You were practicing your hamon skills as Lisa Lisa instructed. You were working on various breathing exercises to see how long you could use your hamon before you needed to take your next breath. You were at Lisa Lisa's all alone outside sitting on the marble banister staring out at the ocean. It was the perfect place for peace and quiet, or so you thought. While trying to concentrate you heard what sounded like glass breaking from behind you.
"Don't move a muscle!" You shouted jumping off the banister and getting into a fighting stance.
"Hey! Hey! It's just me!"
You lowered your arms to see Joesph standing there with a dumb grin plastered on his face. He knocked over what looked to be a very expensive vase.
"Don't sneak up on me like that, I could've killed you."
You turned away from him and sat back down on the banister preparing to start your exercises again. As you closed your eyes, you could still feel his presence behind you.
Please just F' off...
Still sensing him behind you, you sighed.
"What do you want?"
"Oh, well now that I have your attention, I was going to ask if you wanted to train with me..." He said while placing a hand behind his head.
"Nope, extremely busy." You snapped, "Try some other time."
"But—"
"Goodbye Jojo!" You interrupted.
"Tch..."
Stomping his feet along the way, he headed back inside. Joesph was an imbecile, you truly couldn't stand him. He was so egotistical that it drove you up a wall every time you heard him speak. You didn't know what it was but everything he did irked you in some way, shape, or form, it was almost maddening.
As you tried to shake that moron from your thoughts you heard what sounded like someone else coming into the room.
What now?
"Joseph can't you take a hi—"
You turned around to see Caesar.
"Oh sorry Caesar, I thought you were Joseph."
Caesar laughed, "No it's just me."
"Did you need something?"
"Well for starters, I'm sorry to bother you. I was wondering if you wanted to train with me, I could use your help..."
Why does everyone in the world need me when I'm busy?
You sighed, "Can I just grab my jacket first?"
Caesar grinned, "Of course, meet you out front."
You didn't mind helping Caesar train because you had known him for a very long time. You actually had a bit of a crush on him, (I mean have you seen him, he's gorgeous!) but you knew better than to get involved with anyone while training. It was crucial for you to master your skills before going up against the Pillar Men.

You and Caesar headed over to Fight Island which was right on the outskirts of Air Supplena Island. Upon arriving, you saw that Joseph was already there training by himself.
"Caesar-chan I didn't—"
Joseph paused when he saw you trailing behind him.
"(Y/N), I thought you didn't want to train?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Not with you, I came to help Caesar." You said while crossing your arms.
Joseph rolled his eyes and went back to training.
"C'mon (Y/N), I've been wanting to try this new move, I want to know what you think," Caesar said while grabbing onto your wrist.
Caesar led you across the way from where Joseph was training. He had a perfect view of the two of you.
"Alright, now try to attack me with your hamon!" Caesar said while rolling up his sleeves, "Don't hold back!"
"If you insist," You said readying yourself.
You reached into the satchel you brought with you and picked out a pebble that was covered in oil. Since everyone had their own unique ways of using their hamon, yours was through oil covered pebbles and a fighting staff for close-range attacks. You were really good at shooting the pebbles and making a direct hit, you had a 95% success rate.
You charged up as much hamon as you possibly could and flicked the pebble at Caesar without giving him much of a warning. You watched as the pebble spiraled towards him and just before it hit him, he used his bubbles to create one large bubble that acted as a wall and absorbed the pebble and shot it back towards you. The pebble raced past your head.
"Niceeeee!" You said while giving Caesar a thumbs up, "I approve."
Caesar smiled as he walked up to you. He ruffled your hair causing you to blush. You were about to saying something to him until you were rudely interrupted.
"Ahem!" An annoying voice spoke.
You both turned to see Joseph standing there with his arms folded across his chest.
"I've been working on a cool new move too!" He said annoyed, "...And I need (Y/N) to help me out!"
Without asking Joseph pulled you towards him and had you stand at least fifteen feet away from him.
"Alright come at me!"
You sighed, as you reached into your satchel once more. At first, you were going to only shoot the one, but to mess with him you decided to shoot three. You snickered as you readied yourself.
Without hesitation, you shot one right after the other at Joseph. You watched as Joseph smirked and threw his charged clacker volleys from behind him towards you as you shot the first. He dodged the three pebbles with ease, you, on the other hand, weren't expecting him to attack you this early and suffered by getting knocked down.
