Bailey's POV
It's finally the weekend and right now I'm over Grant's house at first we was talking while he was playing fornite until Maggie showed up
So now Grant and Maggie is siting at the end of his bed, Grant and Maggie are talking while he plays fornite, I'm sitting on the top part of his bed being the third wheel again but I don't mind
I pull out my headphones and put them in my phone and put them in my ears, and started FaceTiming Lexi
It ring for couple seconds before she answered showing her face, the skin under her eyes were puffy and her skin surrounding her nose was red and her eyes was a little watery
"Woah!, what happened to you?" I asked
"Shut up!" She says say causing me to laugh
Grant turned around to look at me "who you talking to?" He asked
I shook my head mouthing "nobody"
he shrugged before turning back around
"What happened to you?" I asked
"I'm sick" she says
"I can tell" I says
"Then why'd you asked?" She asked
"I don't know" I say making her laugh
"What you doing?" I asked
"Finishing your portrait" she says
"Ooo let me see" I say
"No!, it's a surprise" she says
"Alright fine" I rolled my eyes
"Hey, who is that in your background?" She asked
"Uh that's Grant, I'm over his house" I say
"I never liked Grant" she says
"How come?" I asked
"I don't know, he was just too outgoing for me, I have math with him, all he does is make jokes and sleep" she says
"In his defense those jokes are funny" I say
"No they are not funny!" She says
"Yes they are" I disagree
"He has the sense of humor of 10 year old boy" she says
"Yeah I know, that what makes them funny" I say making her laugh
We started chatting for a good 20 minutes, laughing and telling inside jokes from when we was kids
Then there was a loud noise in her background then her screen went black, I heard voices and I stayed quiet until I saw her face in the camera again
"Is everything okay?" I asked
"Yeah, my mom needs me" she says
"Okay, I'll talk to you later?" I asked
"Yeah, sure" she says
"I hope you feel better" I say
"Thanks, bye" she say smiles
"Bye" I say as she hangs up
Soon as the called ended I got text from my mom telling me I have to come home
"I gotta go Grant, I see you later" I gave him a fist bump
"Alright, be careful" Grant says
"Bye Maggie" I say
"Bye Bailey" She says as I left out of Grant's room
