i texted you.
i told you he was bad.
he sends me threats.
he tells me that i should stop looking at you.
i should stop trying to text you.
i have no idea how he knows, but he does.
you blocked me.
you came up to me at lunch,
and told me words that left me both confused and broken.
your words were "i don't want you in my life anymore. leave me. this is my final goodbye."
but your eyes said different.
i could see in your eyes that you were lying.
i know when you're lying.
but then again you walked away so easily.
and although there was a hint of sadness today with you,
you still laughed at his jokes.
smiled at his smile.
stared at his eyes.
i felt a pang of sudden jealously.
and then sudden sadness.
because why should i be jealous?
i have no chance with you.
i'm hopeless.
i'm stupid.
i'm not him.
i don't make you smile.
i don't make you laugh.
and even though threats are bad,
i guess you're okay with him doing that.
i guess you're okay with hurting me for his enjoyment.
