After our training session yesterday I think I earned a little respect from the warriors. That boy, Sam, followed us home. Ryder ended up getting a lecture because the kid followed us all the way up to the fifth floor where Ryder slammed the door in his face.

Ryder had gone off somewhere and I was lacing up my boots on the front porch. In all black, knee high boots, stockings, shorts and a two layered ripped tank under my leather jacket I was feeling good.

Noticing a presence to my left I looked up to see the blond from yesterday walking up, looking a bit sheepish. Smiling I waved at her. She came over and sat beside me, passing a white bag. Peaking in I noticed it was my other jacket and placed it beside me.

"Thank you." Nodding I stood up.

"Any time. Try remembering more clothes next time." I moved to leave, but her hand grabbed my wrist.

Looking back down at her she averted her eyes. "C-can we talk?" She muttered. The corner of my lips tugged up as I sat back down beside her. "About yesterday . . ." she took a deep breath and continued "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have assumed anything, and I defenitly shouldn't have challenged you. I'm so used to Natalie and her friends boasting that I kind of assumed you were the same way since you . . . well you talk big and do what you want." She sounded more ammused towards the end and I chuckled.

"I'm afraid my people skills and self constraint is lacking." I admitted and she laughed too.

Her head shook and we looked at each other a long moment. "I do respect you as my Luna, now." She barely whispered the last word.

I looked back out at the trees and bumped her shoulder with mine. "Hey, I wouldn't respect me without proof either." I wouldn't. You aways have to prove yourself.

"That doesn't mean you can fight your Luna. Alpha's gonna kill me." She sounded tired thinking about Ryder. She probably should be terrified.

I wove my fingers together thinking about Ryder and my discussion last night. "I wouldn't worry about that." She looked skeptical but obviously believed me.

She reminded me of someone. I was thinking on it when I heard a voice. "Hey, Red . . . Megan?" Looking up at Jake it dawned on me and I began to laughed. He gave her an accusing glare. "If you told her anythign embarassing, sister or not, you're dead." He hissed at Megan.

Turning to her I placed a hand on her shoulder. "We'll exchange notes later." I promised her as Jake turned to me with narrowed eyed. "I'm going to be late, so catch ya later!" I told them both waving with one hand above my shoulder as I walked towards Kylie's.

Half way there I noticed a shadow. Stopping I rolled my eyes, and bent my knees doing a back flip. A gasp shot out behind me and I turned to see Sam, hiding amoung the trees. "Come on kid, you think I wouldn't notice you?" Sheepishly he stepped out, red tinting his little boy cheeks.

His head bowed a bit and I mentally sighed. "L-luna?" I nodded at him and he continued somewhat reluctantly. "Thank you for standing up for me yesterday, and . . . " He took a nervous minute to continue. "W-wwell, will you train me? To fight?" He blurted and I blinked back at him in surprise.

Seeing my surprise he lowered his head with a bit of sadness in his eyes. Smirking I pat his back. "You sure you can handel it?" A huge grin broke out over his face and he nodded vigorously. "Alright, but no complaints." I warned.

Sam shot towards me, his arms wrapping around my torso tightly. "Thank you Luna!" He cried. Laughing I gave him a small hug back before he let go.

"Meet me in the clearing at one." I told him. Grinning and waving her ran off.

"I still hate kids." Turning to scowl back at Kylie as she walked up, I heard Seth disappear. "You are such a softie aren't you?" She question.

Highly offended I smacked her arm and her hands shot up in defense. "Hey! You're the one who agreed to train him." She retorted.

"Don't. Call me. A softie." I warned menacingly. Bewildered I watched as she just rolled her eyes. She's not even phased by me. That's . . . Insulting. And a little refreshing.

True to my word, after lunch I met up with Sam in the field. However I was not expecting the crowd of kids.

When I entered all the whispering hushed and I felt all seventeen pairs of eyes on me.

I kept my hands clasped behind me and my eyes trained on the trees in front of me. "Sam?" he appeared beside me.

Out of the corner of my eye I noticed his face was red. "They heard me telling my mom where I was going and I couldn't get rid of them." he admitted sheepishly.

Turning to look at him I smirked. "Well then, first stage of training. Evasion." A grin broke out over his face.

We spent the next two hours shaking all sixteen kids off our trail. The hour after that was spent on tactics before we called it a day.
