I feel the wall press against my back

It was raw and rough

Voices filled my head

Flooding me with regret

Why can't I see past this blockade

"Just a little further.

That's all they ever say!

They expect so many things from me,

And then leave me in misery,

After they see that I can't succeed."

I sunk to the ground

As unseen walls closed around my fragile figure

I brought my knees to my chest and cried

Letting out a vent of emotion

But then something happened that I did not expect

I felt the uncertainties slip away as if my tears had washed them away

And strength fueled my weak limbs

I stood up feeling relief relax my face

I balled up my fist and punched that wall until it shattered like glass

Breaking apart my worries almost vanished in a flash

They don't define me

I looked around at the other walls built not far away

'Don't let uncertainty stop your destiny.'

I wrote on the next wall with a smile on my face.

I could overcome them all with His might by my side.
