"can't believe this is my home for the next month and a half" kaia plopped down onto the couch on her new tour bus watching as her sisters looked around
"i'm not happy at all with these bunks" kayleene opened the door to where the bunks where with a disgusted look
"i am actually excited this is the most excited i've been in over a month" kimberlee forced a smile as she looked out the window at the row of tour buses
kayleene frowned as kaia pulled kimberlee into a tight hug, "we're gonna make prettymuch our bitches this tour" kaia whispered into kimberlee's ear making the girl laugh
"c'mon let's go check out the city" kayleene looked back at her sisters who followed her off the bus, the girls walked through the parking lot conversing with one another before someone called kimberlee's name making her turn noticing austin from a distance with his bright pink hair standing next to edwin with his bright blue hair.
kimberlee couldn't help herself as she took off running towards to the boys jumping straight into austin's arms, "i missed you guys so fucking much" kimberlee jumped down and ran into edwin's arms nearly taking the boy down to the floor
"you have no idea how much we missed you guys" edwin groaned as he hugged the girls tightly missing how it felt to have them hug him
"yeah how do you just go off the grid like that and come back with a instagram post in the studio and then drop an ep that is killing the charts and become our opening acts?" austin questioned kimberlee as she grinned and looked at kaia who shrugged
"long story talk about it over drinks tonight?" kimberlee offered making austin nod eagerly
"where's the other shitheads?" kayleene looked around for the three missing boys as edwin chuckled and pointed towards the venue
"inside the venue pull up" edwin jogged away as the girls and austin trailed behind him catching up on all the time they spent apart
the group walked inside where the music blared out the speakers with zion in the middle of the stage getting ready to dance to fuck love, kimberlee smiled as he did his regular steps hitting the folks in the process as brandon and nick cheered him on.
she stayed hidden watching the boys act an ass on stage freestyling, "damn kimberlee would murder this beat if she was here" brandon let out a small smile as sicko mode came on
"did you not see that last choreo she put out to uproar that shit was beast mode" zion ran his fingers through his dreads shaking his head as he thought about her talent
"yeah she did it with my mans louis out in brooklyn while she was in new york he got a crazy crush on her" nick grinned at brandon who rolled his eyes
"yeah well tell him stay away from her i don't care" brandon shrugged as he walked to the other side of the stage
"ohhh is someone jealous?" nick teased the boy who ignored him
kimberlee shook her head stepping into clear view smirking as the boys jumped and down screaming once they noticed her presence, "cut it out y'all sound like babies" kimberlee tried to yell over the loud music
edwin passed the girl a working mic laughing at her attempts"i said cut it out y'all sound like babies" kimberlee repeated herself as nick and zion laughed
"yo you murdered that uproar choreo!" nick complimented the girl who bowed
"edwin is stealing it" zion spilled the beans making kimberlee mush edwin who laughed and put his hands up in surrender
"y'all will never be better than me" kimberlee teased as kaia and kayleene let out oh's to intimidate the five boys
"say word? aye somebody throw on uproar real quick" edwin yelled as he hopped on stage, kimberlee shook my head looking at kaia who laughed and took a seat on the floor watching as her walked to the stage climbing up with the help of zion and tied her hair up as edwin fixed the music.
kimberlee turned looking at brandon who looked down at the floor before glancing at her making her heart race, it's been a while since she had seen him face to face and he still made her feel so nervous around him.
"just talk to him" zion whispered in kimberlee's ear making her face scrunch up
"he can talk to charlotte" she muttered as zion face palmed himself, before he could say something else the beat came in leaving her and edwin to themselves as she perfected his choreo to uproar for the next thirty minutes.
"yo we're starving" zion groaned as kimberlee and edwin took a water break
"i say we grab some food and go rollerskating" kayleene threw her arm around kaia who quickly removed it while agreeing, the group grabbed their things walking over to the local skating rink taking up the seats in the biggest booth looking at the menu while holding small conversations to kill the awkwardness between brandon and kimberlee
kimberlee played with her phone but stopped as the song pretend began to play making her look at brandon who looked at her and smiled a bit, "we're gonna go play some games" edwin dragged kaia out the booth while everyone followed leaving just just and brandon
"reminds you of the first night we shared together huh" he said as kimberlee looked down and away from him
"yeah it was a good night despite you spraining my ankle with your thick ass" kimberlee scoffed making him laugh at her 'thick ass' comment
the two listened to the lyrics bopping their heads before brandon looked at her dead in her eyes, just the sight of his face made the girl weak in the knees. she thought about how she wanted to pretend like he never lied so she could hold him all night feeling his soft lips against her forehead and lips, she wanted to pretend none of this ever happened so they could start over.
one thing she didn't have to pretend is that it's him she's in love with.
"let's pretend it's my first time so you can really blow my mind" kimberlee muttered the lyrics as he chuckled
"let's pretend we never met a good excuse to play forget" he sung the lyrics softly to kimberlee grabbing her hands as he looked in her eyes
"let's pretend you never lied so i can give it up all night swallow my pride and learn to forgive" kimberlee spoke the next lyrics pulling her hands back smirking
"when i'm looking for love i pretend it's you" brandon softly sung the lyrics making the smirk small from her face
"i don't pretend i know it's you and i know i messed this up bad kimberlee i can't get you off my mind i'm always on your instagram page looking at what you're doing hoping you're okay" brandon admitted watching as kimberlee pursed her lips and listened to him
"you didn't give me a chance to explain myself or my actions and maybe i don't deserve one i don't know but i hope tomorrow night will show you that i'm serious about this about us" brandon held onto her hands once again
before she could ask any questions the group had came back pulling them out of the booth, "come on we'll eat after we skate the music is extra lit right now" kaia said as she passed her sister a pair of skates
kimberlee didn't hesitate putting the skates on her feet and skating over to the rink immediately feeling herself about to fall but zion caught her laughing as he held onto her guiding her around, "yo they're playing our song!" nick yelled as the dj turned the music up
kimberlee skated towards the middle grabbing nick's hands letting him spin her in circles while would you mind played loudly through the skate rink
"remember the day we first met you and you bodied the choreo" nick held onto her hand as they skated around
"the good days i miss them" kimberlee pouted making nick stop her skates
"who said they were over man listen don't let old things get in between what you want you hear me, brandon is crazy about you charlotte don't got a thing on you she barely exists to him" nick insisted making kimberlee roll her eyes at the fact that he thought his words would make a difference
"barely" kimberlee emphasized the word
"listen you didn't hear it from me but he's done with her they were arguing through texts on the flight here and he ended things she obviously thinks he's going to come back but he wants you" nick reminded the girl who looked down in disappointment
all this time she was holding this grudge and he was fighting for her more than she ever imagined.
"listen go get your man before some fine ass shorty on this tour do" nick smirked skating away from the girl who scoffed and shook her head
"over my dead fucking body" she yelled to the boy as she skated off
