(3rd Person)

After (Y/N) informed U.A staff of Eri and how she was his little sister, they allowed him to bring her on campus, but only until the end of the school day... meaning Eri would have to head home to the place that made her terrified, (Y/N) didn't want that to happen now, whatever happens at home obviously scares Eri so much that she begs (Y/N) to never leave her, he had an idea... but it would take a miracle to pull off.

So, at the end of the school day, (Y/N) stood at the school gates with Eri tightly clutching his leg, fearing she was about to be sent home after spending so much time making new friends and for once in her life: feel joy and have fun. Mark came running out of the school, heading right for the two as he stopped in front of (Y/N), both hands on the straps of his backpack while a smile was stuck to his face.

Mark: Alright, let's go!

Eri: W-w-will, I have... to go... h-h-h-home?

Her voice was shaking at that, Mark couldn't help but give the girl a sympathetic look, he looked up at (Y/N) who was simply staring at the road ahead, not even reacting to the girl's question which made him think he wasn't going to do anything. That was, until (Y/N) placed a hand on Eri's head, mindful of her horn while he ruffled her hair. Eri didn't know whether that was to comfort her when going 'home', or reassuring her it's not going to happen. (Y/N)'s emotionless expression didn't exactly help her decipher the meaning behind the affectionate action.

Sofia: Hold it!

Everyone looked, Sofia was stomping out of the school with her strap bag looking much bigger than before, her expression obviously spoke of irritation... most likely because of All Might's punishment after she attempted to kill Yaoyorozu during the exercise.

Mark: What's got you so disgruntled? Throwing a hissy fit over extra lessons?

Sofia: Shut it!

Mark: Be grateful, if it was any other teacher like Aizawa, you would've been out of this school straight away for attempted murder... possibly even locked up.

Sofia: I already told you: the hero course isn't for weaklings, if she couldn't withstand my attack then she had no place here in the hero course.

Mark: Being a hero isn't always about having power that you can use over others. You need to have the right attitude first of all.

Sofia: Tch, and this is why I know I can beat you, Killa, you're too soft, you're the kind that'll make a mistake and get himself killed even when you have such overwhelming strength like myself and (L/N).

(Y/N) and Eri just continued watching them argue, Mark trying to make it clear that power wasn't everything and Sofia rebutting that statement, stating that without power, you can't survive in the world and that every hero should always use their power to make their mark in this world, to show criminals they aren't here to constantly play around.

Eri: Miss Yuko... she doesn't act like a hero...

(Y/N) shook his head in agreement, he then started to walk with Eri hurrying after him, hoping not to get caught up in the continuing argument between the two... (Y/N) most likely got out of there for the same reason since Mark and Sofia would use him for their arguments soon.

Eri: (Y/N)...

He hummed, showing he was listening as the two continued walking, Eri fidgeting in place while her eyes continued to travel between (Y/N) and the ground... then, she nervously held out her hand causing (Y/N) to stop and look down at her.

Eri: C-c-can you...

It was obvious she was nervous, and at the same time afraid... something must've happened back at her 'home' to fear touching someone else, nonetheless, (Y/N) slowly reached out his hand causing Eri to flinch slightly... only to slowly calm down as she felt (Y/N)'s hand carefully wrap around her own and warm her slightly. She looked up, only to see the blank stare of (Y/N), however, she smiled at seeing it because he didn't fake any smiles to make her feel better, or hide any evil intentions like 'he' would.

Eri: T-thank you...

The two continued their walk, Eri growing a happy smile as she felt her hand only get warmer from (Y/N)'s gentle grip, she even began to skip slightly, humming a quiet tune that couldn't reach (Y/N)'s ears. Until Eri let out a grunt of discomfort, that's what caused (Y/N) to look at her again... only to see Eri was holding her foot while letting go of his hand, there was pebbles, dirt and all kinds of things on her bare feet.

(Y/N): 'I keep forgetting she doesn't have any shoes... and there's plenty of people who leave trash lying around on the floor, her feet will probably catch something bad if they continue to be exposed like that...'

And that's when (Y/N) came up with an idea, he slowly made his way around and behind Eri who was too busy brushing the stuff off her feet to notice... that was until she felt someone grip her sides, that caused her to panic instantly, about to flail around and call for help. But then, again she calmed down once she felt the gentle grip of the hands, lifting her off the floor and planting her on something soft... she realised when she spotted the familiar flock of (H/C) hair that (Y/N) had once more lifted her onto his shoulders, shifting his hands from her sides to her legs to keep a grip on her.

Eri then noticed (Y/N) had briefly let go of one of her legs to lift the notebook he constantly carries, and shows what he had written on it.

(Y/N): 'There's lots of things on the floor that could make your feet worse, this is probably the safest way for you to travel without your feet getting infected or something'.

Eri nodded, surprised that (Y/N) had both not disappeared from her panic which would've activated her 'curse' as she called it and that he had the gentlest of grips despite the situation... but, that quickly became a sad frown as she sighed, placed her cheek on (Y/N)'s head in defeat.

