problems with dragging the former. She had done this many times before.
"Waah! Please switch with me! Kaminari is the only one left without a partner and I can't fail again because he distracts me with his chattiness! If you don't wanna switch then let's make it a trio!"
"Let go of my leg, dammit! You're making too much noise!"
Mina looked up, tears in her eyes. "B-but..I bought you your favorite treat!"
"You made me work for it, plus I didn't see any extras." (Name) huffed and shook her leg. "Besides, Todo-kun said he had already planned our schedule and the parts where we're weak, and our quirks match perfectly."
(Name) forcefully peeled Mina off of her leg, and the pink girl sat there sobbing. She felt herself soften, and crouched down to her level. "I'm really sorry, MinMin. But think of Denki, as well. If you decide to put yourself into our pair, he won't have a partner to train with, and all he's left with is himself. He'll fail, get kicked out, and he'll never achieve his dream of being a hero."
"Do you want that to happen to him?"
Mina shook her head no, and sniffled. "I'm sorry, I really really am, MinMin. Look, I'll talk to him and ask him to do well so that both of you can pass, okay?" Mina nodded and (Name) wiped her tears away, kissing her cheek to cheer her up.
"Come on, now. Let's go see Tomoe and Takae." she pulled her up and went to her brother's dorm building, the four of them hanging out until evening came.
--- The Next Day ---
She resented this day.
She resented it a lot. She should've let a migraine occur. She should've stayed in bed all day and hung upside down. If it wasn't for that binggrae strawberry fish ice cream cake that Mina gave her....
(Name) hung her bag on the side of her table and slammed her head onto her table. 'Ow shit, that hurt.' she felt a tear run down her cheek as she felt the throbbing pain on her forehead. 'That looked painless in mangas'
Her slamming her head onto her desk made a loud noise and attracted Tenya to where she sat. "Are you alright? You seem distressed. What seems to be ailing you that you had to hurt yourself?" he put his hand on her shoulder and she raised her head up. "Nah, I'm good bro."
Iida let out a shrill noise as a big bluish purple bruise had already formed on her forehead, and he also noticed a lone tear on her cheek. "Goodness! (Name), you have a bruise! I must get you to Recovery Girl immediately!" Tenya put his arms under her knees and on her back, carrying her like a princess.
"Wait, what?! I've been there too many times, Ten-kun! Put me down and I'll heal myself." (Name) wiggled around in his arms and tried to escape, but her actions didn't faze Tenya at all. "B-but, (Name)..!"
"She said she's fine."
(Name) leaned to the side to see Todoroki standing near them. "Eh? Todo-kun?" She cocked her head to the side and looked at him quizically. "She just needs a little ice is all." Tenya apologized and gently set her down, and went back to his seat, like (Name) did. "Here," Todoroki put his palm on her forehead and cooled it. (Name) pouted at him, and creased her brows.
"Don't look at me like that. I'm helping you, see?" He had a small smile on his face, which made the girl let out a small giggle. "Aww, how sweet. You really are my best friend, Todo-kun. Always looking out for me."
"I hope this suffices." he retracts his arm back to his side, and pat (Name)'s head. "So, you up for practice later?" Todoroki smiles. She would always be energetic with training with him, since his two quirks match her elemental quirk. (Name) would always push him to do more, and ever since Deku told him that the quirk he inherited was his own, he was more confident to spar with (Name) using his fire.
"Of course. I look forward to this afternoon."
"Hey, shitheads can't you talk without being so loud? Damn it, I can't catch a wink in this classroom.." Bakugou looked behind him, and scowled at the pair. (Name) sighed, taking water out of her water bottle and spraying it onto the blonde's face.
"Down, boy." she muttered.
"Everyone! Class is about to start so please go back to your own seats and please be quiet!" Iida shouted at the class as he stood in front. The others went back to their own seats and so did Todoroki. Just in time as he sat in his seat, Mr. Aizawa got in with his banana yellow sleeping bag and did his daily routine with his homeroom.

As recess rolled in, all the students in Class 1-A decided to stay in their room, since (Name) asked them to. Turns out it was Tomoe and Takae's birthday today, and the twins planned to give food to their little sister's classmates.
"I wonder where they are..ribbit.." Tsuyu thought out loud, (Name) nodding in agreement. "They said they'd be here by-"
"TOMOE AND TAKAE ARE HERE!!" the door slammed open and in went in (Name)'s twin brothers. They were carrying many bags of food and drinks. The whole class cheered and jumped up from their seats, swarming the teacher's table as the upperclassmen set the food on there.
Meanwhile, as (Name)'s classmates drooled over the food, her big brothers hugged her and kissed her forehead, which they noticed were cold. "Hey, your forehead's cold. What happened? Wait, did you slam your head onto your desk?" Tomoe put his hands on his hips and smiled at his mischievous little sister.
"Yes..? How did you know?" She stood up and walked over to the table where her friends were gobbling up the food. "HEY! IT'S MY BROTHERS' BIRTHDAY SO PAY THEM SOME RESPECT YOU IDIOTS!" her screaming caught their attention, then the whole class immediately broke into song, some yelling, some even dancing to Happy birthday while shovelling food into their mouths, like Momo and Bakugou.
"Takae did that when he didn't feel like going to class but was forced to. You're our sister, so we know." Tomoe laughed at the sudden greeting of the kouhais, but brushed it off. "Well, we only came here to see you and to give the food. Bye everyone!" Tomoe waved at the class and dragged Takae outside, the others still waving back and eating.
"Your brothers are the greatest, (Name)! I wonder what it's like being the youngest with doting brothers like them." Izuku neared the girl while eating some of the snacks that were in the giant bag of food. "Certainly relaxing and fun, is it not?" Todoroki chirped, holding out a bag of strawberry fish ice cream cakes in front of (Name).
She screamed with joy and hugged Todoroki saying, "Oh wow you saved this for me?! Such a cutie, such a sweetheart, such a gentleman!" It took him all of his willpower to not freak out. After all, he was known to be calm and collected. Not that he wasn't hugged by the girl before..it's just that right now is different.
"I'll take that now, thank you." She snatched the treats and snarfed it down, ripping the packaging apart. "B-brain freeze?" Deku shook in his place, watching the girl eat 15 packs with tremendous speed.
"Oh, nah. Haha" she laughed, eating the frozen treat halfway "I'm so used to eating them that brain freeze is familiar to me."
A nerve popped the side of her forehead as her pupils dilated, yet she battled on, continuing to eat the ice cream sandwhich her brothers bought for her.
"S-see?" she bit onto the last piece of the treat, copying All Might's stance and laughing out loud.
"She's insane." Deku muttered to Todoroki, who was silently judging her. "She loves binggrae treats so much, she'll do anything to eat them!" Mina cut in between the two, whispering the story of yesterday to the two boys.
"WAHAHAHAHA-K-ACK!"
The girl stopped laughing and coughed and hacked. The three students by her side, assisting her and giving her water bottles to drink out of.
(Name) was weird, that's for sure.
But that's just one of her best qualities.
One that all of them loved about her.
