Rayn pov
He starts to run at me but I dodge the attack. He then lunges his paw at me. It swipes me on my paw because I jumped over him and quickly turned to pin him down with my paw on his neck growling.
I was waiting for him to submit but he wasn't and Athena didn't like that but neither did I.
"Enough" he say.
I didn't move all I did was continue to growl. I wanted respect and I wasn't going anywhere until I got it.
"RAYN control your wolf". I can hear him trying to breathe. That's when I snap out of whatever mindset I'm in.
"Athena please stop" I ask her.
"Not until he submits to me."
"ATHENA we haven't mated yet he is still Alpha."
She let's go but she has so much anger that she runs away. She runs for awhile and I just let her because she needed it. I can't calm her and I wont let her around Lola while like this.
She finally stops running giving me enough time to shift back while at the river. While I was splashing my face with water I get the scent of rogues. With in seconds there three wolves around me and they don't look friendly.
I quickly shift but one of them as already bitten my leg which not only hurt like hell but made me and Athena angry. While the one was still on my leg the other one came lunging at me I knocked him down with a hind kick to his face.
I took the one on my leg still by the tail he whimpered and let go of my leg then I threw him. He hit a tree before he could regain his strength and come at me again, I ran over to him and ripped his throat out. My leg was hurting bad at this point.
"Just don't think about it. Think about going home to our mate." Athena says.
The other two both came at me at the same time one bite me on my side making me whimper a little while I had the other one in my mouth. He came for my neck but I caught him by his neck. I bit down but not enough to kill but enough so he won't run and that he had to shift back.
Then my father and betas appeared and tore the one on my side to peices. I dropped the one in my mouth.
"why are you here?" I asked him.
He say "we're passing through and we smelled you and wanted to have some fun" with a smirk on his face. I ripped his throat out after hearing that.
"Are you ok?" My father ask.
Before I could answer Ashley said "you need to go to the pack doctor".
I just shift to human and now back in my tribal clothes but they are covered in blood. Jared and Ashley set me on my father's back.
"Hold on".
We are at the pack doctor in minutes. I can smell Lola scent strongly so I know she is here. Then I hear her beautiful voice.
"Are you ok?"
"Yes just a little fight." I respond with a smile
"Those were far from little. Those were three grown male wolves"says my father.
"You handled it well"he says with a proud smile on his face.
The pack doctor comes in and says I will need to rest. She say that I will need to rest for the day but I'm healing fast so I will be ok.
Back at the pack house my mom voice comes running to me.
"Your ok thank god. Don't you ever do that again." She say while hitting the back of my head
Then my father says "we both know she will" while chuckling.
"True but she is still my child" says mom while rubbing my check in a motherly way.
I lean into her touch.
Ashley and Jared help me to my room. Lola is right behind them. We both get in bed, with Lola being extra carefull not to hurt my wounds. She keeps asking am I ok and am I comfortable. I just tell her that as long as she is around me I'm good.
She blushes and lays her head on my chest. She gets into a comfortable position and we fall asleep.
It's already been a busy day but the Alpha's meeting is today so there is still a lot going on today. The meeting starts at eight so, we should be able to get a good amount of rest.
Lola wakes me up and say we need to get ready that it's about seven now. She is already in tribal clothes that I can only assume my mother gave her because we haven't marked each other yet.
I put mine on and notice my leg is completely healed and my side is almost there as well but I just shake it off. We head down stairs then out of nowhere Lola gets scared and I can feel it.
"What's wrong?" I say to her.
"The Alpha of my old pack is here he used to beat me a lot." She says leaning into my side.
The thought of him hitting her made me upset and I could feel my self heating up almost shifting. My side starts to hurt Lola grabs me and pulls my head down and says
"As long as I'm with you I'm safe right?"
"Yes I won't let anything happen to you."
Kissing her on her forehead while gently pulling her closer to me protectly. We get to the door, we kiss and walk into the room.
Every Alpha is glad to see me but one and that is the Red Rouge Alpha whom is silent. I give him a stern look and he looks away.
I may not be Alpha yet but I hold some pretty strong alpha blood in me and my alpha is showing more because of Lola. There are eight packs/tribes in the area including ours. My family pack is the strongest and the biggest.
The red rogue alpha then says "A FEMALE CAN'T BE AN ALPHA".
Then one of the other Alpha's says "yes they can". While all the other members nod their heads in agreement.
"Well I won't have it" he say and then growls at me. Before I growl back my father stepped in.
"Don't you dare disrespect my daughter because if you do you are disrespecting me as well".
The other alpha turns around whimpering and sits back down. Lola and I take a seat and listen in on the news about all the packs and trading as well.
All expect the red rogue he didn't say anything for the rest of the night. Once the meeting is done he says to me
"You and I are not over"
I just smirk and say "looking forward to it asshole".
Which makes him angry. Then Lola laughs seeing him upset and not being able to do anything. Which in turn makes him more upset but I just shoulder strug.
He then lunges at me before he can touch me my father and all the other Alpha's are in mid shift and I take hold of Lola and dodge the attack. My father pins him to the ground and says
"Leave now before I kill you and take your pack." He whimpers then submits and runs off. Everyone shift back and says their goodbyes.
We head back to the pack house when I notice that I am completely healed. This was fast even for an Alpha. I just shrugged it off and held Lola in my arms and fall asleep.
RAYN'S DREAM
I was in the forest and it felt so real. It feels so peaceful and a can't help but run. I was running feeling the wind in my fur and dirt under my feet. I was running free and it felt so good. Then a woman surrounded by light came in front of me.
The woman said "Hello Rayn".
"How do you know my name?"
"I am your mother Rayn."
"NO YOUR NOT" I say.
"Rayn before your father met his mate he was with me and I had you. I asked your father to care for because I couldn't. Listen Rayn in the coming months you will begin to become more powerful and feel things like no other just know when you do I will be here."
She was about to leave but I stop and I asked her "what is your name?"
"Moon."
Next thing I know it's morning.
Dream over
Lola wasn't in bed and I got a little uneasy, she must have felt this because she said "I'm in the kitchen with you mom. I'm ok" in our mindlink.
"Good and I see someone has learned to use our link" I say.
She just sends me a image of her rolling her eyes. I get up to go shower, got dressed and went downstairs to eat. I saw Lola, my mom and sister all laughing and talking.
I walked up behind Lola and wrapped my arms around her. She jumped at first but then she could tell it was me and hit me for scaring her. I laughed kissed her check and sat down she handed me a plate with waffles, bacon, ham, eggs and toast I said thanks and started to dig in.
While eating I was thinking about the dream. Should I ask them if it is true?
