(A/N: no, Blaine will not be getting slushied in the face, it's just the picture as I couldn't find anything else to match this chapter)
"This is exactly what he was doing when you were away the other week" I sigh at Bas as Blaine through a fit in his highchair.
"Wow, you must have had a tough week" he says.
"Well, it was the first couple of days but we got over it so I don't know what his problem is today" I sigh again as Blaine refused his breakfast.
"AAAAHHHH" he sobs/screams as he thrashed in his highchair.
"Blaine, Blaine, look, you want some breakfast?" I coo as I held up his bowl to show him. He calmed down just for those few seconds to look my way but then he started off again.
"Ok, breakfast is done" Sebastian says as Blaine just point blanked refused to eat. He sets him down and Blaine whines to go back in.
"Breakfast is over" Sebastian says.
"AAAHHH" he sobs.
"Sorry bud, but you don't want to eat" Sebastian shrugs before picking him up. Blaine almost instantly calmed down and laid his head on Sebastian's shoulder, sniffling.
"He's still tired" I say aloud as Blaine looked like he was about to fall asleep.
"Really? Do you you think he's getting sick?" Sebastian asks me.
"I hope not" I say as Bas came over to me and knelt down a bit so I could feel his forehead.
"He feels alright, maybe he didn't get enough sleep last night or woke up and didn't call for us"
"You gettin' tired, buddy?" Bas coos as he rubs his back up and down.
"I'll go find him some clothes" I say to Sebastian before getting up and heading upstairs to Blaine's room. I do a quick tidy up and make his bed and all that before picking out an outfit and taking it back down.
"What took so long?" Sebastian asks me as he took the clothes and nappy off me.
"Oh, I was tidying his room up a bit and I called San to see if she wanted to come over, you know how much Blaine loves Santana" I tell him.
"That's true" he says as he dressed Blaine into a pair of blue and black splotched trousers, the matching shirt and some blue and black dog socks.
"Right mister, go play" Bas tells him. Blaine goes off and plays without whining to us. No less than 10 minutes, we were both in the living room due to him screaming/crying. He was face down on the floor, crying on top of a toy.
"Oh gosh" I say as I pick him up.
"It's ok, you're ok" I try and soothe him.
"Bud, let's look at your face" Bas says to him.
"AAAHHH" he just sobs into my shoulder.
"Alright, baby, ok" I soothe him again as I rub his back up and down while walking around the room. He soon calms down and suddenly got quiet.
"He's asleep" Sebastian whispers.
"Thought so" I tell him as I lay Blaine in his bouncy chair for now.
"His forehead looks a little red, doesn't it?" Sebastian says.
"Yeah, it does" I agree with him.
"Right, I better sort that kitchen out and find something to do with his breakfast" I say aloud as I made my way to the kitchen.
"Can you not just put it in the fridge and re heat it tomorrow?" Sebastian suggests.
"I suppose so" I say as I place it in the fridge. I then tidy up what was left and soon Santana and Brittany arrived.
"Hi"
"Hello" we hug before I let them in.
"Blaine's asleep at the minute" I tell them.
"Oh right" San takes Britt's coat and shoes off and reveals Brittany's clothes that were the exact same as Blaine's, but pink. She wore pink and black splotched trousers with the matching shirt and some dark pink floral socks.
"Is Blaine sick?" Santana asks.
"No, we don't know if he's had enough sleep or not, we don't know what happened last night" I explain to her.
"Oh right, is there not a rewind button or something on the monitor?" She asks.
"Dunno, hold on a sec" I say as I ran up to go get it.
"Right, here it is" I say as I sat next to her.
"Britt, leave him alone please" San tells Brittany as she kept poking him and trying to take his blanket off. Santana helps me with trying to find previous nights footage and she manages to get it up.
"Oh thanks" we look back at the footage from last night and had seen that he had woken up but just messed around for a bit before finally going back to sleep.
"Brittany" Santana tells her off a bit more firmer. She was on the edge of her seat so she could reach Brittany and pull her back so she could stop fiddling about with Blaine.
"Mummy" she whines.
"Go and play" she tells her. Brittany soon goes off and plays with Sebastian and soon Blaine woke up.
"Hey baby" I coo as I got him out. I quickly change his nappy before sitting back down on the sofa with him.
"Ah" he squeals once he saw San.
"Hello you" San coos as she takes him from me.
"Oh, where'd he get that bruise from?" She asks.
"We also don't know about that, we found him face flat on the floor on top of a couple toys" I tell her.
"Oh gosh"
"I know" I sigh.
"You're just a clumsy boy, aren't ya?" San coos at him, making Blaine laugh.
"Wanna come help me make some lunch?" Sebastian asks Brittany.
"Yeah" she cheers.
"Alright, come on then" Sebastian cheers with her before picking her up and taking her to the kitchen. They start making lunch whilst Santana and I sat and played with Blaine/talked.
"Oh gosh, I'm so sorry sweetie, I didn't know you were there" we hear Bas apologising and Brittany sobbing hard so we both rushed in there and Britt's hand was all bloody. I take Blaine from Santana so she could run over to her.
