The sound of my alarm blaring the most annoying sound is what I awoke to. It was the song 'Problem'. Eck Ariana Grande. I honestly hate her. I only set her as my alarm so I'd have to get up just to turn the shit off.
I quickly turned off the alarm and looked around. Some how I had made it from the couch all the way upstairs to Aspen's room. I smiled knowing that he carried me up, he is honestly the sweetest.
Since I showered last night I got my new set of clothes and my makeup as I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth. I hate the fuzzy feeling you sometimes get when you wake up.
After I was dressed and looking decent enough to go out in public I went down stairs to wake Aspen up. To my surprise I not only found him up but with food waiting too!
"NUTELLA!!"
He let out a booming chuckle as I ran to the plate of toast on the table. I simply can't resist the hazlenuty goodness!
"Well good morning to you too!"
"Oh! That reminds me, why are you up so early?"
"Well normally I wouldn't be but I could hear the shit blasting from your phone all the way down here. Why is that even set as your alarm?"
"So that way I would be forced to get up to turn it off, though I am regretting that decision now..."
"Only you Ry, only you."
"Oh shut up you know you wish you were as clever as me. Thanks for the food by the way."
"As if! Ain't nobody as clever as me! Come on and I'll drop you off at hell before I go to work."
Hell. What others commonly refer to as school. I really don't like going. The only good thing about it is my vocal music class. But that's only one out of the four classes I have a day. (A/N At my school there are 2 semesters with 4 classes in each. I live in Canada so it might be different.)
About 10 minutes later Aspen pulled up in front of my school. From the outside it looked fine but on the inside there were all the kids just waiting to fuck with me.
I undid my seat belt and grabbed my bag before I pulled open the door. After I stepped out I turned back to say goodbye. Though he had a different idea.
"Don't let those assholes do what I know they do to you. They're not gonna stop if they know you'll keep taking it."
"Aspen there's only 3 months left until graduation. I'm just gonna wait it out until I can get out of here and never look back."
"Wait it out?! You've been waiting it out since I met you!"
"Look I've got to go or I'm gonna be late. We can talk about this later."
"That's what you always say. And later never comes Ryder. I'll pick you up after school and if we don't talk then I'm going to have to tell your mom what's happening."
"Fine!"
I slightly slammed his door as I stormed away. My mom doesn't know what happens here and I'd like to keep it that way. She's had a hard enough life, she doesn't need this to worry about too.
I took a deep breath to brace myself before pushing past the doors. I made my way to my locker without any hassle. So far so good. I opened it swiftly and got out my note book for science and math.
I then let out a faint gasp and pulled my hand back as my locker door was slammed shut.
"Where were you yesterday Emo Girl? I didn't see your ugly ass anywhere. Not that I'm complaining."
And there it was, the beginning of the day I so desperately wanted to avoid. I kept my mouth shut and didn't bother to answer her. Anna Tress. The IT girl, the Queen B. My shoulder was then shoved hard by one of her followers Mandy Bassett.
"She asked you a question bitch!"
"I was at home..."
I mumbled and tried to walk past them. I was almost successful until Anna grabbed my wrist and pulled me back.
"Where do you fucking think you're going cutter. Make any new cuts lately?"
I didn't answer, I had cut just about 3 days ago when I saw all the latest things they were posting about me online. She smirked sinisterly, take my silence as an answer of 'yes I did'.
The grip she had on my wrist greatly tightened. She squeezed so hard that the wounds split back open and began to bleed. She let go and began to laugh as the bell rang. Quickly her and her minions fled to their classes.
3 more months. I thought as I went to the bathroom to rinse off the blood. I guess science class will have to wait. After awhile I finally got the bleeding to stop.
I walked back to my locker and put away my science book. No use going now, there's only like 10 minutes left. I closed the locker door and began to head to the music room.
3 more months, just 3 more months Ryder.