Eri: You're... taking me home, right?

She didn't notice it, but, (Y/N) had looked back at her using his eyes so that Eri wouldn't be uncomfortable, he could sense the distress and despair coming from her whenever she mentioned her home. He couldn't help but sigh internally at what he was about to do, turning back to the road he started walking, making Eri sigh herself since he didn't answer her question... she could only assume the worst.

They continued to travel in silence, the sun's rays shining down on them while Eri kept staring in wonder at all the buildings, signs and people passing by them since some of the people had mutation quirks and were very noticeable... though, due to (Y/N)'s size they weren't able to see that much, he was only a little taller than Izuku, so that'd put him at about 169cm, but... it was more than enough to temporarily get Eri's mind off the awful fact that (Y/N) was most likely taking her home.

Once they boarded the train, that's when Eri got extremely curious, gasping in wonder at the inside with so many seats, windows, standing poles and so on... she hopped off (Y/N)'s shoulders and with his help got onto the steel floor of the train to look around, her eyes wide as a doe's from all the foreign but amazing things she witnessed. (Y/N) meanwhile just sat in a lone seat with one leg crossed over the other while pulling his phone out, seeing if he was messaged at all.

He saw three notifications on his phone: two from messages and one an e-mail. First notification: a message from Izuku asking how the day went, and if there were any notes he needed to copy from missing lessons, smiling slightly in amusement, (Y/N) messaged back, reassuring there was no work since Aizawa made it a free study lesson.

The second was a message from Yaoyorozu, she gave him her phone number after talking with him in class, seems as though her parents were insistent on meeting the one who saved their daughter from a classmate, she wanted to arrange a time he could come over, and also asking him what type of tea he preferred out of three products he'd never heard of. Being polite, (Y/N) stated he'd be happy to visit, and choosing the second type which was a name he couldn't even pronounce, something called a lapsang souchong and that any time would be fine with him.

Finally, the e-mail, and this is when his smile turned back into his blank expression, Eri noticed this as she watched (Y/N) stare at the weird device in his hands... she attempted to peek at it, only for (Y/N) to quickly lock the phone and place it back into his pocket.

Eri: Hey... what was that thing you had just then, (Y/N)?

He pulled his notebook and pen out of his bag, writing down his answer like always.

(Y/N): 'It's called a mobile phone, a device that'll let you communicate with your friends when they're not in the same room as you, it can also take pictures and videos.'

Eri: Pictures? Videos?

At that, (Y/N) pointed the phone at Eri, once again making her flinch from the sudden action before she was surprised by the phone making a snapping sound despite it not bending in any way... then, (Y/N) turned the phone around to show Eri a picture of herself making her jump... she raised a hand, but was disappointed when the photo didn't follow her actions.

(Y/N): 'A picture, is something that you can use to capture and save a moment you want to remember, just like how the phone managed to capture you while you were staring at me... as for videos, they're a bit different since they can capture things for a longer amount of time... and make it seem as though you are the one witnessing the events... like so.'

He started recording as Eri was confused seeing herself once again, only this time, she raised a hand to see the phone her copy her... she reached out, poking the Eri in the phone and was surprised again when she was following her moves. Seeing it as a challenge, Eri started pulling funny faces: baring her teeth, tongue hanging out, eyes rolling around... all sorts which made her giggle as she saw how silly she was being, before she looked up at (Y/N) with hopeful eyes... of course, (Y/N) saw her request instantly and handed her his phone making her light up.

She ran around the train, recording just about anything she could see, giggling whenever she caught something funny, silly or amazing. She recorded birds passing by, people walking down below, even the darkness of the tunnels they occasionally went through. Then, just as she was about to hand the phone back, Eri went wide-eyed with said eyes sparkling at seeing (Y/N) looking at her with the most genuine smile she had ever seen on anyone's faces... not wasting any time, she recorded the smile as (Y/N) finally realised after a few seconds that Eri was recording him which made him make a silly face by closing one eye and poking his tongue out.

Eri: Nooo! Your beautiful smile's gone!!

That made (Y/N) blink in surprise at what Eri said, she walked over, pouting and feeling disappointed in (Y/N) for ruining the video... with a chuckle, he grabbed the phone gently back off her and ended the recording. Eri kept pouting, demanding to see (Y/N)'s beautiful smile again as she called it, every time jumping onto his lap and pulling on his clothes to try and convince him, and every time he either didn't answer or refused, Eri would shake him by pulling and pushing on his clothes again making (Y/N) simply grow a sweat drop as everyone else on the train giggled or chuckled thinking it was two siblings playing around.

(Timeskip)

Once the train had reached its destination, Eri had to be dragged off considering she wasn't done 'running through the metal thingie' yet, of course, (Y/N) knew if he stayed on any more he wouldn't be able to get home at his usual time... meaning his schedule of heading to the candy shop before it closed would be ruined. Luckily, he managed to pull her off the doors with help from nearby staff, again mistaking it as a sibling duo playing around.

