“Thomas, tell me what's going up right there!”
Mom shouted, I felt adrenaline shoot through my nerves.
“n-nothing—nothing at all, m–om!!”
I screamed back. “I'm coming up right now. If you aren't opening the door.”she said with a firm tone. And I knew this wasn't a good mood.
“N-no N-no! I'm coming, I'm coming.”
I left the door, the door knob fell, rolling over the ground. Kicked it which made it land under my bed. Finally going to the door to answer my mom.
“I heard a cuss.”
She hissed.
I sweated,before faking a laugh. “Aha, C'mon momma, you must've just heard things.” I shrugged my shoulders. As if nothing happened.
She narrowed her eyes at me, before saying, “Breakfast's ready downstairs by the way,” and turning her heels away.
Phew.
That was close.
I sighed heavily in relief, holding my chest. Then went straight to where the broken door, without a knob stood. 'Welp, guess I've to explain this to my mom...' I thought for a way to make an excuse for a broken door knob. Eh, guess I'll just have to lie that I hit it with some weird ass object.
Anyway, I had to find what was going within me.
