Heavy breathing could be heard at beautiful dawn as a young girl ran through the forest barefooted, panting. tears were streaming down her face as she sprinted to the usual spot where she met her parent.
she had gone through the entire forest 5 times the entire night. she reached the clearing, hoping to see the kind aquamarine eyes of her dragon.
the weak hope in her eyes diminished and fell to her knees, losing whatever hope she held left.
"why? why did you leave me?" she whispered and cried at the same time. she was only five, how could fate make her only family leave?
the lone dragon cry that erupted from her mouth could be heard reverberating through the forest for miles to be heard.
that one cry held thousands and millions of words and stories to tell.
little did she know, her life would be changed forever that morning.
