"Could you stop laughing?"
Suzy glare at Mark who is sitting on the floor still being tied up
The two huge men are right next to Mark incase he tries to run away
"How can I this is fun. Don't you think so Suzy?"
Suzy was getting more annoyed by how carefree Mark is and not even scared but she had to hold herself, she doesn't want Dorine to be mad at here for leaving a scratch on the crazy kid since he is going to be sold in a few hours
They were back stage of the auction and Mark could see many other people being tied up and looking scared as they are about to be sold to cold Mafias or even old ones
This only made Mark laugh more looking at everyone's feared reaction and Suzy annoyed look
Soon Dorine walked up to Mark with a phone on here hand, she pressed the button speaker and put it near Mark
Mark stop laughing and gave her a confused face
"Hey there Mark?"
Mark look at the phone in shock
"Dad? Why you call mum?"
Suzy look at Mark than Dorine with confused look,, wondering why Dorine would let Mr Im talk to Mark knowing that Mr Im could hack the phone for their location but didn't question
"How is it going? Sound like you are having fun"
Mark laugh and giggle ignoring the tightness of the rope that tied him up
"Never better. I'm having the time of my life"
"That's good to hear.. Listen.. I feel bad that I couldn't be there for you right now"
Mark chuckle and look around his surrounding
"I don't think you want to be here also, it's filled with sobs and sweat you know?"
"I'm not just talking about being there right now, I also mean being there for you ever since you step foot into this world. I never supported you guys nor gave you guys the love you needed"
Mark frown at the phone trying to understand why his father is being like this
"W-What do you mean. T-This isn't l-like you at all"
The creepy Mark is gone and is replace back to the soft and innocent Mark that worries about everything around him
"I'm sorry Mark"
"Y-You're apologizing.. You never do that. What's happening?"
Mark voice with a little higher to show he isn't comfortable and mad right now
"I won't be able to stay by you guys anymore. I wished that I could and maybe at least watch you grow old and have children but it seems like life have different plans for me"
Mr Im voice was broken and low like he is having trouble talking, he was also coughing badly
"D-Dad?.. Please till me that your ok"
Mark eyes starting to form tears and Mark is trying his best to think all the positives things right now
"Listen here, I can't tell you I'm fin-"
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN'T! TELL ME THE TRUTH NOW. DAD!!"
Everyone back stage was shock at the sudden yell expect for Dorine, she only watch Mark's reaction carefully
"I... I have leukaemia.. And it just so happen today is my last day"
Mark started crying and sobbing and shaking his head
"No, No, No, It can't be. No. You're lying to me"
"... Mark please don't cry"
Mr Im took in a huge breath and Mark knew his father was trying to hold in his tears
"Why didn't y-you tell us you had.. t-this"
Mr Im chuckle and sniffle could be heard
"I wasn't the best dad and I know that. And just having this thing in me only make it's worse and I don't want to cause more trouble to you. Listen Mark, I'm sorry. I really, really am. Can you promise me something before I go"
Mark force himself to stop crying and nodes his head
"Y-Yes. Anything"
"I want you to live your life to the fullest. Don't you dare go all depressed about my death now. And most importantly don't you dare came see me and this age. I only allow you to see me when you turn at least 80 years old. Got it?"
Mr Im laugh trying to lighten up the mood
Mark only cried harder but nodes his head
"I-I P-Promise"
Mr Im chuckle at his eldest son cries and let out a small sigh to try to stop his tears
"I Love you Mark"
"I-I L-Love You Too Dad. Y-Your the b-best dad ever"
Dorine took the phone and hang up leaving Mark crying and hugging himself alone
Suzy and the two men only look at Mark broken state not knowing how to react at what they hear
"Dad. Dad. I miss you"
Mark cried
