Rumbles of broken pillars littlered the grassy ground. Gust of wind flowed through the valley, leaves dabcing with the winds. There were few clouds in the sky, making it seem like the perfect day. Three figures were at the top of a hill. Two were sitting next to each other hands on top of the other's. The other was standing up, clearly not wanting to be the third wheel.
"I hear they're back".
The blonde had said it. Slightly spiked hair that emerged from every direction, dark blue eyes, a diagonal scar on the corner of his right eye. A crystal shaped earring hanged from his left ear, and a blue and gold vest adorned with fur. He wears a short top leaving his admonials exposed, dark blue gloves that went up to his mid-biceps, showing his guild mark. Lose pants and boots.
This was Sting Eucliffe, white dragon slayer, part of Sabertooth's Triplet Dragon Slayers.
"What are you talking about?"
The black haired had said this. A black robe hugged his figure, the left shoulder part with his guild mark. A plain gray shirt and four pieces of cloths hand from his waist and armored boots. His hair was let down covering his right eye.
This was Rogue Cheney, shadow dragon slayer, part of Sabertooth's Triplet Dragon Slayers.
"The core members of Fairy Tail that's disappeared seven years ago".
The black haired girl faced away from the blonde, glaring out into the distance, lollipop stuck in between her lips. She was wearing a pale lavender leather jacket, a tight purple top, and black jeans. She was wearing a pair of a dark purple ankle boots as well. Her hair was let down as always. On top of the collar of her jacket you could part of her Sabertooth mark, if you look closely enough. A light pink flower ring sat on her ring finger.
This was Ruka Galaxia, once known as a Dragneel, galaxy dragon slayer, the final addition to Sabertooth's Triplet Dragon Slayers.
"I'm not interested".
"Don't lie to me, Rogue-"
"Especially since you looked up to Natsu-San that much".
"That was a long time ago".
The black haired took the lollipop out her lips with a loud pop and sighed.
"A very long time ago".
One hour before
Ruka's Point of View
"Man, Sting did you really have to choose such an easy job" I said as I cracked my knuckles. He turned to look at me with a are-you-serious-look. "What it just looks like you just went to the request board and you teared off the one that seemed less terrifing to you". I could hear the exceeds giggle behind me. "See even Lector agrees with me, right buddy?" I asked him. "Well you can say that, but I know Sting choose this job because he's just showing off to a certain someone". I looked at him to see a quick blush covering his face and turning his head around.
"Awwww are you blushing?" I tease him, as I poke his check. "No I'm not".
"Can you please stop, and concentrate on making a plan" Rogue unpatiently asks.
"Sure, you got any ideas, Rogue?".
"Well, you can create a milky way inside the guild, just to bring the wizards out and then me and Sting attack".
"Or I can just suck up everything in and we finish the job" I chirped in.
He glared at me and glared right back. "Well if you had already decided on the plan why are we still here Rogue?". "Well you two were to busy on whining". "Whining? I was not whining". "Okay, how about we just finish it and go home" Sting says. "Fine" we both said. I stood up from our place behind a boulder and walked up to the guild.
I could see wizards outside guarding the guild, they carried arrows and bows. I could hear screaming just from seeing me walk up. I quickly took quick glances at the guild, calculating how big I should do my attack. I took my now finished lollipop out of my mouth and threw it the ground.
I outstretched my right arm, closed my eyes and took a deep breath.
"Thats right. Just concentrate Ruka-yeah you're doing it".
I shook my head getting that voice out of my head. I opened my eyes and threw my attack.
"MILKYWAY OF THE GALAXY DRAGON!!".
I got out a new lollipop from my pocket and got ready for the aftermath. Nothing happened for a few second but soon afterwards, purple light imitated from the windows and doors from the guild, a large slowly spinning milky way appeared from above me and wizards starting to fall. I smirked and jumped into the air. The wizard were caught off guard and couldn't keep up with my speed. I saw Sting and Rogue in the mist of the battle.
The battle had now continued on solid ground and so far I hadn't gotten a single scratch. I felt a sharp jab on my rib and saw a wizard had shoot an arrow and had lightly grazed my side. And at the same time my lollipop had fallen from my mouth. My last lollipop, the only thing that actually kept me happy was now wasted and dusted on the ground. I groaned and turned to fight the wizards remaining. I glared at him and rushed over to him. I used my claw and fist of the galaxy dragon attack on him. He was now lying on the ground all beaten.
I lowered my head and whispered into his ear.
"Please die".
"Recovery of the galaxy dragon" I murmured. This wasn't an attack it was just a spell to heal my minor injuries.
I once again cracked my knuckles and looked at my surroundings there was about a hundred or so left. I groaned amd rushed over to the fighting. I few minutes later I felt someone had their back to me and then smelled Sting's scent. "250" he panted. I knew what he meant, we had starting this game when we were about 16. It was simple, take out as many enemies, the winner would make a command to the loser. Sting would always try to beat me, saying he wanted me to kiss him. But, he never once beat me until he cheated once.
