Jakes POV
I wake up to my phone ringing and when I pick it up I noticed someone covered me and Erika up.
When my phone rang luckily it didn't wake Erika up.
*whispering*
J: hello
L: yo where are you? Moms back and she thinks you don't want to be here because of what she did.
J: I'm with a friend right now
L: are you hooking up with someone?
J: no I stopped doing that and do you think I would actually think I would pick up if I was?
L: well you never know. How long will you be with your friend?
I didn't notice Erika was awake.
E: would your parents let you stay overnight?
J: I'm not gonna be home until tomorrow.
L: are you sure you're not with a girl?
J: I am with a girl I'm just not hooking up with her.
L: well can I hook up with her?
I just hung up the phone.
J: when did you get up?
E: just now
J: then who covered us up?
E: maybe my mom or maid, my step dad is in New York on business.
J: does he treat you right?
E: he's one of the nicest people I know.
J: well that's good. Do you have any siblings?
E: 12
J: holy sh•t, where are they?
E: my mom and dad couldn't take care of them because they were so young so Child Protective Services took the first 9 away. Dani lives with my grandma because she likes her more Jc and Morgan are in college their twins.
J: do you miss the other 9?
E: I've never met them.
J: oh
*knock knock*
Some lady walked in I'm assuming her mom so we both sat up.
An: oh my god Erika you finally got a boyfriend.
E: mom!
An: hi I'm Angel
J: I'm Jake
I looked at Erika
J: so I'm assuming it was the maid who covered us up?
E: yeah
An: okay sorry to intrude but there are cops looking for you.
E: oh okay we're coming.
Her mom left and Erika covered her face.
E: ugh I'm sorry.
J: for what?
E: she's so embarrassing
J: you never had a boyfriend not even a fake one in the 1st grade?
E: I was kind of the outcast until 6th grade and you know I was kinda busy having a crush on you to get any other boyfriend.
J: when I changed last year why did you still have a crush on me?
E: because I knew that wasn't you.
J: well come on.
I picked Erika up and she started laughing.
E: Jake put me down
I just ignored her and carried her downstairs. Then put her down once we got downstairs.
E: hi officers why don't you come in.
PO: thanks
They came in and I don't know why but I started to get nervous.
J: am I going to jail?
PO: no
J: okay cool
PO: is there a reason you should go to jail?
J: uh no
I beat up David and Wesley and it wasn't self defense.
PO: well your case was approved and Dennis is in custody.
An: DENNIS!!!
E: uh yeah I turned him in
Angel walked away with tears in her eyes.
E: was I not supposed to do that?
J: she probably doesn't want to even think about that.
E: yeah
PO: well your court date is tomorrow so you will have to testify he will most likely go to prison since he has a history of domestic abuse.
E: why isn't he in prison?
PO: the charges were dropped.
E: well thank you officer.
PO: no problem.
The cops left and Erika immediately hugged me.
E: thank you so much Jake.
J: for what? you did this.
E: yeah but I wouldn't have said anything if you hadn't made me.
Erika let go and ran off I'm assuming to her mom and I didn't want to intrude so I just stood there and looked at some of the photos on the wall which where mostly just Erika.

Erika's POV
I walked into my moms office and her head was down on her desk.
E: mom
An: why didn't you tell me?
E: I didn't want to get your hopes up if the case didn't go through.
An: why now though?
E: Jake convinced me too he was so mad that he did that happened and a kid touched me today and he drove to the police station and yelled at him to arrest the kid who did it. They did.
An: he's a great boyfriend don't let that one go.
E: he's not my boyfriend
An: what?
E: we're just-
An: so you're a h•e?
E: no mom you know I'm not like that
An: well by the looks of it you're real comfortable with that guy who possibly has reason to go to fvcking jail.
E: mom let me talk.
An: get out of my house I don't allow h•es here.
E: mo-
An: I want you out by tomorrow afternoon
E: mom I'm-
An: I don't want to hear it go
I turned around and walked upstairs and Jake followed me.
J: are you okay?
E: yeah I'm just tired
J: well if I'm gonna stay I have to go get some clothes so I'll be back.
E: I'll come with.
We went downstairs and out the door it was silent the whole way there.
*back at Erikas*
We both changed then I got in the bed and laid down.
J: are you sure you're okay?
E: yeah I'm just tired that's all. I just want you to get in the bed and hold me.
Jake got in the bed and held me from behind.
E: goodnight Jake
J: goodnight Erika
And with that we both fell asleep.
