chapter 2 <3
It was 4 am in the mourning. I couldn't stop thinking bout that stupid boy, I couldn't help it. Today was Friday last day of the week and my birthday party on Sunday at liquid. My 17th at a club! Couldn't wait.
I got up and stretched. Time to get ready for school. I walked towards the bathroom and had a quick shower washing my hair. I grabbed the towel and walked over to the sink quickly brushing my teeth. I then walked into my bedroom brushing my brown hair and straightening it. I slipped on some skinny jeans and a plain white top oh and my pink converse trainers I loved these things. I got downstairs and grabbed a slice of toast of the side where mum had made the toast.
"thanks mum, I better go because ive got go pick up Becky, Jake and Jack!" I yelled running for the door. I closed it quietly behind me. I threw my bag into the back of my pink convertible beetle. My dad bought it for me for my 16th. Loved it to pieces!
I put the now 75 c-d in and started singing to it as I pulled out the driveway. I went to pick up Jake first. I parked just outside and beeped.
"yo Jake how long yo gonna be?" I said pretending to be a gangster.
He laughed and jumped in beside me. We then went to go get Jack he was already waiting on his gate.
"hey Jack!" me and Jake said at the same time.
"yo was sup!" he said.
On the way to Becky's all they could talk about was football. So I just drove in silence. When we got there she was just leaving through the door.
"yes mom, no...yes...yes...no...oh see you later!" she said slamming the door.
"mothers!" she whined. "I AM SO EXCITED!"
"let me guess Gary wolf asked you out?"
"YES AND HE IS H-O-T, HOT!"
"girls!" Jake and Jack said.
All we could hear all the way there was Gary wolf this, Gary that. I finally pulled in and parked. And we all got out and headed to our usual spot.
"so guys you are all invited to my party at liquid!" I screamed.
"yay! So we've got to go and get our dresses tomorrow!"
"sure!" I replied jumping up and down with her.
" see you guys later!" I yelled walking towards my form room.
**After school**
I dropped all the others home and got home myself. I got out and went through the front door to find my parents together and waiting for me.
"we've got a big surprise for your birthday." mum said then walked into the kitchen.
Okay, I ran up to my bedroom throwing my bag on the floor and thinking what surprise? I had to be good if it was a surprise. I then heard my phone bleep. I decided to leave it, ive had enough for one day!
**Next day**
I woke up to my phone's ring tone. I was not a mourning person!
"who is this!" I yelled.
"its Becky, when are you picking me up?"
"what?" I said wearily.
"were going to get our dresses for your big party tomorrow!" she said.
"oh yeah, erm... I'll be about half an hour." I replied before shutting my phone.
Eurgh going to the mall with Becky was torture! But I did need a dress to look perfect in for my big surprise. Better get going only 30 minutes!
I jumped out of bed and wet straight to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and had a quick wash. I ran to my bedroom and quickly slipped on a short summer dress and sandals and grabbed a bag for my purse, ipod and phone. I quickly ran downstairs and out to my car. 10 minutes to get to Becky's, I was gonna make it, she usually gets really mad if you don't. so I hopped in and started the engine and pulled out of the driveway.

At the mall Becky was dragging me everywhere. Especially clothe stores. As soon has she practically had a million bags with her we decide to get some star bucks. We sat at a both and drank for awhile.
"Beck, its nearly half 5, the malls closing soon and, I HAVEN'T EVEN GOT MY DRESS!" I screamed.
"Ok calm down I saw the perfect dress in Bardo, don't worry girl!" she replied.
I sat there ages waiting for her to drink her decafe late with double foam cream and sprinkles. Finally she finished and we quickly legged it to Bardos to see that dress she thought suited me so much.
When we got there she pointed to it, oh boy it was beautiful, it was purple with a black lace going across it and a black netting going across.
I'm Buying it.
I ran into the shop and bought it. Lovely! Now all I had to worry about was getting a tan. I laughed at myself for thinking this. Then we headed back to the car, and jumped in.
"Well what time do you want us to come to yours?" Becky asked.
"Well bout 8 my parents hired a pink limo! Can you believe it!" I said, I was more exited than I had thought.
So we pulled out the parking lot and I went to drop off Becky.

It was 5pm and I was having dinner before the party, I couldn't wait I couldn't eat anything so instead I went up to my bedroom and listened to music. You know how long it takes a girl to get ready. So I had a nice bath and brushed my teeth. I walked into my bedroom and turned the stereo on and 3OH!3- my first kiss came on. And I started dancing round the room. Until I realized I needed to get ready, so I put on my dress and started curling my hair at the front. I added a black headband with a bow. Now for the make-up! I put a bit of foundation on and some see-through lip gloss, oh and a bit of white eye shadow. I slipped on some black heels and grabbed a black clutch bag and threw my mobile in it. I walked over to my mirror.
Today I was 17, 17 years old. I smiled and headed downstairs.
When I got down there I saw my mum and dad, Becky, Jake and jack standing there looking at me.
"well what'd' you think?" I asked.
"beautiful," mum and dad said.
"you look astonishing!!" Becky said running towards me and giving me a hug.
"gorgeous!" Jake said walking over and pulling me in for a hug.
"love the new look!" Jack said.
I gave mum and dad a kiss and we all went towards our pink limo. I closed the door quietly. And walked towards it.
"good evening ma'm," the driver said.
I looked up and he looked familiar, same dark black hair and shaped face, I couldn't see anything else because he had dark shaded glasses on. I was just staring until he held my hand delicately and I sat in it. The others jumped into the stereo turned up and the drink handed out. In the rear view mirror I could see him looking, but as soon as I looked he looked away.
Weird.
Becky came and sat next to me.
"what's wrong?" she asked.
"nothing, its just that driver seemed really seemed familiar," I said scrunching up my face.
Becky smirked then went over to Jack. She knew something I didn't! I finished my drink and just nodded my head to the beat of the music.
About 20 minutes later we were there and we could hear the loud music already. Everyone got out and I got out last.
"c'mon Kacey!" Becky said grabbing my wrist and pulling me in. I saw everybody and I was saying hi to practically everyone, I couldn't hear anything because of the music. Then all the lights dimmed and my dad was on stage.
"everybody!, I want to make an announcement, my baby daughter is 17 now, practically a woman, but in my heart she'll always be my baby daughter..." by then my dad was crying.
I ran up on stage and gave him a hug.
"thanks dad" I whispered in his ear.
"so, now we all need to sing is happy birthday!" he said laughing. So a massive cake came out and was set in front of me.
"1,2,....3! Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to Kacey, Happy birthday to you!"
The lights turned off and all you could see were the candles.
"make a wish darling!" my dad said.
I bent over and made a wish and blew the candles. The lights suddenly came back on and everyone was cheering. The music came back on. I went over to my dad and gave him the biggest hug ever.
"Soooo, where's this surprise?" I asked.
"close your eyes!"
He put his hands in front of my eyes and took me other to a much quieter place. Then he took his hands off, I saw the driver standing there and he took his hat and sunglasses off. My mouth fell open,
