Bailey's POV
The last couple of days I've tried my best to keep my distance from Lexi but when she gets that smirk on her face it's hard to say no to her
We've hung out in public like at a park or at the milkshake shop but when we want privacy we got to abandon houses to make out
Right now I'm waiting by my truck for Lexi she's later than usual, but then the bell ring and I had to get to class
I started walking to class when I bumped into someone knocking their books down
"I am so sorry!" I immediately grabbed their books and when I looked to see Lexi
"Hey" I say as she takes her books from me
"Hi" she smiled
"I was waiting for you in the parking lot" I say
"My car is in the shop" she says
"How'd you get here?" I asked
"I got a ride" she says
"My parents come home today, maybe we can got out after school and hang out or we could go to our secret spot if that's cool with you?" I say
"Bailey, I got something to tell you" she says looking down
"What?, What's Wrong?" I asked with concern
"I um" She stuttered
Then Bruce Sowenski as he walked passed her slaps Lexi on the ass and continued to walked down the hall
"What The Hell!" I say about to confront him
"Bailey!, Stop!" Lexi grabbed my arm
"No!, he needs to know that's not okay" I say
"Bailey, I have a boyfriend" she says
I stop what I was doing and turn around to face her "what?" I asked as I felt my heart slowly breaks
"I have a boyfriend and it's Bruce" she says
"Bruce?, Bruce Sowenski?, the guy who just slapped your ass is your boyfriend ?" I asked
"Yeah, I'm his girlfriend he can grab my ass" she says
"No Lexi! he can't, he's a fucking dickhead do I have to remind you he put his hand up your skirt at that party?" I asked
"Bailey, I don't have time for this" she says
"Lexi you deserve so much more than him, why?" I asked
"because I love him" she causing my heart to break into a million pieces
She walks pass me and I watched Bruce grabbed her by her waist as they walked away
And I walked straight to class