"It's ok, it was an accident" San tries to soothe her while Sebastian grabbed a tea towel and put it against her hand.
"What happened?" I ask Bas, who looked really guilty.
"Well, I was making lunch and the knife slipped out of my hand, I didn't realise she was right there next to me and I think she tried to catch the knife, I don't know, San, I'm really sorry, I understand if you hate me now, I just didn't know she was there" he rambles.
"It's fine, I don't hate you" she kinda chuckles.
"These things just happen you know?" She says as she sat Brittany down on a chair and knelt down.
"Do you think it will need stitches?" I ask San. She removes the towel a bit and we look at it.
"I don't think so, it will probably just bleed a bit and then, I don't know if you have bandages but we could try wrapping it up in something" she says.
"I think so, I'll go look" I say as I take Blaine with me to find some bandages.
"Here we are" I say as I came back with a box full of medical things.
"I'm just gonna go sit upstairs for a while" Bas sighs as he had his head down and walked out of the kitchen and up the stairs. Santana and I gave each other a look, we could tell he felt really bad about what he had done, but it just so happened to be just one of those things. She tells me to look after Brittany before heading off upstairs.
"Is it still hurting, sweetie?" I coo.
"Uh huh" she sniffles.
"Ok, you did such a good job" I try and cheer her up.
"Unca' Bas sad?" She asks.
"He's a little upset, he didn't mean to hurt you" I try to explain to her as best as I could.
"Ehh" Blaine soon whined.
"Yeah, you're probably getting hungry because you didn't eat your breakfast" I say as I placed him in his highchair and give him his lunch.
"Britt, do you feel up to eating?" I ask her.
"Uh huh"
"Ok" I decided to leave her on the chair and pass her lunch to her. The kids and I were just about finishing our lunch when Santana and Sebastian came back down. Santana grabs her lunch whilst Sebastian walked straight over to Brittany and before he could say anything, she launched into his arms.
"I'm so sorry Brittany, I didn't mean to hurt you and I never would, I'm really sorry sweetie" he hugs her.
"Tay unca' Bas" she says.
"Aww, you're so sweet" Bas soon grabs his lunch and the kids went off to play whilst I stayed at the table.
"A baba" Blaine soon comes waddling in.
"Hey bud" Sebastian smiles at him.
"Ehh" he whines, reaching for Sebastian's plate.
"You still hungry, bud?" Bas asks him as he lifts him up and places him on his lap before giving him a piece of his lunch.
"He did miss out on breakfast to be fair" we soon managed to get through lunch and Blaine went back to the living room. We tidy the kitchen up before going to join the kids and playing with them.
"Blaine, Brittany had that first" Sebastian tells him as he tried to take Brittany's pushchair off her.
"Ah" he tried to smack her but Sebastian caught him just in time.
"No, we do not smack" Sebastian tells him in a way to get him to understand as he is 10 months old so we trying to teach him what the word 'no' means.
"Ah" he whines, trying to smack Sebastian.
"Blaine, no" he tells him off more firmer.
"Ehh" he then whines again to be placed down. Sebastian sets him down and Blaine walks away just like little kids do but we soon hear a smack and then a cry from him. I look over the couch and see that he was sat on the floor in the kitchen and I had seen that one of the drawers were open.
"Oh my gosh, his eye is bleeding" Bas says once he picked him up.
"AAAHHH" Blaine sobs.
"Alright, bud, I know" he soothes him. He brings Blaine back through and places him on his lap, he then gets a wipe and tries to clean Blaine's eye up as best as he could. Blaine had cut his eyelid a little bit and had a small mark next to it.
"Wow, you look like you've been in a fight" San chuckles as Blaine also had a small bruise on his head from where he fell over earlier. It soon rolled onto dinner time and we made sure that cupboards/drawers were shut, knives were put away and toys were put in a safer place.
"Come on then, let's have some dinner" we place the kids back into their highchairs and we soon had dinner. After dinner, we let them play whilst we tidied up before getting them into their pyjamas. Blaine wore his matching pyjamas to his clothes, so it was a blue and black splotched sleep suit whilst Brittany wore her pink one.
"Right, I better head home" San says as she collects all of her things.
"Ok" we say bye to Santana and Brittany and watched Santana give Brittany her bottle, dummies, blanket and muslin cloths.
We made sure San got out alright before making Blaine a bottle and taking him upstairs to his room. We settle him down with his bottle, dummies, blanket and muslin cloths too.
"Night bud, love you" Bas kisses him.
"Night baby, love you too" I kiss him too. We quietly leave the room and leave him to settle down before going to our own room.
"I'm gonna take a quick shower" Bas says.
"Ok" I decided to wait for him so I put the telly on for now and made sure to turn the monitor up a little bit incase Blaine woke by himself. Sebastian soon comes out in his pyjamas and turns the telly off for me before getting under the covers with me.
"Night, I love you" he kisses me.
"Night, I love you too" I kiss him back. We both soon fall asleep in each other's arms.
