Hiding in the corn,
duck down so none can see..
I hear someone whispering,
another voice coming from near me..
Teens are playing,
before the harvest begins..
Laughing and flirting,
believing themselves safe among friends..
I decide to play as well,
I ruffle through my bag..
Pulling out a skinning knife,
anticipating the hunt this night..
