I know what's out there.
I'm educated.
I know all the things I can't have.
A love life.
Independence.
A voice.
A gun.
Emotion.
Good experiences.
I'm stuck.
In a place.
Where the same things happen.
Again and again.
Opportunities taunt me.
Luck betrays me.
Sorrow surrounds me.
And longing hurts me.
A constant pain in my heart.
One that is a constant reminder of
My wanderlust.
Of my lust.
Of my lack of control.
These situations are out of my hands.
Oh but the pain.
The false excitement
The disappointment.
Nothing can get me out
Of this monotony
I'm tired.
