"I'm not comfortable sending you to another state to work for people you don't know" she says tearing up (we live in south Carolina)
I was moving in with this rich white family so I can pay for my college the next year, although my mom was a teacher we still could never afford college but I'm not dumb I did a check on them
"yea dejah, don't leave we are gonna miss you" my sister destiny said "just b/c you decided not to go to college, doesn't mean I don't have to" I say playfully
"ma, daddy, destiny, Dana (my younger sister) imma keep In touch, I promise an I will let you know if something goes wrong"
"go wrong, what can go wrong, maybe this is a bad idea" mama said freaking out "ma calm down, imma be okay" I say hugging her
"I love all of you guys IMA be visiting for holidays I promise" I say being trapped in a big group hug