"What the hell Joseph?!" You yelled.
"You see I predicted that you'd go harder on me because of how you normally treat me. I anticipated that you'd throw more than one so I decided to use my clacker volleys right as you threw the first one. You lost this battle!"
You felt your face get hot in embarrassment.
"I'll kill you!" You said while charging at him.
You were glowing with hamon.
"She's going to go into Overdrive again you moron!" Caesar shouted at Joseph.
Joseph shifted his gaze to you as you came charging at him. He didn't have a chance to react.
You reached for your staff behind your back and struck Joseph in the gut as hard as you possibly could causing him to fly back about twenty feet thanks to the hamon.
As you calmed yourself down you went over to him.
"Your reaction time was terrible, Lisa Lisa would be disappointed."
You kicked some dirt at him and went back to Caesar's side.
"You alright?" Caesar asked.
"Of course, why wouldn't I be?" You said nonchalantly.
Joseph rose to his feet, "Well that was fun wasn't it?"
He laughed as he came over to the both of you.
You quickly turned your head to the side so you didn't have to make eye contact with that fool.
"Hey, nice hit (Y/N)!" He said trying to get your attention.
You ignored him. Joseph thought for a moment and then snickered to himself.
"Well how about I take you to dinner later to apologize for earlier, I'll make it up to you?"
Your eyes widened at his sudden gesture.
The nerve!
"As if!" You scoffed, "You have to be kidding!"
"Well I'm not, I'm being serious! It's free food, I know you can't resist!" He teased.
"She said n—"
Joseph interrupted Caesar, "Just this once!"
Now he was on his knees. That cocky bastard...
You knew that although Joseph was an imbecile, he was very determined to get what he wanted. You decided to give in on the sheer fact that you were already too annoyed to fight with him.
"Fine, but on one condition, you never bother me ever again."
"Deal!" He said rising to his feet.
He wrapped his arms tightly around you.
"PISS OFF!" You screamed when he let you go.
With that, Joseph winked at you and hurried off. You rolled your eyes and directed your attention back to Caesar who appeared to be lost in thought, he seemed agitated.
"Are you alright Caesar-chan?" You asked.
No answer.
"Um, Caesar?" You tried once more a little louder.
"Huh? Oh—sorry (Y/N)-chan, I was just daydreaming."
"I see," You started, "Well, can you take me back to the mansion now? I'm a little tired."
"Of course."
As you and Caesar headed back towards the mansion the whole ride was quiet. He didn't speak to you until you guys arrived in front of the mansion.
"Hey (Y/N)?"
"Yes?"
"You know you didn't have to say yes to going out with Joseph tonight, I could've gotten him to leave you alone..."
"It's alright Caesar, I can fight my own battles, but I appreciate you looking out for me. That's very sweet of you."
Caesar smiled at you and lightly patted your head.
"You're always looking out for me Caesar-chan, I don't know what I'd do without you." You said while heading back towards the mansion.
You began stretching as you walked up the stairs, Caesar was just behind you.
"I'd never let anything happen to you," he said in a whisper only loud enough for himself to hear.

It was coming up on your dinner date with Joseph. Well, you didn't want to think of it as a date since you despised him, but that was the only word you could think of that described it best. As you headed out the mansion doors you noticed Joseph leaning up against a marble pillar waiting for you.
"Girls really do take forever to get ready." He snickered.
"I can easily turn around and go back inside, I can think of a million other things I'd rather be doing." You spat.
"I'm kidding! C'mon."
Joseph motioned for you to follow. Today seemed to be quite busy, there was a larger crowd than usual in the area. As you both wedged through the crowd you noticed Joseph was getting farther and farther away from you. Your anxiety began to rise, you were extremely claustrophobic and at least needed to be with someone you knew in order to feel somewhat relieved.
You could no longer see Joseph anymore and began to panic.
Where should I go? Where were we heading again? Which way was the way back? What if someone tries to attack me? Where is J-
Before you could finish that last thought you felt a large hand wrap around your wrist jolting you forward. You immediately slammed into a hard surface which appeared to be none other than Joseph's chest. He held you tightly in his arms.
"H-Hey I—"
"It's alright (Y/N), I know you hate large crowds, I've got you."
Does he have any shame?
