Martina's POV
I was sat on the sofa watching tv when my phone started ringing, I look at the caller ID and see that it's Jorge
"Hey Jorge"
"Hey, I was wondering if you and Peter would want to join me and Stephie on a double date tonight at 8pm," he asked, sounding..nervous?
"Yeah course, where are we going?"
"We're going to that new restaurant called Buena vida"
"That's great I was meaning to go there but they are booked like crazy"
"Then I guess you should thank me"
"Your cocky as ever I see" I say laughing
"You know me too well"
"Ok see you later"
"Bye Tini"
We end our phone call and I pick up a bag of chocolate
"Who was that?" A voice asks, startling me
I turn around and I see Peter standing there taking his coat off
He comes and gives me a kiss
"Oh it was just Jorge. He invited us to a double date with Stephie" I murmur on his lips
At the mention of Stephie, he breaks apart and his face lights up
"Great! When?" He suddenly sounds very eager
"Tonight at 8"
"Perfect! I'm going to go get ready"
'but its only 5:30...' I think to myself.
By 7:30 we are both dressed and are about to get into the car, when I remember about the present I got him today
I run into the bedroom quickly and I grab the gift
"Peter, I got you this today, I hope you like it" I handed him the gift, anxious to see if he'll like it
He opens the gift bag and frowns.
"You bought me a watch?" He said sounding utterly disappointed
"I..I-I thought you would love it." I said, sounding defeated
"I thought you would get me something more..glamorous. I mean you an actress and a model for goodness sake! You get a great salary!"
Ouch. Tears prickle my eyes as his words stab my heart.
"I can't believe you! I go out and buy you a nice gift and you stand there and criticise me! You know what?! Give me the watch back! I'll return it first thing in the morning and you will never have to see it again!"
"No, im sorry my love you don't have to do that its okay. I'll keep the watch," He put the watch on and continued " come, on or else we'll be late"
We got into the car and the drive there was violently silent. When we reached there I got out of the car immediately and made my way inside.
The night wind was gently blowing my floral dress as I walked. Peter was a few steps behind me.
I walked inside and found Jorge and Stephie at a four seat table.
"Hey Jorge, - Stephanie" I said as I sat opposite from Jorge
"Where's Peter?" Stephie said, looking around
"Oh he's just behind me"
Just then peter comes and sits next to me "Hello steph" Peter said looking at stephie and smiling at her
"Peter," stephie says with flirtatious eyes
Stephie and Peter get into a conversation leaving me and Jorge to talk
"So how you doing Jorge?"
"Y'know just being me, as usual" he says and we just smile at each other for a while but we stop when I hear:
"Oh that's a lovely watch Peter" stephie says, reaching over and touching his hand
"Oh thanks it is an awesome watch right?" Peter says, changing his opinion from what he told me when I gave it to him.
"Tini gave it to me"
Stephie drops his hand and looks at me "oh really? Is it a fake watch then?" She says slyly
I narrow my eyes "and what exactly do you mean by that?! You think I can't get my boyfriend an expensive watch? Who the hell do you think you are!?" I shout at her
"Oh no, Martina, I wasn't trying to insult you, it was just a question" she says faking innocence
"You knew exactly what you meant, excuse me" I said standing up and walking to the rest rooms
Jorge's POV
" Stephie what the hell is wrong with you, why were you so mean to Tini?"
"And since when do you care about her so much Jorge, your MY boyfriend remember?"
"Martina is my close friend and there was no need for you to be so rude to her"
"Dont talk to Stephie like that"
I heard a voice say interupting my conversation with Stephie
"Erm and who are you to tell me that??"
"I i im-"
"Just like i thought then" i say as i get up from my seat
"Im going to check on Tini"
"BUT JORGIE"
"Save it Stephie" i say walking away
Stephie's POV
"PETER are you mental?!??!?!? You nearly blabbed everything out !!!"
"Sorry Stephie i just got mad, he has no right to be rude to you" he said pulling on a smile
"Awwww Peter" *grabbing his hand*
Peter quickly pulls away and then i notice why, Jorge and Martina were coming back. I sit back and act like nothing happened.
Martina's POV
After I walked away Jorge came up to check on me. He apolagised for Stephie. That guy always knows how to cheer me up for some reason. I dont know what i'd do without him. Hes a great friend. As me and Jorge sat back down Stephie started again.
"Are we gonna order something or just sit here like a bunch of loosers??"
I rolled my eyes and told Peter i want to go home.
"But Tini we just got here, We havent even ate and you want to go home"
"Peter please, dont argue with me just take me home"
"UGH fine whatever" he complained whilst getting up
"Bye Steph" he said and walked out leaving me behind
"Bye Jorge, im sorry this didnt work out"
"No worries Tini, see you on set tomorrow" he said as he got up to hug me
I could just see the jealousy in Stephie's eyes but i dont know what her problem was, me and Jorge are just close friends.
The ride home was silent and when we got home i went straight into bed. I just layed there for a while thinking about ...Jorge and how he was the only one who cared at the restaurant not even Peter came to check on me. Eventually i fell into a deep sleep.
