Kayla's P.O.V
"He needs to ask you out already!" Veronica exclaims as I take a couple books out of my locker.
I jokingly roll my eyes and laugh at her. "Roni calm down. I'm not complaining."
"You should, its been months. Months I tell you?!" she exaggerates.
God, she can be so over dramatic.
"We are taking things slow," I say as I close my locker.
"Girl come on, he needs to man up and ask you out already," Roni rants.
Why is she acting like this?
The only reason why she would be- oh Roni
"Roni is this about the end of the school dance?" I question as I turn to look over her.
"Of course! Noah and I are going together and you need a date."
I glare at her and shake my head.
"Ethan will-" I say right before I get cut off.

The door unexpectedly burst open loudly making me turn to see the biggest asshole of the school walking next to his jerk-tourage.
He confidently walks down the hall wearing his football jacket and books in hand winking at the random girls standing around melting in their spot.
He was the biggest player of them all.
He made you believe whatever you wanted just to get you in bed then forgot you.
Typical of him.
He had the looks, the charm and the determination.
Poor girls who fell for him.
The fuckboy.

The door burst open as I see Ethan walking in next to his friends laughing and smiling.
A smile forms on my face as I see him walk in with a bright smile plastered on his face.
His glaze meets mine and its like sparks are flying between us.
I felt the love.
I felt the happiness.
I felt it all.
Who would of thought we would work out. I chuckle.
Ethan's P.O.V
"I'm working on it," I say as we push the school doors open.
"The dance is soon dumbass," Drew says.
All of the guys laugh at his comment and look at me.
"I have a plan chill," I smile brightly as I make my way down the hall.

I continue to walk down the hallway until my eyes come in contact with Kayla's.
She is what you call a whore.
Yeah she has a boyfriend but cheats on him all the time.
He does to so I guess its even but it's none of my concern.
She sleeps around and leaves them after she is satisfied.
The guys are so stupid falling at her fingertips easily.
She is a manipulative bitch that always gets what she wants but she won't get that from me.
I plan to never mess with her.
She is way too complicated.

My eyes come in contact with hers as a smile forms on her face.
Beautiful
A smile quickly made its way up my face as I kept walking towards her.
I confidently walk towards her as her eyes remain fixated on mine.
"Kayla-" I happily say before I get cut off right away.
"Ethan, when are you asking her out?" Veronica quickly asks as I got closer to them.
I literally choke on air as I hear her mention that.
I begin coughing uncontrollably as Kayla dead stares Veronica.
"Shut up," she mumbles punching Veronica's shoulder slightly.
"It's a genuine question," she defends.
"I'm sorry she wasn't-"
"Don't worry about it," I stutter."I have class in a bit, umm..
seen you later," I say before I quickly walk away from them.
Why the hell did I just do that?
Kayla's P.O.V
"Why the fuck did you do that?!" I exclaim.
"It was just a suggestion " she shrugs.
"No it wasn't!? You scared him off," I say as I begin to pace around pulling on the roots of my hair.
"He needed a little push," she defends.
I shake my head in disapproval as I try my best not to lash out.
"He ran away," I sigh.
"He'll come around," she says hugging my side.
"Hopefully."

The last bell of the day rings loudly echoing through the current empty halls.
"Class dismissed" my teacher instructs.
"Finally," a boy next to me mumbles to himself causing me to release a small chuckle.
I begin to collect all my papers placed on my desk as I neatly stack them up. I then pick my backpack from the floor placing it on top of my desk as I stand up and put them away.
The sound of rapid footsteps coming from the door catch my attention as I see Veronica rushing in at full speed.
"Let's go," she demands pulling on my arm.
"Hold on," I say as I grab my backpack off my desk.
Veronica dragged me outside the classroom basically forcing me to follow her.
I tried my best to pull my hand out of her tight grip, but failed every time.
"Where are we going?" I question.
Veronica stays silent as she pushes the entrance doors open.
"Roni where are we-" I say as I look up to see a big sign with black bold letters written on it. "-going" I mumble.
Ethan stood there with a cheesy smile plastered on his face as I began walking closer to him.
"What are you doing?" I chuckled.
"Something I should have done sooner," he smiles as he pulls a dozen of roses from behind his back.
He hands me the roses and takes a step back.
"Kayla Jones, will you be my girlfriend?" he nervously asks.
My face expression drops.
He just asked me out.
He asked me out?!
I stood there in pure shock as I let everything sink in.
"Yes," I said as a couple tears fell from my eyes.
He rushed over to me and hugged me tightly picking me up from my feet.
"I love you," he says as he places me down on the floor.
"I love you too," I whisper as I play around with his hair.
"This also means I'll be your date for the dance," he chuckles. "Just putting that out there."
"OMG YESS" Veronica cheers on the sidelines.
Me and Ethan both turn to look at her and smile.

The players had lost their reputations, something that used to be important to them, as they had now found something more valuable to them.

This is the last chapter and I'm so happy about it.
When I first started to write this, I honestly never imagined people reading this and now I honestly feel like crying seeing how fast it has grown.
