Words to the silence

You've been here every step of the way.
  you've seen the scars that were left after each argument
  The way tears streamed from the corners of my eyes
  those silent sobs that left from between my lips
  The sobs that you evily laughed at.
You watched me in the shadows while i shattered into pieces
  You were ever so quiet , yet your presence was known.
    Why must you be so silent
       Act as if you cannot hear me
Why must you be so silent.
  After Ive called out to you
Why would you be so quiet ,
   when all i felt was pain.
How could you be so quiet
   and you were my friend
You've been here every step of the way
   Why would you so carelessly
      watch me slip away.
    
I am a victim of your silence