I smirked, "280" I panted as well. I heard him chuckle as he dodged an attack. I elbowed a wizard close to me and kicked another one. "And that was that was the last one" I declared. "I win" I say confidently. "I think I did, with a total of 295". My smirk disappeared and turned my head back. Rogue was standing there, clearly not interested that he had won. Sting put his arms around my neck and placed his chin on my head. "Rogue you never seem happy even though you win almost win 50 percent of the time" we say nonchantly. He simply turned away and walked to some fallen pillar and followed him.
I took a look around and noticed we had created quite a mess. The untouched guild that I had left unharmed was now in shabbles and torn into pieces of rock. There was nothing left.
I sat down next to Sting and played with his earring for a bit before placing my hand on top of his. He didn't mind if I messed with that earring of his, he said he found it 'relaxing'. Not sure how but I like playing with it either ways.
And that's when he had to open his mouth.
Present Time
"Man, talking about 7 years ago really makes me nostalgic...I was this small back then" he said as he raised his arm to show us about how small. He would have reached up to my waist.
"Ah you were Gajeel's apprentice back then, right? Man...Gajeel was really scary!".
I snorted at that comment and placed my head on my palms.
"Don't cling onto the past, Sting,"
"Those people were not there on the path we took."
A mage with a bow and arrow ran up to us, he looked pretty determined on killing us. Not that he would succeed anyways.
"I found you-DIEEE!"
He short the arrow completely missing me and Sting, he was probably aiming Rogue. Rogue look unfazed by the fact that an arrow was coming towards him, I sat up as Sting singly handed caught the arrow and starting to eat it.
"He ate... the arrow..huh" the guy murmured. I was still able to hear him thanks to my dragon slayer senses. His eyes widened in realization. "No way he can't be...!!".
Sting stood up and used his Roar of the White Dragon on the soldier. It completely domilshed half of his helmet and part of the wall behind him.
"Ooh? You kept your bad side slip out a bit didn't ya?" He asked the mage. I stood up and walked up in between Sting and Rogue.
"S...So it was them...they're,"
"The Triplet Dragons of Sabertooth....White Dragon Sting...Rogue the Shadow Dragon...and Ruka the Galaxy Dragon...the Dragon Slayer Trio".
I smiled, he actually knew us, not that I was surprised though.
He ran away, tripping among the shambles but getting up quickly and ruing off again.
"I think you over did it again, Sting" I said.
"You did too!,.."
"Hey, Hey...Are you just going to abandon your comrades? You're really are scum".
"They are a dark guild, after all.."
I looked behind me and saw hundreds of beaten bodies laying before us. I stared at our work unfazed. Oh well, it wasn't going to be the first time we overdid it.
Third Person Point of View
"Sting-Kun And Ruka-Chan overdid it again, didn't they..?"
"Ribbit".
"Where did Lector, Juri and Frosch get off to?" Ruka asked the boys.
"We were just doing a bit of reconnaissance" a red cat with a blue vest stated. The dragon Slayers turned to the voice and smiled at their exceed's.
"Yo~!! It's the fire dragon and Iron dragon...and we won't be second best to the sky dragon-".
The black haired girl stiffened at the mention of the fire dragon and to keep her anger in control she started to play with her ring.
"Fro thinks so too~" a green exceed with a frog onesie chriped in.
"But honestly, must you over do it every time we have a job" a blue exceed with a pick and black dress added.
The black haired girl went over and crouched down in front of her furry friend. "But we got the job done, Juri. Isn't that the only thing that matters?" Ruka asked, tilting her head to left slightly. The exceed placed her paws on her hips and slowly smiled at her human friend. She raised her law and patted her human's friend head.
Those seven years that passed, released...new dragon slayers...
Sting crouched down in front of his red exceed and high fived him. "Right?".
"After all, you're the most powerful dragon slayer Sting-Kun!! Yup! Of course, followed right after Ruka-Chan".
"That's true" Sting said as he petted Lector's head.
The three dragon slayers and three exceeds started to walk home. Sting and Ruka hand in hand.
"I think as off now, I'd definitely be able to beat Natsu-San".
Ruka shook her head jokingly with a small smile on her face.
"Yeah if course you would! Yup!" Lector eagerly added.
"Wanna go have a duel with him, Rogue?"
"Not interested."
"Fro thinks so too~"
"Fine then, what about you Ruka?"
The black haired girl stopped walking and faced him with a smirk. She needed to accept that her brother was back one way or the other. She knew she's couldn't be angry all her life, she just had to turn that emotion into something else. What better way to do that with a fight.
"Sounds fun".
A/N: What did I say? Told you guys I would update by the end of the day. I surely work on chapter 4 tomorrow, update tomorrow if possible or not. And if I don't 80% chance I will on Thanksgiving. Nati out.