You felt like your face was on fire. Your head laid softly up against his chest and he carefully ran his fingers through your hair. Your heart was thumping so loud within your chest that you were afraid he might hear it. As much as you felt the need to push him off, you couldn't help but feel oddly comfortable in his arms.
Eventually, the warmth slipped away as Joseph released you from his arms.
"Better?"
You nodded.
"Good!" He smiled, "Let's get going I'm hungry!"
Without hesitation, Joseph interlocked his fingers with yours and lead you through the crowd. He didn't release your hand until you both arrived at the restaurant.
You hated to admit it, but you actually had a really great time with Joseph. You both talked nonstop about each other's interests and who had better hamon skills. When it became late, Joseph paid the bill and escorted you back to the mansion.
You both stood in front of the doors facing each other.
"I had a really great time tonight (Y/N), we should do something like this again."
"Maybe..." You teased.
Joseph laughed and playfully planted a kiss on your cheek. Your face began to feel hot, you stared at him wide-eyed.
"See you tomorrow!" He laughed while entering.
You were outside alone now touching the cheek that Joseph had kissed. You felt weird inside, you felt extremely excited and giddy all of a sudden.
Wait, did you actually like Joseph?
You shook your head.
"N-No way..." You whispered to no one.
Before you opened the door to head inside you felt as if you were being watched. You quickly turned around to find no one there.
Must be imagining things...
You went inside and closed the door behind you. Little did you know a familiar face was keeping a close eye from afar.

The next morning you stretched, showered and got dressed as usual. Today you decided to read a book outside since you got a break from training. As you read your book, a large shadow was cast over you. You turned around to see Caesar.
"Oh hey Caesar, what's up?"
Caesar looked like he had something he wanted to say but was holding back. He seemed a little nervous.
"Is everything alright?" You said while closing your book.
"Do...Do you want to go out with me?" He asked while shoving his hands in his pockets and looking in the other direction.
Now it was your turn to be nervous.
Caesar-chan is asking me out!?!?!?!
"Y-You don't have to if you don't want to..."
"NO! I'D LOVE TO!" You said with a little too much enthusiasm.
He chuckled, "Well if you're free right now, I have an idea in mind."
He extended a hand to you and lifted you with ease from the ground. Without letting go, he began to lead you away from the mansion.
"So what did you have in mind?" You asked.
"I figured we'd go see a movie, keep it simple." He replied.
"Sounds good to me!"
You and Caesar arrived at the movie theater and went to watch your movie together. Caesar obviously paid for the tickets and the popcorn, he refused to let you pay a dime.
You happily held the popcorn in your hands and plopped down on the chair. You had no idea what movie you were about to watch but you didn't care since you were spending time with Caesar.
Caesar reached over you and dug his hand into the bag to grab a handful, without noticing you also dug your hand in only to find his. You felt a blush rise on your cheeks as he took hold of your hand through the buttery popcorn. You turned your head to look at him and he smiled brightly at you.
When the movie ended Caesar brought you home. Just like the previous night with Joseph, Caesar stopped in front of the door and looked deeply into your eyes. But instead of Joseph's innocent kiss on the cheek, Caesar was going in for the kill. You froze in place as he inched closer towards your face.
"I want to be the only one that makes you this nervous..." He whispered.
This was what you wanted right? You cared deeply for Caesar but you couldn't help but feel a faint aching in your heart. Just before he made a contact, the sound of the front door opening and slamming shut made you and Caesar jump.
"J-Joseph!" You said nervously.
He didn't look too happy, and he wasn't even looking at you, his attention was all on Caesar.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
"It doesn't concern you!" Caesar replied while taking you in his arms.
You turned red as you were pressed firmly against Caesar's chest.
"Um, I believe it does."
Joseph pulled you into his arms.
"Uh, guys I—"
"You're clearly making (Y/N) uncomfortable!" Caesar stammered.
This was truly an awkward moment for you. Both of these boys were fighting for your affection!
"You know what? Let's let (Y/N) decide!" Joseph exclaimed.
He released you from his arms. Both the boys stood side by side as they awaited your answer.
"So who's it gonna be?" Caesar asked.
"Pick me (Y/N), I know we haven't always gotten along but I know we can make it work," Joseph spoke.
"Well, I—"
"I've always loved you (Y/N)," Caesar interrupted, "We've been friends for so long, you know I'll always protect you."
The boys stared at you eagerly awaiting an answer, who would you choose?
