Chapter 11. What Do You Know?
❝ and the clouds above move closer
looking so dissatisfied
but the heartless wind kept blowing ❞
All of the boys arrive at the detective's house as soon as they hear the bad news about their friend.
The poor boy's dead body is lying on the ground.
There is blood everywhere.
The boys start to mourn, each in their own way. One starts to cry, the other closes his eyes, tightly. One hugs a friend, the other stares at the dead body of his friend.
The detective notices that this moment is the best to observe their reaction. He looks at each one of them. "One, two, three... and four... but where is the fifth one? Jeon Jungkook— where is he?" He mutters under his breath, and turns around in order to see whether he can find Jungkook or not.
"Sir, Chief Deputy wants to talk to you." A police officer says to the detective.
"Give me a moment."
"But, sir—"
"I said give me a moment!"
It is kind of hard for him to observe everybody's reaction and look for Jungkook at the same time.
He feels dizzy.
Where can the weird boy be?
Suddenly, a boy who is watching everything from a distance grabs his attention. He opens the car door in order to get in as soon as he notices the detective running towards him.
Detective Kim shouts, "Wait!" Soon, he grips the boy's left wrist, and pushes him to the car. After a short time, he lets go of the wrist, and grabs him by the collar. "Speak up, Jungkook! Tell me everything you know!"
Jungkook closes his eyes tightly, not wanting to look at the man who has grabbed him by the collar, trying to steal the information out of him by force.
"I know you are hiding something, you little piece of shit!" The detective puts his hands around Jungkook's throat, with the thought of choking him.