Once again, Eri found herself atop (Y/N)'s shoulders as she looked at the smaller buildings that were around (Y/N)'s neighbourhood, not to mention less of the 'funny people' which were mutation quirk owners in the area. However, her eyes lit up in wonder at the shop they were heading to, luckily it wasn't closed and (Y/N) had around twenty minutes.

Eri: C-candy?

She struggled to read it at first, but managed to correctly name the word in front of her, (Y/N) looked back to see her wonder-filled eyes, he smiled slightly, ducking when heading into the shop while beginning to look around for the types of candy he'd take home with him, and of course, the best one to start Eri with.

When they exited the shop, (Y/N) was holding a bag of an assortment of candy, ranging from lollipops to bags of jelly candy such as gummy bears, Eri meanwhile had a small lollipop that was bright red to indicate the flavour being cherry. She knew from her meeting with (Y/N) in the bathroom was a lollipop was, though she didn't know they were for eating.

Eri: I... I just need to... put it in my mouth?

(Y/N): 'Depends on what you prefer, some people instantly stick it into their mouths to savour the flavour, others just lick it until it's all gone, not once putting into their mouths.'

Eri looked back at the lollipop, understandably nervous as she poked her tongue out slightly, she gave it one quick lick... and then went wide-eyed with a smile adorning her face instantly.

Eri: Wow! I've never tasted anything so sweet before!

Thus, she continued licking it ferociously causing (Y/N) to chuckle in amusement as the scene looked similar to a puppy licking it's owner's face, happy to see them after a long time. He patted her head causing Eri to only grow happier while the two continued walking.

Once they arrived at (Y/N)'s house, that's when the realisation hit Eri hard, her heart grew heavy, her spirits instantly down and tears already making their way to her eyes as she remembered what will happen once (Y/N) got home... (Y/N) looked back at her, seeing the depressed state she suddenly became at seeing they were at his stop... he sighed, kneeling down to Eri's eye level before rubbing her head.

(Y/N): 'What are you so sad about? I didn't even answer you before, right?'

Eri: B-b-but... you're... home...

(Y/N): 'Yeah, so?'

Eri: I... I... I have to go... h-h-home... too...

Her tears escaped her eyes, hitting the floor while her lollipop fell out of her mouth, that was until (Y/N) caught it by the stick, holding in front of her with a blank expression still on his face.

(Y/N): 'Yeah... you'll have to go home...'

That made her grow even more devastated as (Y/N) stood up, heading for the front door while Eri desperately tried to call out, only for choked sobs to come out, (Y/N) looked back at her, opening the door and then... pulling out his notebook.

(Y/N): 'Come on then... let's go home...'

Eri's eyes went extremely wide, hope sparkling in them as even more tears threatened to spill... but, they weren't tears of sadness as she sniffled, unsure of his words...

Eri: Does... does that mean...

(Y/N): 'It'll take a long time to explain to everyone, but, they won't stop me from my decision. I figured you'd need somewhere better to stay since your home obviously scares you... it's not much, and we'll need to sort out sleeping priorities... but for now... if you want... welcome to your new home Eri.'

At that, Eri couldn't help it... she collapsed to her knees right where she was, tears freely flowing out her eyes as her sobs of happiness could be heard, (Y/N) just watched her with an indifferent expression, waiting patiently as her tears dried up... she got to her feet once more, only to come charging as (Y/N) was almost knocked off his feet from the bullet that was Eri crashing into him, squeezing his waist tightly and bringing a fresh round of sobbing into his shirt.

To help her, (Y/N) bent down to allow her arms to wrap around his neck, allowing them a proper hug as Eri dug her tear-stained face into his shoulder... sobbing away happily while (Y/N) patted her back softly but with his still blank expression adorning the same smile Eri called beautiful on the train ride here.

(Timeskip)

When (Y/N) said it would take a long time, he wasn't kidding: the parents were against it instantly, stating they couldn't take any more in, the sisters were more supportive however. Thankfully in the end he was given the say, Eri couldn't be any happier as she smiled at everyone, unaware of how the parents treated the boy in the past.

Now, Eri slept peacefully in (Y/N)'s bed, snuggling into it further since it felt like she was in the warm and safe arms of (Y/N) who sat on the sofa downstairs, staring at his phone at the e-mail he was sent earlier... a picture of Eri riding on his shoulders as the two went to the train station with one sentence beneath the picture.

Return Eri to me at the train station or the consequences will affect your friends.

That made (Y/N) scoff, thinking about how Eri seemed happy to be around him and his friends, so, with a look of determination... he typed his answer in four words.

Just try it, asshole.

And then... sent the e-mail, challenging the one who had tortured Eri, (Y/N) knew from that moment on, he'd gotten himself in much more danger than a normal student from the hero course should be in...

To be continued...

(A/N): Alrighty... I think I'll skip the class representative episode considering not much will change since the three inserted characters ((Y/N), Mark and Sofia), do not affect the vote in any way as they don't take part, which means... next chapter's going to be the start of the final chapters of this book, look out for it! Anyways, thank you guys and gals so much for the continued support and as always: eat one or more brownies every day!!!!
