Yn's POV
*The Next Day*
Diggy & DJ checked me out of the hospital, and I was just at home, lying in bed. The TV wasn't on, but I was staring at it anyways. I honestly couldn't stop thinking about what Dr. Reynolds had said yesterday. Every word had some type of truth to it. Every. Single. Word.
Diggy walked in and gently closed the door. "DJ's asleep" he whispered. He came over and kissed my forehead.
I shifted the way I was laying down, but didn't say anything.
He sat next to me and put my legs on his lap. "Yn" he said.
I looked at him.
"We need to talk."
I shook my head and laid back down.
"Yes" he said firmly. "Are you okay? How are you feeling?"
"As shitty as I felt four years ago" I blurted out.
He looked down. "Yn, I'm trying to help."
I sat up. "Well, don't okay? I just wanna be left alone."
He shook his head. "He was right."
"What?" I asked him.
"Dr. Reynolds. He was right. You're thinking what happened back then is the reason for all of this now."
I remained silent.
"Yn, what happened isn't your fault. The man was driving drunk-"
"Maybe if I hadn't murdered my own baby four years ago we wouldn't even have to deal with this!"
He shook his head and grabbed my hand. "Yn, do you realize what happened in the past is over with? We can't go back and change shit."
"Why not?!" I screamed. "Life would be so much easier if we could! My grandma would still be alive, my mom wouldn't have turned into a fucking crackhead, my dad would've probably actually wanted to be apart of my life for longer than a couple of days, & maybe, just maybe, I wouldn't have had to have an abortion if I hadn't let Jason stay with me long enough to beat and rape me." I laid back down and sobbed. "I don't even know who I am anymore."
"Yn, listen to me okay? None of this is your fault." He wiped away my tears. "You're the best thing that could've ever happened to me, do you realize that? Without you, I wouldn't be happy, I wouldn't have DJ, who knows what could've happened to me? I need you to stay strong, nobody is blaming you for anything."
I took in his words, did he genuinely mean what he was saying? I looked in his red, puffy eyes and saw nothing but truth and sorrow. Diggys taking this really hard, he was so excited to have this baby. I laid on his lap until I dozed off.
*6 Months Later*
Minnie's POV
I have another doctors appointment to go to. Gosh, I feel awful. My back is aching, my feet hurt, and I blowing up like a balloon! Ugh, I'm ready for him to just come out already!
Yes, I said him. I'm having a boy! Corahn is really excited. He's been to every doctor's appointment, catering to my every need and want. No, he's not back in the house.
I know it's been 6 months but you can't just expect for me to forgive him that easily, especially since he cheated on me. I'm still heartbroken about it. Especially since he cheated with a bitch he knew I hated.
Yn isn't doing too well. Every since she lost her baby she's been depressed. But, she and Diggy have been at my side every step of the way. Every doctor's appointment, buying clothes, buying things for the nursery.
Corahn pulled up in front of my house, driving me around since I can't really do it anymore. I got a call from Diggy as I was walking out of the door. "Have you talked to Yn? I haven't seen her in two days and I've been calling everyone but nobody's seem her" he said, sounding worried.
"No" I said, feeling worried too. "Maybe she's at the hospital already. Don't worry, I'll see you there, okay?"
"Okay" he said sounding uneasy.
I hung up and wobbled as fast as I could to the car. "Have you seen or heard from Yn?" I asked Corahn as I slowly made my way into the car.
"No, she hasn't spoken to me since the accident" Corahn said.
"Oh yeah" I said, remembering Yn and Corahn aren't on speaking terms at all. Diggy forgave him, but I don't think they'll ever be how they used to be. It's gonna take time for that to happen.
"Why? Is everything okay?" he asked as he began driving.
"I hope so" I murmured.
When we pulled up to the hospital, I immediately saw Diggy and Yn arguing. Uh-oh, this can't be good.
Diggy's POV
"Why would you just leave without telling anyone, Yn?! Do you know how worried everyone was?!"
She ran her fingers through her hair. "I'm 21, Diggy! I don't need to tell you everywhere I go!"
She tried to walk off but I grabbed her arm and pulled her back. "Yn, you gotta stop being so damn childish! Damn! I'm 21, too, but you don't see me leaving for days without telling you where the fuck I'm going! We have a five year old now!"
All of us had a birthday within the last 6 months, in case you're confused.
Yn shook her long, curly hair. "I'm here now, so what the fuck is the problem?!"
"The problem is you're leaving unannounced and not telling anyone where the fuck you're going! That's not okay! You could've died and nobody would've had a clue!"
"Woah, woah, woah, calm down y'all" Corahn said. "What's wrong!"
Yn stormed off inside the hospital building, leaving the rest of us in the parking lot. I shook my head. "I don't know what's going on with that girl."
"Just give it some time, Dig" Minnie said while putting her hand on my shoulder.
I shook my head. "She doesn't even wanna talk to me anymore. I'm trying so hard, what does she want me to do?"
"It's all my fault" Corahn said.
"Stop blaming yourself. Its nobody's fault, I just want things to be the way they used to be."
We all walked into the office. Yn was nowhere to be found, once again. "I'll go find her" I said as they sat down and waited for their names to be called.
I looked around the hospital. After a few minutes, I finally saw her staring at the newborn babies in the nursery. I sighed as I walked over to her, and put my arm around her shoulder.
"Look" she said, not even looking at me once as she pointed to a baby on the other side of the glass window. "Look at her, the one with the beautiful caramel skin. She looks like us, doesn't she?"
She actually did resemble us. She looked exactly like Yn and had some of my features as well. She was gorgeous.
"Yeah, she does" I said.
She leaned on my shoulder. "If our baby would've been a girl, I would've wanted her name to be Daniella" she said softly.
I kissed her forehead. I didn't know what to say. "Yn, what if we just try again?"
She looked up at me. "What?"
Yn's POV
"You know, try again. We can try for another baby, tonight while DJ's over my moms house. Itll just be us two, alone. What do you say?" He gazed into my eyes.
I didn't know what to say, or what to do. Then, a smile grew on my face. I kissed Diggy passionately. "I love you so much."
"I love you too" he said smiling and grabbing my hand. We walked back toward the waiting room. Then, I felt guilty.
"Wait, Diggy, stop" I said. He stopped in his tracks and turned to me. "There's something I've been hiding from you since the accident."
He looked confused. "Okay, what is it?"
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. "Diggy" I began. "I-"
___________________________CLIFF HANGER! Ha! School is ugh 👎. What do you think Yn's gonna tell Diggy. Minnie seems happy and Corahn at least seems like he's trying. Do you think she should finally forgive him? Diggy & Yn might have another baby! I didn't edit this.
